I was treated in 2021 by Omni when I got a crown on my lower rear molar. Last week (2025) the entire top half of the crown completely broke off leaving the tooth exposed. I called and requested that they look at the crown to see what happened, and they said I had to pay $100 just to have the defective crown examined. They told me there's no warranty at all on their crowns, even if it broke 1 week later!! A quality crown that is done correctly should last 15-20 years. Why go to a dentist that doesn't stand behind their work? I do not recommend. read more

My appointment was for two o'clock I waited about two hours while other people who arrived after me were called before me , the girl in the office kept looking at my file and putting it at the bottom of the pile she saw me look at her, but pretended like she didn't know what she was doing The dentist did not recommend me getting my cavities fixed. I told him I had cavities and he didn't even care. All he wanted was to charge me a whole lot for an exam and was supposed to call me for my cleaning. Amazing office and staff ! Received a referral from my general dentist to Endo Doctor. Loved that is was literally a 1 min walk and did not have to go through the process of calling and explaining the reason of my referral. The girls at the front desk are very attentive and I was immediately greeted as I entered the front door . The office was very clean and loved the small seating reception area. I was able to make an appointment without being pushed out weeks. They do offer Sunbit which is a great financing option and used that to pay for my copay. The Endodontist was amazing and the process was quick and easy . I did appreciate the fact that throughout the procedure he did stop to see how I was doing. I came here for my two crowns that fell out, an emergency for me they brought me in right away. And even after the temporary one were falling off they still served me with out an appointment. I had a horrible experience at this office and i will never return. I had a crown put on and it broke off after only a few months, sadly it could not be replaced. I had to have the roots of that crown removed in a very traumatic way. Now a year later i am not only still making payments on thier failed work but i found out from my new dentist that i have a gum infection from a portion of the roots still stuck in my gums. read more

If you need to get a root canal read this review. My son was seen at Oxnard Dentistry and Omni Dental which are sister offices. My son got a root canal initially at Oxnard Dentistry. The root canal failed. We were then directed to go to their sister office Omni Dental who retreated the root canal. The root canal is failing for the second time. I would suggest you see a specialist called an endodontist and save yourself the trouble. On top of this the crown they placed on top the tooth has become discolored after placing it over the tooth. read more

I've been trying to get my teeth cleaned for over a year. Made another cleaning appointment went in they did X-rays then they wanted to schedule another appointment for the cleaning. I've been doing this with them for over a year still no teeth cleaning. What is there problem.i just want my teeth cleaned. I will go elsewhere it's been too long. Oh and then it takes over a year for any type of approval for work to be done. My suggestion go somewhere that will schedule you for what you are needing done. I really have no idea where all these 5 star reviews are coming from! These people must have paid someone for them. I came here for a checkup a couple of years ago. They told me I needed to have a filling and 2 crowns placed. As it turns out, they did a great job of messing that up!! The next thing I know, they tell me I need to have 2 root canals done! I ended up going someplace else to get those done after everything that Omni has put me through at this point! I couldn't trust that they would do a good job with a root canal! From reading some of the reviews now, it turns out I was right and made the right choice. It was a total mistake coming here! I feel like all they want is your money and they will go out of their way to tell you that there's something wrong with your teeth where everything is just fine! I should have known when the dentist kept pushing me to get a night guard! I also thought it was strange that he said he would quit his job after I told him how much I sold my koi fish for! He kind of made a joke about selling koi for a living but I bet ya he was serious which proves even more that he would do anything for money. In my opinion, this is not a real dentist. So this is a real comment and I came here at first cause of my medi-cal to get "free" Deep cleaning and let me tell you I wish I never went here. I now have 4 holes in my gums at the pockets of some of my teeth and didn't realize how badly they messed me up until a month later. On top of that the holes have never grown back so I think it's messed up for life and I always have to clean food out of it and they even made me pay $250 when I only had 300 in my bank and thought it would be free. I was referred here through a friend who absolutely raves about this place, but I'm disappointed. I made an appointment online for emergency tooth pain due to a filling coming out. Got multiple texts and emails confirming my appointment. I get a call from the office the day of the appointment stating that they don't have any appointments available and they will need to reschedule me for several weeks out. When I asked why they have multiple (literally 6-8) appointments available online for that day, I was told that there was a "kink in the system that needs to be worked out". Maybe they should put a disclaimer on their website stating that the appointments won't actually be available, or they should take it down all together until said "kink" is worked out- instead of leaving patients high and dry looking for dental care. read more

Great dentist but the front office does not know what they are doing. They do not bill correctly they turn it around on you when you show up for a dentist appointment. They are constantly double billing you. It's exhausting I have to give up my dentist. read more

Yesterday I was scheduled for my root canal here, And the Lady that checked me in , must of had a bad Friday night?, as this was a Saturday so she says the bill for my procedure was $1,100.00 which I handed my card to her and ran it through and gave me the receipt to sign and gave me my copy, but before this I tried to have at least a little conversation with her, she acted as if I wasn't there!, Very rude, It's really to bad because everyone else in this dental office is very friendly with me and the Dr.s are too, but she should have to go! read more

Worst dental experience I've ever experienced. I came in for a tooth extraction and was told the Procedure would take 20min max. 3hrs later after the tooth broke into my gums and the dentist panicking making me feel scared and confused. (Mind you I had to pay $250 out of pocket and had no sedation what's so ever and was wide awake) He finally got all the pieces out stitched me up and I Left with a giant swollen face and as soon as I got home and the local medication wore off the pain was unbearable. I kept telling my husband it felt as if my jaw was broken. A miserable most hardest recovering week I have ever experienced with dental work. I finally ended up going to the ER because the jaw pain persists after a week from the dental nightmare. And had a CT scan done. Well turns out a I have a fractured jaw bone and have to go to an oral/facial surgeon. Would not recommend this place what's so ever read more

I can't say enough about Omni Dental. I recently had an emergency extraction, and needless to say I was a tad nervous. From the time I walked in, 'till the time I left was 30 minutes. Less discomfort than any filling I've had. Virtually painless and given the right amount of Novacaine, so no swollen or tingly feeling for hours after. No site trauma, excess bleeding or pain. I'm not sure why this place has 5 star reviews! I initially was in search of a new dentist and they were able to get me in for a cleaning before my wedding which was great but after that everything went downhill. I got a filling and two crowns done by this dentist (which until now I'm not sure if they were needed!) From the very first visit, the anesthesia would make me almost faint and it kept happening any time they would numb me. I was in so much pain and I've never experienced that before! After my second visit, I was never looking forward to going back because of how much pain the anesthesia caused. It would eventually go away though but still this was not normal for me! When they placed my filling in, I started to feel pain and I wasn't in pain before! They worked on the crowns next. My temporary one came out and I thought I was going to lose it because of how much pain that caused!! I went back the next day and they placed another temporary one. When I was asked what color of the crown I would like, I specifically said that I'd like something that matches my teeth but got an off color instead!!What I really disliked about this experience was constantly overhearing the doctor talking to other patients talking about how a filling or a crown can sometimes lead to a root canal and him telling me the same thing. It just seemed like it was mentioned too often (almost as if he knew one would already be needed). He also kept pressuring me for a night guard and I heard him mention that to every single other patient as well. I went to see an Endodontist today and they admitted that the filling and one of the crowns will now both need a root canal!! Seems like I wasted my time, money, and now healthy teeth here with his dentist! Never coming back here again. Stay away!! read more

The service at Omni Dental in Oxnard, has been excellent. The staff always go above and beyond with reminder text messages for upcoming appointments. I was terrified about receiving my dental work which included extractions, root canals and deep cleanings; due to a childhood dentist and numbing issues. I spoke with Dr. Kourosh Keihani, and he listened to all my concerns and came up with a plan. He discussed everything clearly and the work was amazing.
