Everything from initial communication to execution was flawless. Awesome experience -- absolutely recommend!

We spent the whole night trying to print a document that we needed urgently the next day at 6:30am on a Saturday. The wonderful man who answered the phone helped us when we really needed it. He didn't make us feel dumb because of the situation we were in. He was incredibly kind, efficient, and profession. I am a physician and clinical director who works in high stress and life and death situations. I would definitely take these guys on my team any day. read more

I'm not sure if delivering Container Store shipments is new for them, but when I'm given a 4-hour delivery window from 12pm-4pm, I expect delivery within that window. They called at around 3:50pm to say that they are delivering my order but will be late -- possibly 4:15pm, if not then by 4:30pm. At 4:45pm, I called for an update was told it would be another 30 minutes. They finally showed up around 5:20pm - almost an hour and half after the delivery window time. The reason for two stars instead of one is because the woman on the phone was friendly and kept following up to see where the driver was to make sure that the delivery would be done. read more

Modern Express saved my bacon! I had sent an important package via UPS for Saturday delivery and they failed. It wasn't going to be delivered until Monday--which was too late! I called Modern Express on a Saturday night (10pm) and they set up a pick up for Sunday morning and delivered the package to my client before 10:30am. The courier was very personable- even texted me when it was delivered and the name of the person it was left with. Mo called me with updates and was so nice and easy to work with. Great customer service! They will always be my first call when I need a courier service. read more

Wonderful service!! I called after-hours for an early next day delivery need. They had an after hours call service. The person took all of the info about the delivery and said someone would call as soon as they got to the office. Sure enough I got a call at 5:30am and they were there for pick up by 6am. Package was delivered on time. Very smooth transaction, I would definitely hire again! read more

I was blown away at how good the customer service was from Mo. I had the wrong times for an event I was supposed to be at and I had 10 prizes to deliver. There was no way I was going to make it. Mo, not only went and picked up the gift cards, he delivered them on time and sent me an invoice later. A) he trusted me. B) he didn't hesitate at all C) he did it with the best attitude imaginable. I walked away feeling like this was the experience every person on Earth deserves when buying any product or service. I will use them and recommend them forever. Wow, very impressed. For my boss's 60th birthday a beautiful bouquet of flowers were delivered to her office, except she was not there (and won't be there for awhile). So I put the word out via Yelp's estimate request to have her flowers delivered to her at a meeting tomorrow and Mo from Modern was the first to respond (within minutes) AND he gave me what turned out to be the best quote (I know this because eventually other services responded with higher quotes). Some of the other services directed me to their websites to get an estimate or place the order, but Mo came up with a fast estimate on the phone and took my order at that time which made my life very easy. Highly recommended! read more

We had a rush job, and the folks at Modern Express Courier were wonderful. I didn't have all of the information (waiting on contact info for some of the documents), and they worked with me throughout the day to make sure someone could pick up the documents in time. We ended up having to delay and then cancel the order all together (for reasons completely unrelated to the courier service). However, the staff's flexibility and kindness were very appreciated. Next time we do need a courier, I will definitely be using these guys. read more

I used Modern Express Carrier to serve papers in a civil matter. They provided prompt and informative phone information, were very helpful when I was in their office, charged a reasonable rate for service, completed the job for service in Albany in about four hours, and had the proof of service completed when I returned to pick it up several days later. WOuld definitely recommend this carrier for this purpose. I could not have been happier. read more

Fast and reliable, organized and efficient. I liked how the woman who took our order repeated everything back to me to make sure the details were correct. I also liked the email confirmations, one for the order, one to confirm the pickup and one to confirm delivery. Would definitely use these folks again. read more

crazy busy student-worker here, so I never write reviews! Yet, the folks at Modern Mail Express offered such phenomenal customer service, that I am simply duty-bound to share this extraordinary company w/ other busy professionals. Here's what happened: I was busy trying to work all day & prepare at the same time for a fast-approaching trip to China. I couldn't keep going back & forth to SF to get all my passport/visa stuff taken care. So, I called Modern Mail to find out about their round-trip courier service options. Their ultra fast & pleasant customer care personnel took my order w/ gorgeous efficiency & then, literally, within minutes, the driver was at my office, collecting my package (cute & w/ nice smile too!). The most amazing part happened next; as it turned out, I made a mistake & enclosed a check as payment for my visa, which the Chinese embassy does not accept! Would you believe, in order to help me out, Mo (the driver that day & also the owner) actually paid cash for my visa out of his own pocket !!??? Had he not done this, I wouldn't have gotten my visa in time & would have missed my flight the next day - major disaster averted! Naturally, I paid Mo back the moment he returned to my office! In the mean time, I am forever changed; near religious experience; am converted back into a people-loving optimist all over again. I could not believe he, a perfect stranger to me up until that moment, would have gone so far out of his way to help me, his brand-new customer. You must experience this level of care to believe it. I am forever grateful. Thank God for people like Mo and for businesses like Modern Mail Express. If you travel a lot, get them in your speed dial! Oh, and omg, ridiculously reasonable rates! read more
