I was extremely dissapointed with DDT Delivery. We had agreed on a price and time a week in…read moreadvance. The night before, they try to raise the price. Then they never actually showed up because "we didn't confirm that morning", despite having discussed the night before. We have had to find an alternative the day of our move because DDT simply did not show up and they did not answer the phone. If you value your time and have to move, DDT is not the right company to hire.

DDT workers were very efficient, worked hard, and were very careful with our items. They packed…read moreeverything well and helped us set up things when we got to the new place. However, they arrived at 9:30 when we agreed upon an 8AM start time. And despite this inconvenience and the fact it pushed our day and move completely off, they still chose to stand firm on charging us full quoted price. They claimed that they were already giving a huge discount compared to other companies for their services but we felt that although that may be true, they completely disregarded the value of our time. We know this work is tough and things happen, however, we still felt that we should've had some sort of inconvenience fee given how much it threw off the rest of the day. We paid them because we did not feel like arguing after an early morning and believe in karma. But I would recommend you define the terms for if they arrive late before you agree to their services. We were highly disappointed in this lack of fairness and customer service. Based on that we will not hire this service again in the future and caution others who might want to hire them.

I called them at 2:00pm and they emailed me shortly to ask if I had everything together so they could pick it up. I needed a few more minutes. They arrived at my home at 3:00 and I gave them a check for $35.00 and my envelope. They drove it over to the East Bay and it got delivered by 4:00pm. I did not want to make that drive in commute time, and besides Lucy had a Vet appt and these were very important papers my CPA needed (no faxes allowed). VELOCITY COURIER SERVICES are very prompt, reliable, affordable when you need a package and/or envelope delivered in just a couple of hours. Totally recommend!

Almost 6 months and if I didn't do the initiative of getting an update, they will not call you. And do they part to investigate. There first excuse due to customs hold because of drugs in the Philippines. Second, because of earthquakes. Or call this person in local in the Philippines. Well, finally after i kept calling, it delivered and re taped. Obviously, it was opened and there were missing items. It has custom's inspections. But of course there's no drugs in the boxes. If customs removed some items, they could at least write it down. So who was did it? Andy from Los Angeles/XYZ gave me a number to call Ma'am Mil in Cagayan for update. It should be the other way around. Ma'am Mil should call me and provide an update why 3 boxes still at there warehouse for that long. I don't know, but i can't trust any shipping company in the Philippines. It so sad that my own fellow Filipino can't be trusted. Well for sure, i have 3 more boxes to be shipped. After this happened, i will not. I feel sorry for your company. There no respect to the people that save there money to buy all this stuff and it will be stolen. The service cannot be trusted. Very poor customer service. .
