I love this place and their food is actually really good!!! (when it's prepared correctly) Word for the wise- only order there in person and always check your food when they give it to you. This is now the second time I have ordered delivery from this restaurant, and both items on my order arrived incorrectly, on both orders! The first time we received our salads with no dressing and the most recent time one of our salads came with no protein, and the other one came with no goat cheese. Tender Greens was my go-to quick and healthy take out joint back in LA, so I was excited when I finally found what looked to be a comparable restaurant nearby, but they're on completely different levels. I've tried a couple different plates here, and must say I've been disappointed each time. The line caught tuna is served rare with a searing on the perimeter, and the portion is good, but the fish can be a little too chewy and not a fan of the sesame sauce (would prefer it with just oil + sea salt + lemon). I've had tuna seared rare that just kinda melts in your mouth as you bite and this falls short. I also tried the hand carved chicken once but it was rather dry and not very flavorful. The rice bed is more of a garnish, it's always super dry. The sweet potato mash is usually half lumpy and half smooth, too lumpy for my liking, but does taste nice. The most consistent things are the roasted veggies or the mixed greens salad with balsamic dressing. The warm food also gets cold super fast which is annoying. I'm all for sustainability at reasonable prices, but MME isn't much better than any other cafeteria-style buffet chain out there. Can't really recommend it unless your only other options are fast food junk, then you might be better off here, but otherwise would give it a pass. read more

This has become one of my favorite places to eat! The atmosphere is super casual, almost cafeteria like but the prices are more like sit-down slightly elevated dining, which could be off-putting. However, the proteins (roasted chicken is my favorite currently) are always perfectly seasoned and cooked, vegetables taste fresh and also perfectly prepared. The portion sizes are large enough to share or save half for your next meal. This is a healthy food-option that makes me feel happy and satiated after eating. Modern Market is perfect for my family. There's something here for everyone. My son adores their pizzas, my husband enjoys the bowls, and I like their soups and salads. They have an extensive menu and they're very flexible, allowing you to substitute or add ingredients to your dish. I love how much they cater to guests with allergies and dietary restrictions. I asked a question about a particular sauce and the customer service member pulled out a booklet and was able to answer my query in seconds! Impressive. In general the staff are friendly and helpful. If I had to complain at all, my veggies were a little cold. I think my bowl was sitting out for a while, waiting to be joined by the rest of our order. That aside, we'll be back soon! read more

I don't normally leave reviews but my service here was so excellent I wanted to! First of all, It's very hard for me to find a place that can cater to my dietary restrictions. I love that the menu clearly labeled all the dairy free options. When I had a question about allergens in an item, Stephen made sure to look it up the book. Usually I am met with a "no I don't think it has that in it" which is always discouraging and leaves me not feeling confident at all. Second, Stephen was just so kind and happy and joyous and honestly it was just so refreshing to experience that kind of enthusiasm. It is hard to find these days Lastly, the food was incredible. I've ordered to-go from Mod Market more times than I can count, but this is only the second time I've dined in... and the first time at this location. I'm a little torn and would have probably only rated 3.5 for this visit, but am open to revising if a future visit proves to be better. I went in for lunch on a Sunday after spending some time shopping nearby. This location is right in the middle of a busy part of Broomfield and is connected to many other restaurants and shops by parking lots; I guess the "designated" lot can get a little awkward, but there is plenty of parking if you don't mind walking the extra 50 feet or so. Ordering was very quick and easy and we were able to find a table without any trouble. Good sign. Since I'd been handling a bunch of stuff in stores, I decided to wash my hands before our meal was delivered to the table... one thing I always reeeeally appreciate about a place is the cleanliness of their restrooms... this was not the greatest and had definitely not been attended to in a while. Kinda unfortunate. After washing up and taking care to avoid needing to rewash my hands, I sat down at our table and my lunch date said that the gal that took our order was handling food for customers and eating at the same time, which was pretty off putting. The gentleman that brought our sandwiches out was very kind and had gloves on, so I'm cautiously optimistic that he made our meal and was also practicing food safety... Overall the sandwiches were pretty good and very filling. They both came with a side of potato chips, which we didn't know would happen, and we both only ended up eating half during lunch and boxed up the rest to take home. I usually really like Mod Market and I'll say the food was pretty on par with what I'm used to, but I can't help but feel like the dine in experience made me feel a little icky at points for the reasons mentioned above. read more

First we were not given a knife in 1 of the silverware rolls, so we asked kindly for 1 she rolled her eyes and asked someone to get one for her. Then 1 of the knives was visibly dirty. I didn't say anything but she noticed and stated it was just residue from the dishwasher. Absolutely unacceptable. If an employee knows that the silverware is not clean why would they not just wipe them down prior to sending them out. This is the 3rd time we have had issues here. They don't have traditional Coca-Cola or Pepsi products; you'll find their own brand of sodas made from pure sugar cane. They had a few lemonades: carrot, cucumber+mint, and regular. I'm looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu. Forgive me for not showing this beautifully constructed, optically pleasing ahi summer salad when I first got it. I was hungry and mesmerized by the beauty of this salad and was so eager to see if it was a delicious as it looked. And it absolutely is ! The tuna was seared in both sides and was sushi grade in the middle which was perfect! The fresh veggies were an pleasing compliment to the tuna. I absolutely love this place but I hate it that they always let the online orders get in the way of their in-person customers. I was waiting in line with my children for about 15 minutes before anyone came to acknowledge us or any other customer in line. The young lady behind the counter stated she could not take any orders due to the heavy online orders that were coming in. The rice or quinoa that came with it was extremely bad - very hard when I bit into it, I am surprised I did not chip a tooth. The veggies were meh - very overdone and cold. I used to enjoy this place now it is so sub-par, there is not reason to spend your $18 for lunch at this establishmentt. read more
