When I called for service, I was initially offered an appointment in early August. After I objected, I was offered July 23. Only after I asked to speak with a supervisor and repeatedly emphasized that this was a three-day-old installation involving an exterior door that could not be secured did they arrange for someone to come the next day. The windows were also left with noticeable smudges, grime, and adhesive residue that I had to clean myself. I also received no useful walkthrough on how to remove the sliding sash for exterior cleaning. I appreciate that they eventually scheduled a next-day visit, but I should not have had to push multiple times for a basic security problem on a brand-new installation to be treated urgently. At this point, my overall experience is about 6/10, pending whether the service visit actually resolves the problem. Update: Wallside sent someone out next day to address all my issues. I've changed my rating to 5/5. Thank you.

When we figured out a few days later that it must have been them calling and called there we were lucky enough to get Mr Attitude on the phone who could barely give us the time of day to help see if the door was actually in-since there was no message left when they called a few days earlier. After he said yes it was there, he immediately hung up on us. When we go to pick up the door... "yeah, he will help you"(pointing in general direction of a young kid that worked there) and was actually the nicest person we dealt with when he helped load it into our truck. Filed insurance claim April & gave Harley's a check for $19,000 beginning of May 2024, but failed to receive a contract detailing scope of work, timing & schedule for final payment. All summer, repeated requests for a contract & job status updates were either met with excuses, delays, lies, broken promises or no response or communication at all. After a direct meeting at the Flat Rock office, Aug. 29th, again demanded contract & update. We were promised a drafted contract would be drawn up, but failed to receive any. After ignoring our calls & texted messages, we notified Harley's ( early Sept.) to cancel job since still no materials were delivered & no work on roof was performed & also the failure to provide a detailed work scope contract. We then requested a $19 k refund. Did not hear anything back from them until Oct.14 , when their attorney offered a partial refund, deducting over $5,000 for "fees" & $3,307 for commission ?? Hired attorney to work out a settlement or pursue lawsuit in court, but Harley's attorney is no longer representing them ? Repeated attempts to contact Harley's business & personally, no response & now phones say out of service ?? It's been over one year & still no sign of Harley's or any money returned & no explanation. Heed this & the many other negative reviews & DO NOT do business ( if they are still in business & haven't skipped town or changed their name) Harley's Construction & Restoration. Make sure to get multiple quotes from a variety of contractors, check reviews & BBB complaints & don't pay any up front money !
