I hired Biggs Moving in Brownsburg to move only the large and heavy furniture I could not move…read moremyself (couches/beds). The guys were very friendly, but when they finished all of our beds were missing screws and bolts. I found several pieces of hardware dropped on the ground as they were bringing in the parts of the bed and had to take them to the crew hoping they would be placed in the proper location of the appropriate bed. The screws and bolts were transported from one house to the other in the outside pocket of a backpack. They were not stored in a secure place to ensure that they were all accounted for. I contacted Marie and she claimed they would have the guys come back to fix the bed. I provided pictures and videos of the missing screws on each bed as well as the manual showing the appropriate hardware. After three days of the company promising to fix the issue, a bag from Lowes containing $4 of 1/4 flat speed nuts was dropped off on our porch. These are not compatible with any of our beds and do not resolve the issues in any way. When I informed Marie of this, they blamed me for the issue. I was told that the crew claimed the screws were missing before the move, which is absolutely not true. There are no longer enough screws left to hold my kid's bunkbed together. Instead of taking responsibility and making it right, I was offered $10-$15 dollars for my troubles, after being charged an extra 2 hours for the time they spent on the beds. I cannot imagine what would have happened if I hired them to move everything. I would highly recommend you do not hire this company.

Last week they loaded my sister's house into a truck to move to her new apartment. They emptied my deceased aunt's assisted living apartment into a truck that I then drove to another city. They are available on short notice, reasonably priced, incredibly conscientious and easy to work with. The crew is deaf and motivated and easy to communicate with you wouldn't believe it. But what really impressed me was how hard the crew worked to make up the time. They brought in additional people, hustled all day, and did everything they could to get us caught up. Everyone we worked with was polite and professional. There were a few minor issues with scuffs/chips to walls, baseboards, and flooring during the move. I reached out to the company, and while there was a brief delay in getting everything resolved (this is the height of moving season), they ultimately made everything right. They connected us directly with their handyman, who came out and repaired everything, going above and beyond and with a smile! There is no way the reviews on here are correct. I suspect they make the bad ones go away so I'll make sure to post this everywhere. My mom's group is full of stories like mine about Colt. There were 30+ negative versus 2 positive. Reviews on there state they break and ruin your shit then won't reimburse. I haven't filed a claim because I'm no where near done unpacking yet but I won't be shocked to get completely ignored like everyone else and if that happens, I'll go to the BBB and anywhere else I can... news.. wherever. We paid them a crap ton of money so this kind of damage is insane. NEVER EVER HAVE THEM PACK FOR YOU! They did not wrap any of our furniture. They put gouges and scraped up walls in our old house. They left trash all over our old house... soda cans, bottles... all kinds of crap. They packed **SIX** family photo canvases together in one box with zero packing paper so the frames rubbed on each other and ruined the pics. Who does that?! So much stuff ruined. It cost us almost $20k to move, I can't afford to replace this stuff they ruined! Please think twice and ask around before you use Colt Movers. Look in the Westfield chatter and moms groups. Ask around. Don't rely solely on these reviews that they can manipulate.
