Next she told me to seat down and we started on our nails, she started shaping them and i told her i wanted them square but the lady started making them square roundish. so i asked her if she could fix it and she did next i was picking put my color and i was taking my time and she wasn't rude about it. When she started applying the color everything was looking fine until the finished product there was lumps and they didn't look good so i told her and she started taking everything off with an attitude she was buffin and filing my nails so aggressive and my aunt had to say something. So the place appears sanitary when you walk in... They even ask you to wash your hands before service... That's where the sanitary piece ends!!!! The pedicure chairs are completely disgusting! The little table that you pull out to put your items on while you're getting your service, was filthier than a two year olds table on a high chair!!!! Like there was sticky stuff all over it, it looks like it hadn't been wiped down in weeks... Like completely disgusting! I really don't know how you can let filth build up like that on a pedicure chair! The chair itself look like it was every bit of 20 years old... And each one of them were the same! The massage function did not work!... Like seriously yuck! I did check out the utensils to ensure that they were clean before I did proceed with my pedicure. The only reason why I stayed there was because I wasn't sure that there was another one close in distance that was open. Now I'm giving this to stars, because of the gentleman that did my pedicure. So I will first say, this was my very first time going to this nail salon and figured from the reviews it would be so worth the drive. My partner just recently received a little extra in his check and decided to take me to get my nails done. I wanted to keep it relatively budget friendly and still allow for the designs I like. After washing my hands and meeting the lady who was to do my nails at the sink I had really high expectations. They take me to the chair and I have three inspo pictures that I would like to know the price of. She looks at them all and says she will have to see which length and then can tell me the price range. I decided on a medium length and she expresses that it will be almost $100 for french with design. So, I asked about the nails with swirls and how much it would cost, she says $85-90. I had not heard of these prices and would not have came if had known, as they are quite high for pretty bad customer service. We ultimately decide on just doing french tips this length for $65. (This is after going back and forth with her as she said the french tip by itself would look bad.) Which again, quite high for no gel and just acrylic. She begins my nails and shes pretty quiet and I am just watching her work silently. She puts the colored acrylic down and I actually loved the color so figured to just skip out on the french because of earlier comments she had made. All was going well up until another nail tech came by and they were speaking to each other, when my nail tech decides to make a comment about my freckles. She asks, "Did you make those?" , I promptly responded yes, I did, with makeup. I think freckles are very beautiful and wish I had more so I made my own. They laughed a bit then she said something about her freckles, they laughed some more and she continued. I complimented on hers as to make sure she didn't feel in any way insulted by me drawing mine on , (some people see it as a means of making fun I suppose). So at this point its been around 2 hours and all I have had done is the acrylic base. At 5:45 a customer comes in and my tech gets up and says I will be right back, I need to do a design really quickly. Before I could even ask what she meant she was greeting the customer who walked in. Apparently she had an appointment that morning in which the nail tech charged and forgot to give her design, so she came back for an appointment at 6 pm. Now I dont know about you, but thats slightly insulting that this tech decided her time was more valuable than mine, though I arrived first and was literally in the middle of my nails. So she goes and works on this ladies FEET! No gloves. And then runs to bathroom in the middle of doing her feet. I did not see if she washed her hands but I am hopeful she did. This whole time I am sitting there while other techs are walking around doing other peoples nails who JUST came in and everyone just kind of left me to my own devices. I was about a second away from filing my own nails and leaving when she comes to me at 6:10 pm to say, only another minute. I wait, another 5-10 min go by. She then finishes the lady's feet, the lady gets up leaves, and then the tech realized she didnt finish so rushes out the door to grab her attention. She gets back in the chair and starts doing her toes again. I am pretty upset at this point and I am usually very understanding (work in customer service for upwards of 7 years now), but this was ridiculous as if my money, time, or consideration was not important. She finally finished after about 40 minutes and came back DIRECTLY TO ME, and did not wash her hands, or even put on a single glove, or sanitize. Oh man I was sick to my stomach but just wanted to get out of there with some kind of nail. She never apologizes but says thanks for my patience. I ask her to please make them look as natural as she can and continues to say she cant make them thin because they will break... I just wanted the acrylic on the top of my nail filed down enough to not look so thick. She finally gets to the design, and at this point shes pretty much doing the bare minimum to get my nails done. Never checked with me thru the process on if they looked ok to my liking or any of that. At the end when I asked her to add the evil eye symbol, she kept trying to sway me making faces and side comments about that and all in all made me super u comfortable in my choices. I absolutely cant stand my nails because they look literally nothing like I asked. I will most definitely never be going back here, and it sucks because the potential was definitely there. Just seems like a paying customer who WAS going to tip well , in case that was an unfair expectation that I wasn't, was not good enough for at least basic customer service. read more

I will say this is one of the prettiest and most hygienic nail salon I've been to. And they have HUNDREDS of color options. However, that's about where the good stops. The pedicure was decent but no where worth the price point. My sns manicure was terrible. I left with leftover sns and acetone all over my hands. No hand massage or anything. When the receptionist asked how things were and I replied with "fine" and I showed her the shape of my hands, my manicurist proceeded to file my skin trying to get acetone mix off. No stars! Yes, they have you wash your hands when you first get there--but why? The trays on the chairs were disgusting. But the VERY WORST PART-----THEY DON'T SANITIZE THEIR EQUIPMENT!!! The grossest part-after using the foot filer-she just rinsed it off and put back into her cart. All of the tools she used, came out of said cart-UNSANITIZED!!!! The Braselton highway salon has an amazing staff and always surpass expectations with their professionalism and skill in all of their salon services. Even when swamped, they always manage to make time for last minute appointment requests and walk ins. The entire staff make you feel welcome. They go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I went in on a Friday morning for a quick mani pedi. At first they couldn't accommodate me bc they were actually packed 15 minutes after they opened so I made an appt for later in the day. I went to my car about to leave and they said they were able to accommodate me. I only had about an hour and they had me in and out in less than an hour and my nails were cute- no shortcuts. I have moved from Grayson where I used the same Nail place for 10 years, to this side of Lawrenceville and was looking for a nail salon near my new home, I am an every 2 week nail and toes girl. As soon as I walked in they were very attentive and listened to what I needed and wanted. They suggested S&S and I tried it based on what I had before as well as I chose the OPI pedicure - The pedicure is incredible and included hot rocks and a 10 min back massage - not from a chair - but in a massage chair with one of the professionals this Pedicure is a MUST! The S&S was great but I decided it wasn't for me, I voiced my issues and they immediately suggested Gel, I changed to gel and for me it has worked out incredibly! They are very knowledgeable, personable and attentive and have gained a loyal customer. read more

It was ok...they don't serialize their equipment. They charge you $21 basic pedicure $31 for happy feet and $41 for Opi spa pedicure. I got the happy feet and I thought for sure there was gonna be more message action but no very minimal :(. The ladies are very nice but nothing special. I won't come back. This is one of the worst nails salons I have been to. The workers are rude and only talk to each other in their language. I asked for a certain nail and received the complete opposite of what I asked for. I also felt as if prices where being made up as the two workers talked to eachother. I was told one thing and then when I got to the counter told a more expensive price, when I actually didn't get what I had originally wanted and ended up with the basic instead. My nails look like shit and feel like shit. Cuticles were completely neglected. I will never go back to this scam they call a nail salon. read more
