This is a fantastic nail salon in a sea of available nail salons in the area. Anyone who complains- ignore them. The salon is well run ( and Ive been a small business owner) uber clean and very comfy- it seems that everything has been meticulously planned to provide the best customer experience. All the technicians work very hard to ensure that customers are completely satisfied ( which isn't exactly the norm today) AND the prices are VERY fair. This place sucks!!! Terrible customer service, the lady doing my nails was very impatient and clearly was frustrated when I asked to change my nail color (before she even started)!! They refused to cut my nails and told me it was because they were too short, but really they were just trying to up-charge me. I decided to advocate for myself at the end and let them know I was not satisfied and would like something to be fixed, they proceeded to basically lecture me and tell me it was my fault!!! I will never return to this nail salon. I have been going for about 6 months now for pedicures, they are under new management since the last time I had been there. Lynn is who has been doing my pedicures and she is amazing! However today, I just popped in whereas I normally make an appointment with Lynn. Timing just worked out that way today. Although she was there someone had actually called to make an appointment and would be there in 5 minutes, so I opted to use someone else. HUGE mistake. I usually do the $55 option and it last for an a hour or more, and I do this because Lynn is amazing. The basic is $30, then $40 then $55. So I opted for the $40 version as it includes callus remover. I work on my feet so they get pretty dry and cracked. Well as I had presumed, the pedicure was less than stellar and I had to ask for a harder massage. She then pulled out a tool to use as her hands aren't very strong. The pedicure was over in 35 minutes and no callus remover or pummus or grater was used to remove the dead skin. I went to the register to pay, and requested that they only charge me $30 instead of $40 as the callus remover was not utilized. The new owner/manager turned to ask Jenni if she did callus and she said she did. I've been doing pedicures every 2-3 weeks for over 30 years, I think I know. As if it wasn't enough to believe my word, he then started talking to what I assume is his wife and co owner, and they continued to talk in their native language for a solid minute. The female then tells me that everyone does callus remover different according to the need. I assure you, I needed it. She tells him just to do $30 and they then again start speaking n their native language for another minute, he looks perplexed and then has the audacity to ask me if I said anything to Jenni while she was doing my pedicure? She didn't speak to me while doing my pedicure so my assumption was she didn't speak very much English. Forgive me. But I am pretty sure the answer should have been from the get go, "oh my gosh, I'm so sorry your experience wasn't what you had hoped, absolutely not a problem!" Instead they literally kept putting it on me as if I should have to ask for something that I am paying for or is advertised. I finally had zero patience, I threw down $40 CASH, so no charge extra to them for credit card use, and said I would never be back! How ridiculous! Where is customer service anymore. You'd rather lose a customer who gets the $55 pedicure and leaves $80 than to just eat $10 for a shitty pedicure! Shame on you! ZERO STARS! Do not recommend! Thank you for lie of a response. The money was laid on the counter but blew off because you had the doors open instead of turning on the air conditioning. It was hot as hell in there. And for the record it is NOT my job to do your job!!! You KNOWING that I use Lynn, you should have as the owner, checked in to see how things were going!! It is your business, not mine! And I did NOT demand anything I requested that you honor the quality of your services or lack there of !!! Do not ONCE AGAIN try to place your failures on me. I'm not a nail girl but decided to treat myself to a gel manicure. The polish looks splotchy and my right hand was so sloppy that another lady told me to come back the next day and she would fix everything. Who has time for that? By friday, 3 days later, 2 of the nails polish lifted off! I don't get manicures often but I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen. read more

These nails broke like a tortilla chip failing to support the weight of guac. I have done SNS plenty of times, and NEVER had I had TWO NAILS break off within THREE DAYS of getting my nails done. Okay, you're thinking, maybe she was just too rough on her nails. NOPE. One broke off catching a tissue box while getting ready for my friend's wedding (which was WHY I got my nails done), and the other broke off putting on my shoe. I just... I cannot emphasize enough how terrible the nail quality was, and, considering how much I paid, I am pretty angry. For starters lol I sat with my feet "marinating" for so long that water went cold. The tools looked rinsed off I asked if they had been sanitized and the lady said yes. But they were clearly not clean. Foolishly I continued my visit on for the lady to unfold and turn her used gloves right side out. I asked her several time could she please get new gloves but she acted as if she couldn't understand English and smiled at me. I went here for a pedicure that was a scheduled appointment. It was within an hour of closing but came when they told me to. I was given a painful "dry" pedicure! I didn't understand why the tech didn't run the water like normal... just thought they had a new pre procedure before your foot soak. Not the case and when I asked about it the tech said you want water... and turned it on and splashed a few drops of water on my feet and then dried them off and charged me the full price for a pedicure. Never will I ever go here again and will not recommend anyone one else to either. If I could give them less than a single star I would. read more

I should have listened to reviews but I really wanted my nails done and Royal Lounge was booked so I decided to try this place. Bad idea. First, my two friends and I had an appt for 5pm. When we arrived we were standing up front for like 10-15 minutes. We signed in and they did check our temperatures. Which I didn't see them check anyone else's temperature after us because they might have been "regulars". We were getting pedicures and the water was super hot. Also the lady didn't put the plastic on correctly so all three of our chairs started making noise and they had to empty all of our water and re-do each pedicure chair for us. During SNS manicure Cindy didn't cut cuticles or anything. She rushed through my nails and feet. IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING MY NAILS, Cindy gets up and goes to paint another clients toes. Left me sitting for another 10 mins. She never said be right back or sorry or anything. That is very rude, especially when client came after me. The quality of the nails done here are horrible and expensive. This nail shop is overpriced and staff is rude. My friend was asking for her nails shorter and the young asian lady got mad and started filing her nails super fast like she had an attitude. Don't take the chance, listen to the reviews. read more

I've been here a couple of times and they do a pretty mediocre job. The location is very convenient and it looks nice. However, I feel like I ever get my nails done perfectly. This last time was my final straw. The man who did my nails was super aggressive and reluctant to listen to my concerns. He also made me wait an extra 45 mins because he no longer wanted to do my nails. I give it 2 stars because again in prior visits, I would've given them a 3.5 or 4. But past experiences joined with the recent rudeness, pain to my nails, and the wait dropped their ratings for me. If you're in the area, and you need your nails done, why not? I have never posted a review before because I thought only older people did, but this experience made me post one. I arrived at 11:45 to simply get acrylics removed. The first nail tech nicked my finger as shown in the picture and I expressed how it hurt and she got up and walked away and helped another customer. It took 20 minutes for someone else to come and help me. There is a huge communication barrier and I was told many different things, one being two different prices. It took almost an hour in total to finally get them removed and get someone to communicate with me. No one once apologized to buffing my nail down so much it basically it raw, and they still made me pay the more expensive price I was told. DO NOT GO HERE! read more
