San Franciscan living in Australia, here. Have some friends back home who really need a pick-me-up, so ordered (and pre-paid) for a big box of deliciousness from B. Patisserie. Hired a Task Rabbit to pick them up and deliver them downtown. The Task Rabbit flakes and cancels the job. So, I frantically search for someone else who can help at the very last minute and come across glowing reviews for Dig Courier. It was the middle of the night in SF, so I submit instructions for the job on their Web site and send along payment. No way to confirm this is going to happen, but I hope for the best. Check my phone during my 4:00 am pee, and there's a note from Chris telling me that the job was completed on time and as requested. I called Dig late last Friday and spoke with Gordon. My request was a little unusual. I live in Philly and needed Dig to go to the Marin County Clerks office and have them pull a certified copy of my divorce certificate. After 10 years of being single, I didn't think I would ever need it. However, as luck would have it, I'm getting married and need to supply proof of divorce. Earlier that Friday, I corresponded with the clerk's office and obtained instructions on how to pull the certificate. I then forwarded the information to Dig for handling. On Monday, Dig went to the clerk's office and met my request with professionalism and expediency. My divorce certificate is in the mail with tracking information. Dig Courier has exceptional service and they made themselves available in a pinch! I was in the city on Labor Day and had a package to be delivered before I left that evening. Everyone I called was closed for the holiday. They were one of the few who answered my call. I spoke to Chris and although they were technically closed, he arranged for me to meet with one of his couriers and they helped me out on a holiday! Needed to get a laptop from SOMA to Marin County. Called Dig and they were reliable, honest, fair in their pricing ($56) and they got the job done by the time that was promised. Have since used them for other deliveries around the city. They offer you different pricing based on how soon you need the package to arrive - 2 hour or 4+ hours. Next day after they delivered, there were issues with my corporate card being declined. Gordon was pretty chill about it and left me some messages. Found out my pcard doesn't accept Square transactions. So make sure your card allows that. I'll always use these guys from here on. You should to. These guys rock! read more
