Dr. Barker was great, letting me know ahead of each step what he was about to do. He made sure I was comfortable and not having pain and if so to raise my hand. I had three fillings done there and was in pain for two weeks straight; the experience left me feeling so stressed and violated that I was stuck in bed for a week. I decided to return to Insight Dentistry, this time, to the office in Downtown (I've been to their other Ventura location before), and I'm so glad I did. My first visit I was able to be seen very quickly and yes, I had an issue that would need to be addressed with a root canal and then a cap at my dentist. The first appointment for work was scheduled several weeks ahead of time- I get it they are busy and people had appointments before me. In a perfect world I would have liked to get started sooner but what is more important to me is getting it done correctly. I have only ever had one other root canal and that was at a dentist. Fyi - a root canal at an endodontist is way more involved - but that is what they specialize in.
