My first hygienist was compassionate and helped ease any anxiety during the cleaning, did a wonderful job explaining step by step procedure. It had been years since my last cleaning elseware, and my first time at Ashwood and she was the reason I felt ok going back for the second part of the deep cleaning and amalgam filling replacement. Can't say the same for Victor the dentist who did the filling replacement. When back after the anesthetic wore off, crying from discomfort. He was unwilling to revise his work after clearly explaining what I am feeling. The way he would explain why he refused was very condescending and belittling. On top of all that, I can feel grinding down a tooth that didn't need any drilling. Now I have a throbbing migraine and toothache until I get to see my previous doctor. If could give the hygienist and office staff a separate rating of 5 stars, I certainly would.

Imagine your teeth chipping away only on one side. My husband always felt self-conscious about his smile. Hubby asked Dr. Wallace what he could do about his smile. Dr. Wallace gave him all new teeth. I do not know the technical terms.. idk if they are veneers or caps or?? Hubby's teeth were shaved down to little bits. Then the new teeth were put on over the former teeth. I don't know what this process is called, I simply call it amazing!! When I learn the words, I will update this review. Johnny, my hubby, smiles all of the time. This was a few years ago and this review is long overdue. Johnny also loves Matt Wallace's personality. They both love surfing and have a love of UFOs or X-files. Anyways, Matt Wallace is top notch. No, that's not all!!! Here is my story. My story is about Stacy. Stacy is THE MOST AMAZING DENTAL HYGENIST that ever walked the face of the earth. She only works there on Fridays, I believe. Why is she so amazing, you ask?? I have issues. I gag a lot. I forget to breathe. Perhaps, it is being at the dentist anxiety, IDK. I always feel embarrassed during and after my visits. I still visit the dentist every 6 months even though I have/had this issue. First of all Stacey is calm. If I start to get gaggy, she has me do yoga nose. It is a breathing technique that calms me down. The way that she uses that scraping utensil and the water tool are truly minimally invasive. Prior to Stacey, when the scraping part is occurring it just sounds so loud. The sound is my equivalent to nails on a chalkboard for me. It was a purely god awful sound. Stacy's technique does not come with these awful sound effects. She is calm. She makes me feel calm. She has a TV in the room that is on. It doesn't have sound, it is a way to distract one's self. I don't even need to look at it anymore. When there are chances to chat, we chat about travel. We love hearing about each other's adventures. You are probably thinking, this place cannot get any better.. Well it does. I love the office staff. As I was leaving yesterday, I shared some really great personal news. They all listened intently and cared about me. They clapped, and said they were so happy for me. I had a happy cry. I also love Dr. Liang. He also loves travelling. He is a kind dentist who checks in on me on my Friday visits. SIf you are searching for your new dentists and dental hygienists, this is THE place to go.

It's truly a great team of people in this office and if you're looking for an amazing dentist, you've got to give him a try. You won't be disappointed Update. Ok I just went again earlier today for what was supposed to be a final crown placement. Can you believe, he takes off the temp and is getting ready to place my permanent crown and it gets a crack in it. What's the first thing he does??? He tells me. That's right, he was so honest and understandable a bit surprised and frustrated. I was of course a little upset that I wasn't getting my crown finished but I'm just so impressed that his first reaction was to be totally honest and up front. I feel like maybe some dentists might have placed it and tried to patch it or fill it. (I hope I'm wrong) Anyway I just had to share. Sure I'm a bit inconvenienced now because I'll have to go back again, but, no question I'm happy he was straightforward and I'd rather go back a third time now and have it done right with the best quality crown.

I used to go to a biological dentist and then financially needed to switch to one who would directly bill my insurance. I was really happy with the cost and the quality of care. I didn't even feel like I was sacrificing anything. Dr. Ross was very knowledgeable and understanding about holistic lifestyles and concerns I had, which I deeply appreciated. He presented me with multiple options to choose from and shared the pros and cons of each. He was also the only dentist I found in the area who was willing to clean my teeth without X-rays during pregnancy. Then we scheduled the X-rays and other work postpartum, and everything worked out great. Clean office. Not that it matters, but the decorations are great and it's a peaceful atmosphere. The office staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, too. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

My experience with this dentist was the worst ever. I found him to be arrogant and disrespectful…read more He humiliated me in front of his staff by shrugging his shoulders after I asked him what could be done about the ill fitting bridge he placed in my mouth! When I explained I had been biting my tongue and my cheek, he told me "that's a soft tissue issue" and told me to go to a periodontist! From the minute he placed this bridge, I told him it was too big! It was uncomfortable and I felt like I had a wad of gum behind my front teeth, and it even flew out of my mouth at a Christmas party last year! I waited six months to see if it felt any better and when it did not, I went to another dentist for a consultation. He agreed the bridge did not fit well and even contacted Dr. Babbitt to see if he would refund my money so it could be done properly. Dr. Babbitt refused to give even a partial refund and believed his work was perfect. Now, almost one year later, I need a root canal on one of the abutment teeth because the bridge does not fit right and bacteria made its way inside. I have been in excruciating pain for two weeks now as I try to gather the money for a root canal and another bridge. Lastly, my roots were exposed and I noticed they were discolored. I was told by Dr. Babbitt this was caused by brushing too hard and that it was just discoloration. I was NEVER told that what was actually happening was that my roots were decaying due to dry mouth caused by daily use of Flonase! He even said that because you couldn't see my gums when I smile, it isn't something that needed to be fixed. Had he emphasized that my roots were decaying at an alarming rate and I would need to fix the problem sooner than later, I would have made that priority and NOT gotten the bridge that I really didn't need. Base your decision to see this dentist with whatever information you have, but beware that this could happen to you too, so choose wisely.
