I've been going to Dr Wong for many years. I've had two implants. Plus many years of Teeth Cleanings The office staff is super in tune. Bianca, Cynthia, Nataly and Candis. Always making sure you never miss or forget an appointment read more

I went to Dr. Wong for a consult to replace a front and center upper bridge that has been loose for a very long time. Dr. Wong was beyond arrogant and condescending in his conversation with me. He ordered a CT scan that charged me $500. He never talked to me about the results or gave me an interpretation or report of the findings. I wanted to use the CT scan results when I went to another dentist, however, no other dentist office can open the thumb drive I was given because it requires same CT software that Dr. Wong used. I couldn't find another dentist office that was capable of doing that so the test was just $500 down the drain with absolutely no benefit to me whatsoever. I will NEVER go back. I would give him 0 stars if I could. He referred me to another dentist that had a 40% negative patient rating. When I asked him if the dentist he was referring me to was good at cosmetic dentistry, his repeated response was the "he is a really nice guy". What an expensive waste of time. Forewarned is forearmed. read more

The office staff works so well together. They are great communicators, organized and care. Whoever manages and trains them does an excellent job! I rarely see offices give this much attention and kindness to their clients. The periodontist was so kind, informative and made me feel comfortable. Would recommend! read more

Dr. Wong has been handling my case for almost 2yrs. He did a soft tissue augmentation for my bottom gums. It was due to never taking my lip piercing out. It made an indentation over the years and in 2023 I saw him on an emergency b/c when I was eating some chips b/c of my over bite it slit my gums. It was the worst experience I ever had in life, but going to him and his team made it the best. I started in the Ventura location, but recently visited the Santa Barbara one. If you ever need a periodontist he is your man. He and his team are the best!! Marleni was phenomenal! To say they have good customer service is an understatement. They really do treat you like family and I was lucky to have found them. Keep up the good work guys!! read more

How many can say they have the BEST dentist? I can actually say this. Trust me I am like everyone else and could do without seeing a dentist. From day one Dr. Wong and his staff did everything thing possible to make me feel comfortable . The office staff is excellent and patience and Dr Wong is amazing. This office comes HIGHLY recommended. There's no other dentist I would ever go to. I found my forever dentist and I will be a patient as long as he is in practice. THANK YOU Dr Wong and staff for always making me feel comfortable. read more

Dr. Wong removed a front tooth and did a bone graft in preparation for an implant. Thankfully based on my consultation comments he recommended sedation which made the procedure seamless. After a few months I had my implant post put in and he noted the bone grew well and it is day two and I have no pain, no discoloration no redness. He is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled professional. He listens and explains what he is doing and going to do. He also has a good sense of humor. His staff are kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and all appear to work very well together. Two other friends have had implants by Dr. Wong and were also completely satisfied read more

I was extremely sick in December, before covid 19 erupted. I had to cancel several appointments due to what I thought was a flu complicated with breathing issues, which would have made a teeth cleaning virtually impossible. Because of these issues, I needed to cancel a couple of appointments. Please be aware that they will nickel-and-dime you if you need to cancel, even if you are sick! I had been a regular here for a bit. I canceled the appointment well within their 48-hour time frame, due to what I thought was a flu complicated with breathing issues. They still charged me $100 cancellation fee. Wow, what kind of place does this when you are going through a crisis?!?! Unbelievable! Needless to say, I will not be returning here for any future dental needs. read more

Exceptionally professional and skilled, and exceptionally kind is how I would characterize Dr Jonathan Wong and his staff. Prior to my periodontal surgery, both Dr. Wong and his anesthesiologist, Dr. Alanes separately went over my medical history with me and they each answered any and all questions I had of them. Their detailed and careful approach prior to my surgery left me feeling comfortable and confident undergoing surgery. Following surgery, I was provided excellent post-op care and instruction. Any questions I had were answered readily and thoroughly with very individualized attention. Both as a patient of Dr. Wong's and as a retired nurse who has worked in the medical field for decades, I would without reservation recommend the periodontal services of Dr. Wong and his team. It is my firm opinion that choosing Dr. Wong as your periodontist is a choice very well made! read more

Very dissatisfied. I will not be returning. Extremely unprofessional staff. I expect more professionalism and courtesy from a dental practice than they had to offer. The staff has very little patience for patients, especially during these difficult times. read more

Amazing experience with dr. Wong!, thank you Nataly for the recommendation! As much as hate going to the dentist, everyone made it extremely comforting and I am extremely grateful for the patient care I was given. Wife needed a tooth extraction and an implant. With such a procedure, anyone would have anxiety. He was gentle and very professional with compassion and good bed side manner. Highly recommend him if you need dental work., read more

Modern office, modern techniques, professional staff and that's just the beginning. I was in pain and needed a tooth extracted. The original plan was to replace the molar with an implant. I was extremely nervous during the first visit. Not only did Dr. Wong calm my nerves he took the time to explain the entire procedure along with possible actions to take following the extraction. Since the extracted molar was the last tooth on the lower right side of my mouth I found that it didn't affect my chewing. I said, "I think I'll pass on the implant." There was no hard sell, he accepted and agreed with my decision. read more

Stay clear of Dr Wong. He does not know how to prescribe antibiotics appropriately and will only suggest Advil and Tylenol for prolonged and severe pain. He may (or not) be an excellent periodontist for routine patients. I was not routine. His staff calls you. And then he blames his staff for miscommunication. I suffered extreme pain and progressive infection resulting in maxillary, ethmoid and frontal sinusitis treated in ER after a tooth extraction. 2 months of pain, no sleep, weight loss, fevers, lost Xmas and New Years, as well as humiliating treatment. I am going to add that I am an RN and FNP. I am 70 yrs old and have never been treated with such neglect from a mutual professional in my life. Also, every dentist I have ever had has called me personally after a tooth extraction. The ER report says it all, then I was reprimanded for going to ER by "Dr. Death". I'm still processing the trauma months later. Unbelievable! Linda Conrad RN FNP read more

I have been extremely impressed with this practice. From the doctor (Dr Wong, taking my phone call on his personal cell on a Friday evening) to the receptionists, who have been very helpful and thorough, following through when needed. An extra shout out to Carlan, the surgical technician, who helped with my husband's bone graft. She has not only given her personal time to set our worries at rest, but has shown dedication and care beyond belief for her patients, and for that I am so thankful. read more

Dr Wong is amazing he performed a cosmetic gum procedure on my daughter and changed her life. She now has a million dollar smile. His expertise and experience made her procedure comfortable and painless. His warm and caring staff make every visit to the office easy and pleasant. Our appointments were always on time and they even have refreshments in the waiting room. I cannot thanks them enough for taking care of my daughter. I highly recommend this office.:) read more

Dr. Wong and his staff are "the Bee's knees" of surgical dentistry!! I've been a patient for three years plus and the professionalism of everyone is, in my opinion second to none, from when I walk in the door, to when I leave. Dr. Wong implanted a post (22 Sep) and to my surprise, it was very quick, which means to me that Dr.Wong & his staff (Bianca) are impeccably precise at what they do. Thank you for an awesome and quick experience!! read more

Dr Wong and his entire staff are extraordinary. Dr Wong explained what he had to fix my problem. I thought I was going to faint because it sounded off the chart painful. You know the pain cart you see in Dr's offices showing a scale from 1-10, well this sounded like it was an easy 20. I needed a tranquilizer to get me through the rest of the explanation (kidding). He said to trust him and that it would not hurt at all. How can cutting bone from my jaw not going to hurt? So the big day arrives and I brought a change of unmentionables just in case some unwanted major event occurs. He numbs me and he thinks it is enough. No way- hit me again. A little while later he says he is finished. Ummmmm huh? No pain? What the heck!! He said take some Advil if you need it and stay on a soft diet for a few days. Soooo there was no need for Advil and I was ready for some regular food within a day or two. Dr Wong is a miracle worker. I had several follow up visits and a few special cleanings during the year. The front office and back office did an excellent job dealing with the usual insurance stuff. They compliment each other and are a super great bunch of professionals. Dr Wong and his staff should be your go to dentist for surgery and periodontal work. Thank you Dr Wong and staff for a wonderful experience. Y'all rock!! read more

The staff is very accommodating, Dr. Wong is a real pro! With each care giver through the process, they and Dr. Wong explained every step of the way. They were also concerned with my comfort and reaction through otherwise painful procedures. Nothing fun about going to get dental work done, the atmosphere and people at Integrated Periodontics make it the best possible scenario. read more

I went to Dr. Wong for a gum graft because my dentist recommended him. Turns out his wife is my dentist. I found that quite unusual. I went in to get the gum graft and the front office told me I had to pay $1100 upfront even though my dental insurance covered 80%. Because I was out of network which they never told me beforehand . I proceeded with the gum graft and was told to take just tylenol. I left in horrible pain and called to explain how unbearable it was. He didn't offer me anything for pain and I had to beg him to help me. I couldn't eat, barely talk or sleep. I was concerned about infection because he didn't offer me antibiotics either. He said I didn't need them. I called again because I had to miss work because of the pain, he had me come in and didn't do anything except clip a stich. The stitches were cutting into my tongue causing horrible blisters. I left feeling no better. The graft looked like a tumor and infected. I then decided to go to another periodontist who got me in as an emergency. He said my mouth was infected and that the gum graft was no good and needed to be redone because of the poor work he did. I am so glad I found this new periodontist who actually cared. I highly recommend you go elsewhere and stay away from this Dr. Wong. He is not empathetic and only cares about money. read more

Dr Wong and all his staff are very nice. They all take their time to explain all options, possible outcomes, and answer all questions. I had a very bad experience with other dentist and they make me feel in good hands. He is honest and Jenny and Mary always try to accomodate my appointments since I have a long drive. Erica is also great and very gentle and considerate with my teeth sensitivity :) I absolutely recommend Dr Wong. I am very happy and thankful I found them. read more

THE MOST PAIN I HAVE EVER FELT IN MY LIFE! Do not use this "dentist". He almost killed me by not pulling my tooth correctly. I went for a simple extraction in order to replace the tooth with an implant. Dr. Wong MISSED A ROOT! I spent approx. 30 days in excruciating pain. I would call the office and they would say "It should heal in 3 days" but of course what really was happening was THEY MISSED A ROOT and it ABSCESSED and got so INFECTED that when I would brush my teeth WATER WOULD POUR OUT OF MY NOSE! I was in TERRIBLE pain. I could not leave the bed. I could not eat. I would literally pass out from the throbbing. I begged. I pleaded. They finally said to come in on XMAS eve and they took an x-ray. I will never forget the look on the dental assistant's face as she turned pale white as she looked at my x-ray. Dr. Wong HAD MISSED AN ENTIRE ROOT! I was unable to leave bed all of December, unable to work, in excruciating pain. THE MOST PAIN I HAVE EVER FELT IN MY LIFE! To add insult to injury because of the abscess, I could not get the implant I had went there for in the first place. The worst dental experience of my life. They did not offer any refund or even an apology! I could have gone to my regular dentist for a simple extraction-AND SAVED THOUSANDS! He only charges $90 for an extraction and then I could have gotten an implant. But Dr. Wong ruined my December, ruined my Christmas (I spent it alone in bed MOANING IN PAIN!). Dr. Wong proved to be totally incompetent and caused me the most suffering I have ever felt in my life. DO NOT USE THIS "Dentist". read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Wong! I was referred to him by a friend of mine when I found out I needed a graft. I was super nervous because I'm really sensitive to pain and have a phobia of dentists of any kind. First thing I noticed was the super friendly and professional staff. The office was decorated in a zen-like manner which put me at ease right away. The consult with Dr. Wong felt very comfortable, like I was talking to a good friend. He was very thorough in his examination and then gave me all my options on the different grafting techniques and what the pros and cons were. Since I'm a big baby when it comes to pain, I opted for the grafting technique that did not involve going to the roof of my mouth for a second surgical site. Only one surgical site for me! Afterwards, he and his staff informed of everything to expect and I got a follow up call at home to make sure I was ok. I have never had that level of attentiveness or concern from any doctor's office! Now the area I needed a graft in looks like I never needed one there in the first place! Dr. Wong was so good and his office such a dream to work with that I sent my mother from Wisconsin to get an implant from him. I would not allow anyone else to do surgery on my mother. And sure enough, the same level of excellence was experienced again! My mom's dentist in Wisconsin even stated that he wished Dr. Wong was in Wisconsin so he could refer all his patients to him! Do not waste your time going to anyone else. Dr. Wong and his office are really the best! read more

I am one of those terrified to go to the dentist. I needed gum surgery and was referred to Dr. Wong. Walking into his office for the first time felt like walking into a spa. It was calming. All staff at every appointment bent over backwards to help me get through this experience. I thought I would have some pain, since stiches were involved. Not so. Dr. Wong even has all of his weekend phone calls redirected to his cell. Now WHO DOES THAT? He just called me today after only 5 days and asked how I was doing. I love these guys, every last one of them and would highly recommend Dr. Wong for surgery. read more

I'm so sad i just came across Dr. Wong's page on here! I seriously can not say enough good things about this man or praise him enough for everything he did for me! Though my procedures with Dr. Wong were a few years ago, i still cant get over what a great experience it was! All my life i had messed up teeth, from weird braces, to retainers with "flipper" teeth on them, to missing teeth, to a weird little cone-like looking tooth, i went through it all! Finally at 18 i was able to get my braces removed which meant i was ready for the next step of what seemed like a long and expensive road ahead of me with my teeth. I was so scared of what the treatment plan would be and if id ever be able to afford it. Mind you, i was doing this all on my own! After my braces were removed i was referred to Dr. Wong. I went in for my first appointment all by my little ole' self. As soon as i walked in i felt a sense of relief! His office is state of the art! And down right beautiful! So relaxing. His receptionist at the time (Elisa - super sweet) welcomed me and made me feel right at home! After that i met with Dr. Wong and he looked over my teeth and began explaining the process of fixing the areas i needed fixed. I had two gaps in the front of my mouth, worst place right, one gap didn't have a tooth, the other had that weird cone-like tooth in it. He explained what we would have to do in order to make my gum line look the way it should because it came down too far on one side, which meant bone graphing, after all that was said and done, i would also need an implant on one side, and a Maryland bridge on the other, sounds like a lot right? well it scared the crap out of me too! haha. But because of how professional Dr. Wong was about this entire situation and his envy of me for deciding to go through this process with out my parents help, helped me decide that his treatment plan was the best route to go! I had my heart set on finally fixing my teeth and having confidence! All of my appointments went as planned. His staff did everything they could to keep me comfortable. He made many calls outside of working hours and even from his personal phone just to make sure i was doing okay after each and every surgery i had with him! He also worked side by side with my regular dentist (Dr. Valdez) to make sure my treatment plan continued on as it should. Not to mention, years later after the procedures are all said and done with i had an issue with my implant (my own fault, i shouldn't have bit into the apple haha!) I called Dr. Wong and he had me come right in so he could check it out! He has an impressive, extensive background. Hes a very knowledgeable man whose also personable, which is huge to me! With out him, id never have gone through this process. Like i said, i can not thank you and your team enough!!! Id recommend him to anyone i know!! read more

As a patient with advanced gum disease, gum health is critical. The care and attention to detail by Dr. Wong and his entire staff is exceptional! The cost of care is affordable and they do not try to upsell you on procedures that you don't need or won't help. Dr. Wong, his technicians and administrative staff are outstanding! The level of knowledge and education by this practice is cutting edge and impressive. Having relocated recently, I have experienced both good and bad dental care. This practice is like visiting with a friend. The office is tastefully decorated and welcoming. The view from the chair is terrific. Easy to find, easy to park. Near by all those other errands you have to run! If you're not a patient of Dr. Wong's, you are missing out on the best gum care in the county! read more
