The chip was significant and extremely noticeable, and I was in a complete panic. After calling my regular dentist and being told the soonest appointment was over two weeks away, I felt defeated and stressed. I called Dr. Facer's office just minutes after they opened, and from the very first interaction I was met with kindness and understanding. Jen at the front desk was so compassionate and helpful. To my relief and surprise, they were able to get me in the same day within just a few hours. Dr. Facer was absolutely amazing. Not only did he make time in his schedule to squeeze me in, but he treated me with such warmth and care that my anxiety was immediately eased. He was thorough, efficient, and incredibly detail oriented. When I looked in the mirror afterward, I was blown away. My tooth honestly looks even better than it did when it was first repaired nine years ago. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Facer and his entire staff. They are kind, understanding, professional, and even managed to make me laugh in the middle of what felt like a nightmare situation. They truly are lifesavers. He never talked to me about the results or gave me an interpretation or report of the findings. I wanted to use the CT scan results when I went to another dentist, however, no other dentist office can open the thumb drive I was given because it requires same CT software that Dr. Wong used. I couldn't find another dentist office that was capable of doing that so the test was just $500 down the drain with absolutely no benefit to me whatsoever. I will NEVER go back. I would give him 0 stars if I could. He referred me to another dentist that had a 40% negative patient rating. When I asked him if the dentist he was referring me to was good at cosmetic dentistry, his repeated response was the "he is a really nice guy". What an expensive waste of time. I arrived on time and was immediately attended to by a bevy of smiling faces, all so friendly and comforting. Brenda H. Set up the I V for the sedative, yeah, I choose to sleep through the procedure. Brenda definitely had done this before, the I V was painless. As we waited for the Dentist, Brenda showed me some of the supplies that would be used and explained the procedure. This was done in a very relaxed and calm manner, which helped soothe my nerves. Doctor Wilgus arrived and calmly explained what I should expect and how to care for my mouth afterwards. After the sedative was administered we talked for about a minute and I was out. My next recollection was waking after the procedure. Other then feeling a bit groggy, I experienced no pain. In the week following the procedure, today, I've experienced very little discomfort, I was really pleasantly surprised, the procedure I dreaded was over and it wasn't bad at all. That completely misrepresents the facts. He could have easily called me the next day and cleared the air. I am not interested in publicly hurting a man's career. But this has been on my mind, that if he hurts someone, I will feel guilty that I did not share this information. NOTE THAT HE DOES NOT ACTUALLY DENY HIS YELLING AND SCREAMING. Instead, he says "Yelling or inappropriate communication of any kind does not align with the environment we strive to provide for our patients and team members." Of course, it does not align with an environment that anyone would "strive to provide." No professional office would openly "strive to provide "an environment where a customer/patient is treated like that. It happened. There was at least one staff member who witnessed it. Plus the screaming was so loud, people in the lobby could have easily heard it. The man completely lost control. I raised the concerns in person at the time. His response is that the concerns should have been raised at the time. They were raised at the time. I quietly raised the issue that I have already signed a contract and put down a deposit. He went into a screaming rage. Really screaming. This is hardly someone who is happy to discuss any issues. There were witnesses, at least one other staff member in the room. Then he left the room and came back minutes later, screaming again. Even with a break, he could not get under control. He came back and showed me a ridiculous interpretation that the contract said all services must be completed in 30 days. (Of course, it really said that I had 30 days to accept the contract. ) I pointed out that the services could never be completed in 30 days. He responded "But you never made a deposit". His own records show that I had made a deposit immediately. This is not a guy who is happy to discuss any issues. It is a man out of control. There was another issue. A faulty CT scan, which he told me was a reason for a delay. Delays is his big thing. So I went to UCLA Health to get another CT scan. His CT scan was wrong. I was charged approximately $250 for an incorrect CT scan. But mistakes like that are possible and understandable. It's the losing of his temper that is why I am writing this review. There were other people in the office that day. They all saw it. A man who can lose control like that must have done it other times. My concern is that anesthesia is part of his treatment. That is a serious health risk. A man who can lose his tempter...if that happens during anesthesia, you're in serious trouble. Again, I don't want to mess with a man's profession. But I would feel guilty if he hurt someone, and I had not shared this information. He should have calmed down and contacted me and this could have been cleared up.

Why is she so amazing, you ask?? I have issues. I gag a lot. I forget to breathe. Perhaps, it is being at the dentist anxiety, IDK. I always feel embarrassed during and after my visits. I still visit the dentist every 6 months even though I have/had this issue. First of all Stacey is calm. If I start to get gaggy, she has me do yoga nose. It is a breathing technique that calms me down. The way that she uses that scraping utensil and the water tool are truly minimally invasive. Prior to Stacey, when the scraping part is occurring it just sounds so loud. The sound is my equivalent to nails on a chalkboard for me. It was a purely god awful sound. Stacy's technique does not come with these awful sound effects. She is calm. She makes me feel calm. She has a TV in the room that is on. It doesn't have sound, it is a way to distract one's self. I don't even need to look at it anymore. When there are chances to chat, we chat about travel. We love hearing about each other's adventures. You are probably thinking, this place cannot get any better.. Well it does. I love the office staff. As I was leaving yesterday, I shared some really great personal news. They all listened intently and cared about me. They clapped, and said they were so happy for me. I had a happy cry. I also love Dr. Liang. He also loves travelling.
