I visited this salon yesterday evening and asked for a fill in but the tech told me I need a soak off, which i agreed too. She took 2 hours on my nails and cut every single one of my fingers. The process was extremely painful. She was very messy with the application and I have left over acrylic under my nail tips. I'm not usually a person who writes reviews but this establishment needs to know who kind of service there employees are providing. It is extremely disappointing to spend money on a service that is less than satisfactory and is leaving me still in pain 24 hours later. read more

Of all of the nail salons I have been to, they definitely did one of the best jobs. And even more importantly the price was one of the cheapest I've seen and the salon was probably the nicest one I have ever been to! So considering the price and the quality of the salon I would 100% go back even if they had done a slightly worse job on my nails haha but they still did a good job! I don't get gel so it also may just be my fault for getting standard polish. I am sure gel would look better! Price: ended up paying 80€ including the tip for an acrylic set + pedicure + polish removal on Both. Also adding pics of their service menu :) Salon: was soo clean and very nice on the inside. I have never seen this but they had an iPad where you sign in when you get there and then get seated right away. It was all very organized. There was a lady at the front managing everything. Some salons seem unorganized and there's not always someone at the front but here there was and she was very nice! Nails: did like them. Again I think it's my fault for choosing regular polish and a light color on top of that. That could be why I feel certain spots look a little too thin, but overall good. Not too thick and the girl that did them, did them very quickly, while I was getting a pedicure. Some salons don't do that and it takes forever but I'd say we got all of this done in an hour. My sister also got the same thing as me! Only complaints: There were a few spots on my nails where the polish seemed thin but not a huge deal. I did wish they would've but the cuticle oil on the nails because mine looked soo dry. I didn't get to wash my hands before getting them painted because I was getting a pedicure so that was okay but they just looked super dry at first. And for the pedicure they didn't really scrub anything so it was probably a 3/5 for that but the polish looked fine. Definitely will go back here if I am in town and especially as far as mail salons in Monroe, GA area I'd say this is by far the best one around and actually cheaper than the other ones. read more

Let me start with: I was a walk-in customer. The salon was beautifully designed and was aesthetically pleasing. I was greeted by the owner/manager who offered me a sweet smile and seated me for an SNS fill-in and pedicure. The salon also had a beautiful display of the new spring colors. I worked with Helena to get my nails done. Something about a nail tech letting you know the honest dangers of acrylic (I had them on previously from another salon) makes me trust them more. She also made great suggestions to help with my vision for my nails, talked to me throughout the process and was all around so nice! The place was super clean. She let me keep my natural nails which no previous tech I've been to has ever even asked me if I wanted to, and by the time I realize it's too late and they're cutting them so that was a breath of fresh air! The set was only $75 so I tipped her the rest of my $100 since she was so good and did them so well! Will be coming back as my usual spot! read more

I live local and between the cluster of nail shops in Winder/Bethlehem this one is top to me. I've been consistent with my visits, getting pedis and full sets. Pedicures are never a miss for me here. My nails on the other hand have sort of been trial and error. It's truly about the techs. Thankfully this most recent visit I was paired with a sweet young tech who paid attention to all the details and even fixed anything I made note of. Most of the time the ladies are rushing to get them done while watching the rest of the salon majority of my time. I've waited two weeks since having an acrylic fill in with gel polish just so I could give a more accurate review. The tech was friendly and quick and it appeared he did a great job until I got home and as I ran my fingers through my hair, two fingernails got caught on super thin lifted acrylic, almost like it was just some extra that he just didn't get off. I was gonna go back but wanted to see how it looked as they grew out. Looking at my nails now, he didn't clean any of the up and there's a super thin layer of acrylic around the nail on each finger. I can't run my fingers through my hair without them getting caught in the acrylic. I love the color and the square round shape but they are so messy looking while growing out. I'm thinking about giving them a second chance. Maybe they will redeem themselves. read more

Felt like a nail color change -if you know what I mean- girl was super nice but she "did not get in there" lol! Then, I realized she never buffed my nails! So my first visit here I had an hr and 15min to get a full set of acrylic and gel polish. In that time they put the acrylic on and did a very poor job shaping and cleaning up. I went to work for 4hrs then came back for them to finish. Another lady had to finish shaping and getting the acrylic off of my cuticles then the original techpolished. 1 week later I'm back because four of my nails have air bubbles under them that popped and guess what came out of them WET gel polish. Now I'm back for them to fix it (I requested a new technician but they still put me with the original technician despite my request). Today I've waited 20min at the front for a polish fix and wasn't even greeted upon entry. In short- I'm going to allow them to fix their mistake at no charge to me and I will NEVER be back. Going back to my favorite salon. That's what I get for tryna a newer place with "good" reviews. read more

My 15 year old and I went in on Tuesday and got gel and they talked me in to trying gel for my toes and tho I was annoyed by it at first, I am glad I did it! We enjoyed our experience and our nails are ready for vacation! HOWEVER.... I brought my 17 year old in yesterday and that experience was not good. She already had tips on but wanted a color change. They removed the tips and added them back and then changed her color while in the middle of doing her nails because it ran out. Her nails are super thick and lumpy. Not sure what happened but it was definitely NOT worth $50. We won't do that again. read more

Not the cleanest salon - was told to go to a chair, but when i arrived the chair was covered in nail clippings and acrylic powder from the last customer. When I mentioned it at check out, the receptionist said ok thank you. Unfortunately I wont be back and you should Probably find somewhere else too. Best pedicure I've ever gotten. All of the technicians at Modern Nails are so sweet, and do a great job. I've never gotten a bad pedicure there (only service I receive), but todays was the best ever! Ive been to this salon several times and all have been great experiences except for the last. I asked for a specific color SNS to replace two of my nails that had broken. The lady that did my nails used a color that was obviously way lighter than the original and when she asked me "is this the right color" I told her that "yes the number of the color was the same but it doesn't look right" yet she kept doing them and when she finished i told her a number of times that it wasn't right and she just argues and said "i told you that when I started." I'm not a nail technician so how am i supposed to know what they are supposed to look like before they are done? She wouldn't even attempt to fix them and just argued that it was my fault they were not right. Then she tried to charge me extra for "changing the shape" which i didn't do, i simply asked for the nails to all be filed a little shorter. I called the day before asking specifically how much it would be for what I wanted yet she argued with me and demanded that I pay more than I was told before. The other staff member at the front was extremely sweet about it and apologized and honestly the wrong nail color wouldn't have been that big of a deal to me if the woman was nicer about it and did not blame me for her mistake. Will definitely not be going back there. read more

A friend and I recently went for a pedicure at this spa. It was a great experience. The Decour was nice, the facility was very clean, and the employees were pleasant. The spa pedicure chairs were some of the best that I have ever been in. I got the royal pedicure and it included a hot stone calf and foot massage. All of the products smelled great, even through my face mask. I highly recommend this business to anyone and I plan to return in the near future. I thought that the prices were reasonable for the level of service that was provided. The employees seemed to be taking great care to keep the facility clean, and made sure to sanitize the massage chair controls as soon as I am was seated. It was not extremely crowded when I was there, and my friend and I were able to have easy conversation without being drowned out by lots of ambient noise or loud music. There were many services to choose from and I would like to return for some of those experiences soon. read more
