My daughter and son got their wisdom teeth, pulled appropriately six weeks ago. My son had a smooth transition after the surgery and never needed to return to Dr. Zarenkelk's office. My daughter on the hand had issues because one of her wisdom teeth was attached to her nasal cavity. She was in tremendous pain and new symptoms arise throughout. Therefore, we needed to return on three occasions. Every time we returned to see him he appeared, bothered and dismissed her pain at one point she was on a field trip in San Diego with her school and liquid started coming out from her wisdom teeth. I obviously was concerned I called the office and the office manager and the aide told me at espérate times that Dr. Zarenkelk gave instructions that my daughter, a minor should look for a oral surgeon in San Diego or she should go to the emergency room. I told them that she was on a field trip and reiterated that she's a minor and how did they expect her to do that? I said that she would be back by 6 PM and asked if there was any way that he could see her and make an exception in his office since her school was literally up the street, but they said he couldn't. I asked to speak with him directly . When he returned my call he said that he wasn't worried about it that she didn't have to go to the emergency room when I question why he gave those instructions to the office manager and the aid he disregarded it. He said the emergency room couldn't do anything for her anyway and they would refer her back to him. When he saw her, he said she was fine. Even though she continued to have pain. He just said she was on the mend all while my daughter continued to be in pain. The last time that we went to go see him he was very curt and appeared to be bothered that he had to see us again. He took a quick look in my daughters mouth and again stated that all the symptoms that she was feeling were normal. This is six weeks after the surgery she told him she had pain in her teeth, her cheek and in her nasal area. To the point where she could feel her heart beat pounding. He said that it probably wasn't related to the wisdom teeth and instructed us to go see her primary doctor. I questioned this and stated why if she didn't have these symptoms prior to getting her wisdom tooth extracted. He replied that it was unrelated. I then asked if her teeth continue to hurt when she should come back and see him. He looked bothered, and said one month or two, but she really should go see her primary because this is probably not related to her wisdom teeth. He demonstrated zero empathy towards her pain. He showed zero concern for the fact that she's still hurting. It was clear to me that he was bothered that we have had to return numerous times because more symptoms arose and the old symptoms had not cleared. I would not recommend this doctor at all, especially if they have issues. Don't expect him to show any concern or empathy towards your child.

May God help you if you ever need treatment from Dr. Siavash. My experience with him was…read morefrustrating and deeply disappointing, marked by substandard care, poor communication, and a complete disregard for a treatment plan that should have ensured a proper recovery with relative ease. Had he done what the ER doctor initially recommended when assessing my fractured mandible, I wouldn't be dealing with the complications I now face. On December 16, 2024, I suffered a fractured mandible and was initially treated at Saint John's Pleasant Valley Hospital. The ER physician diagnosed it as a clean break and informed me that it should have been easily corrected with an open reduction procedure. When I consulted Dr. Siavash on December 26, 2024, he ignored the recommended approach, instead describing my injury as "shattered"--a completely different diagnosis than what the ER physician had told me. For reasons I cannot comprehend, Dr. Siavash was completely against performing the open reduction procedure, even though it was the clear, logical, and medically sound approach to correcting my injury. Instead, he **wired my jaws together for four weeks**, ignoring the need to properly set the mandible at the fracture site. This decision led to predictable complications, including malunion and malocclusion--complications that should never have happened if he had followed a standard surgical approach. His consultation lasted only 8-12 minutes after I waited over two hours in the examination room to see him. Given the seriousness of my injury, I expected thorough attention and care, yet I received rushed, dismissive treatment. Even more shockingly, when I asked if he wanted my dental records before the operation, he dismissed the idea entirely and instead asked me to "just send a picture of me smiling." How does a trained maxillofacial surgeon ignore critical records and opt for a casual photo instead? This is jaw surgery, not a cosmetic consultation. Adding to my frustration, Dr. Siavash was the only option available to me through Ventura County Health Care Plan (VCHCP), meaning I had no opportunity to seek a second opinion within the network. Later, another surgeon's office informed me that Dr. Siavash doesn't even treat trauma-related injuries, raising serious concerns about why he was entrusted with my case in the first place. Because of his poorly executed treatment plan, I am now accruing additional billing expenses from VCHCP as I seek proper treatment to correct the avoidable damage his surgical approach caused. His refusal to perform the correct procedure resulted in lasting complications that never should have occurred. His negligence and unwillingness to follow the standard, medically recommended approach call into question his competency as a maxillofacial surgeon. The errors he made were not minor--they were completely avoidable, predictable, and unacceptable for a specialist in his field. No patient should ever have to endure such carelessness and disregard for their well-being. Dr. Siavash had every opportunity to fix my jaw correctly, and he failed. Instead of following the standard procedure, he ignored the best approach and left me with permanent complications. To put it simply, in golfer's terms, he had an easy putt to make, and he tried to sink it with a nine iron. At this point, I want my treatment to be managed by a different physician--one who understands the importance of proper jaw function and precision in surgical care. Given my experience, I firmly believe that Dr. Siavash should no longer be considered a trusted maxillofacial specialist within the Ventura County Health Care Plan (VCHCP). If you need a surgeon who prioritizes precision, thoroughness, and patient outcomes, I strongly urge you to seek an alternative specialist. Do not trust him with your care. He blew it and I am paying the price for his negligence, or worse.

One thing I noticed when I entered the building, was the noticeable stench of urine. (The office is right next to the bathrooms). I was asked to sit, and I sat there for 25 mins PAST my appointment time. No one spoke to me, no one advised me how much longer it would take. I finally got up and asked how much longer it was going to be. The 3 staff members looked clueless, and simply said the Dr. was in surgery and sometimes it runs long. I sat back down, and coincidentally, I was called up within minutes to be escorted to a treatment room. The nurse there was friendly, however, the dentist was NOT. He came in, didn't offer to shake hands, or introduce himself. He mumbled his last name, and sat down. As I explained my situation to him, he simply just stared at me - he looked annoyed. After I was done, he got up and said I needed a CT scan, and he left. I was shocked how unfriendly he was. Every dentist I've ever been to understands the importance of customer service! Especially for a new patient. I didn't like how I was treated, so I got up and left. He might have been the best dentist in the county, but he needs to work on his personal skills. I would definitely NOT recommend.

I came to Dr.Morissette after doing some research on mole removal. I found that he has a unique…read moreradio wave technology that leaves minimal scarring. The only Doctor to offer this in all of Ventura county! For my facial mole, scarring was a huge concern for me which led me to never remove it as I was told by dermatologists that they could "only cut it off" which would result in an unpredictable outcome and that "the scar would look worse than the actual mole". After doing more research on radio wave technology I decided to make an appointment for a consultation. Everyone in the office is not only welcoming but professional. The Doctor was very attentive and answered all of my questions. I then scheduled the procedure. The procedure went smoothly and virtually painless, with the help of anesthetic. I was given Silagen gel (scar cream and SPF) to use 3 days later. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. The first 3 days I just had to use Neosporin. The first 1-2 weeks I had some scabbing form, which is totally normal and expected. After the scabs healed, about 2 weeks post op, I looked like a totally different person. All my friends and family were shocked to see HOW GOOD "it" looked :). I am almost 30 years old so it was quite the change after so many years! After the procedure I went in for a 10 day post op appointment and a 6 week (what was supposed to be a month) post op appointment. All 4 appointments in total were wonderful and the staff was always accommodating with rescheduling and always got back to me in a timely manner. It's now 2 months post-op and my face continues to heal in that area. The Silagen gel which I apply twice daily has done wonders and each week I see an improvement in the smoothness and reduction in redness. With makeup on you can barely tell anything is there. The area is just a little pink but with continued use of the gel I know that it will get better and become even with my skin tone. I am SO SO SO SO happy that I went through with this procedure. I have more confidence and I feel more comfortable in every aspect of my life. If you have a facial mole that has been of concern and are hesitant to have it removed due to scarring, I highly recommend Dr.Morrisette and his special use of radio wave technology! BUT the most important thing is to take care of the area diligently, use the Silagen gel and SPF, and stay out of the sun! The sun is your enemy for scarring!

First off the receptionist is absolutely atrocious, she has no idea what she's talking about and makes you feel horrible. Dr. Morissette does what the patient wants not what's best for the patient. He is a doctor and should know what would be too large or two small for someone's face and doctors should guide the patient into a decision that makes sense. I also feel that he should have had an office visit with me before walking by the me in the surgery room telling me he was going to add a combination of implants size XL to my cheeks. I Never discussed this with him in an office visit!Unfortunately, everything that Dr. Morissette did turned out horrible, and I was botched I spent $12,000 and now it is hard for me to leave the house . Dr. Morissette is a very nice man but unfortunately I had an awful experience that I have to live for the rest of my life. The implants were taken out my my cheeks are bulging out from him stretching them so badly. I also was left with an elevated lip on the right hand side! He took away half of my lip! Made my upper lip volume much less than it was originally
