Jose answered quickly via Yelp messaging with a quote and availability. He was on time and the price was very reasonable. He did a great job straightening out the cabinets I messed up and installing the rest of the cabinet handles. I also had him install two medicine cabinets recessed into the wall in my bathroom which turned out great. When he was done he made sure he cleaned up after cutting into the wall to put in the cabinets. I wouldn't hesitate to call Jose again for any work I need done. I think I'll call him back for some concrete work in my backyard when I'm ready.

I needed new bi-fold doors for 5 closets and he made the project pretty seamless for me. He measured everything, quoted quickly, and had the shop turnaround the doors in no time. He spent an entire day installing the doors because my house is old and each door needed some unexpected adjustments. He never complained, didn't even ask for more money (I paid him more anyways), and did a fabulous job. 10/10 recommend Alfredo!

Alfredo helped me navigate the technical side of things, making sure I picked out a door with the exact right specs for my opening, and he was able to order it for me at an extremely competitive price. The door arrived in about three weeks. The moment Alfredo started the installation, his craftsmanship and attention to detail were immediately apparent. He didn't rush the job at all; he took his time to ensure everything was done flawlessly. The alignment is absolutely perfect, and the door seal is incredibly tight. Alfredo's pricing for his labor is extremely fair--honestly, he might want to consider raising his prices for the caliber of work he delivers. If you are looking to buy a new front door or need one installed, do yourself a favor and call Alfredo. We would recommend him to ANYONE.

The process of choosing a door, getting and agreeing to a quote, making a down payment and then Sergio's ordering and acquisition of the door, customization (we have a nonstandard front entry), sending to the painter (optional; we chose to) and scheduling the installation was absolutely pleasant, easy and timely via mostly text messages with the occasional phone call. Sergio was PERFECTLY communicative the whole time; there was one day where I said to my wife, "I wonder if Sergio's gotten the door yet," and later that day he texted me, "Got your door today!" Day of the installation comes and it's not Sergio that shows up initially, it's a couple of younger guys (Adam and Gabriel) who can't be too too far out of high school. They tell me Sergio's on his way and they are going to get started, and they do. These young men were also very obviously good at what they do and were so very cool and respectful both of me and my property. They got busy, I work from home, at some point Sergio showed up, and they worked throughout the day. They: - Removed my old security door - Removed my old front door - Removed the exterior and interior trim - Removed the existing custom, metal frame - Built a new frame on my lawn - Installed the new frame - Installed new exterior and interior trim (I supplied interior trim materials which I had on hand) - Installed my new front door - Installed my new security door - Cleaned up after themselves I COULD NOT BE happier with the service I received from Any Kind of Doors. The best part? Throughout the day, I got to observe a master craftsman teaching his journeymen. Over and over Sergio had Adam or Gabriel do the work, and competently coached them while observing closely. The work is immaculate and I got to watch this dude get it done and simultaneously pass on his knowledge in a family business. And my house. Looks. AWESOME. I'm seldom compelled to write a review, but when you gotta, you gotta. If you need a new front door and want an easy, pleasant, turnkey (pun intended, pretty good one right?), feel-better-about-the-world-at-the-end-of-it experience, hit up Any Kind of Doors. And thank you, Sergio.

After buying a replacement bulb (which is getting harder to find as they are "outlawed" now by the folks in Sacramento) I learned that it was not the bulb as the flashing continued. I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to LED rather than chase a second ballast. This was about a 10x difference out of pocket but as I just got paid by a couple of side jobs, we could afford it. Based on Yelp reviews, I called Evan's Handyman Co. Everything from there until completion went as well as I could have asked for. A professional of theirs stopped by, gave me a firm bid, we scheduled time, they called when an earlier slot opened up, and the work was done by 7 minutes after the original start time.
