I came to Dr.Morissette after doing some research on mole removal. I found that he has a unique…read moreradio wave technology that leaves minimal scarring. The only Doctor to offer this in all of Ventura county! For my facial mole, scarring was a huge concern for me which led me to never remove it as I was told by dermatologists that they could "only cut it off" which would result in an unpredictable outcome and that "the scar would look worse than the actual mole". After doing more research on radio wave technology I decided to make an appointment for a consultation. Everyone in the office is not only welcoming but professional. The Doctor was very attentive and answered all of my questions. I then scheduled the procedure. The procedure went smoothly and virtually painless, with the help of anesthetic. I was given Silagen gel (scar cream and SPF) to use 3 days later. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. The first 3 days I just had to use Neosporin. The first 1-2 weeks I had some scabbing form, which is totally normal and expected. After the scabs healed, about 2 weeks post op, I looked like a totally different person. All my friends and family were shocked to see HOW GOOD "it" looked :). I am almost 30 years old so it was quite the change after so many years! After the procedure I went in for a 10 day post op appointment and a 6 week (what was supposed to be a month) post op appointment. All 4 appointments in total were wonderful and the staff was always accommodating with rescheduling and always got back to me in a timely manner. It's now 2 months post-op and my face continues to heal in that area. The Silagen gel which I apply twice daily has done wonders and each week I see an improvement in the smoothness and reduction in redness. With makeup on you can barely tell anything is there. The area is just a little pink but with continued use of the gel I know that it will get better and become even with my skin tone. I am SO SO SO SO happy that I went through with this procedure. I have more confidence and I feel more comfortable in every aspect of my life. If you have a facial mole that has been of concern and are hesitant to have it removed due to scarring, I highly recommend Dr.Morrisette and his special use of radio wave technology! BUT the most important thing is to take care of the area diligently, use the Silagen gel and SPF, and stay out of the sun! The sun is your enemy for scarring!

My experience with Dr. Morissette was hideous! He & his receptionist does not do what is best for…read morethe patient. First off the receptionist is absolutely atrocious, she has no idea what she's talking about and makes you feel horrible. Dr. Morissette does what the patient wants not what's best for the patient. He is a doctor and should know what would be too large or two small for someone's face and doctors should guide the patient into a decision that makes sense. I also feel that he should have had an office visit with me before walking by the me in the surgery room telling me he was going to add a combination of implants size XL to my cheeks. I Never discussed this with him in an office visit!Unfortunately, everything that Dr. Morissette did turned out horrible, and I was botched I spent $12,000 and now it is hard for me to leave the house . Dr. Morissette is a very nice man but unfortunately I had an awful experience that I have to live for the rest of my life. The implants were taken out my my cheeks are bulging out from him stretching them so badly. I also was left with an elevated lip on the right hand side! He took away half of my lip! Made my upper lip volume much less than it was originally

I usually give good reviews. I don't enjoy wasting my time throwing stones at people, but this…read moredoctor earned every word of this one. I waited an hour to be seen, and when he finally walked in, he brought an attitude with him that could sour the wallpaper. No bedside manner, no warmth, no real concern--just arrogance and impatience. Then, without warning, he poked and pushed on my abdomen like I was a piece of equipment on his workbench. The whole office had the same strange, negative atmosphere. He also seemed very eager to push medications, almost like the drugs owed him money. I can't tell you how good of a surgeon he is. Maybe he's brilliant with a scalpel. But medicine is supposed to involve more than cutting and prescribing. Compassion matters. Listening matters. Treating people like human beings matters. And the icing on the cake? His written version of what happened didn't exactly match my experience. That's a problem. Maybe he's a great surgeon. Maybe he isn't. I only know that after meeting him, I'd rather roll the dice somewhere else. Worst doctor I've ever had the unpleasant experience of meeting. If you're looking for a doctor, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Dr. Eisner recently saved my life. Emergency small bowel surgery. Can't say better than that!read more

I had my surgery on February 18, 2022, yes, I waited a year to write a review. I want to write my…read moreyear experience from when I got it until a year later and let everyone know how it went. When I first went to my consultation in January of 2022, I went there to see what they could do and offer. I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff. From Ann to Dr. Hodnett. I felt comfortable but I was still a bit nervous. I can honestly say I almost canceled my surgery day. I'm glad I didn't. I decided on a mommy makeover. I got a quote that was just right. Ann explained everything that was on the bill. She guided me through the financial process. Now here is the process of the surgery. I got there early in the morning, on time, of course. I was still a bit nervous and joked to Dr. Hodnett that I was ready to run out. He joked back and said they can catch me. The nurses were very nice, knowledgeable, understanding, and friendly. I was taken to the operating room and honestly, I do not remember after that. They knocked me out with some good drugs. When I woke up, I was in so much pain. I'm not going to sugarcoat anything. It's very painful. Make sure you have the painkillers you are given before surgery. At home, I made sure I had a nice area to sit and recover. I keep my place clean. I drank water, had jello, and apple sauce. I didn't have much of an appetite. I was in so much pain. That is something you need to be aware of it. the next day you have to go in for your appointment. That was so painful to walk in there. The recovery was a lot of work. The lack of a shower was also very challenging. I suggest finding ways to keep yourself clean. I myself didn't have any complications. I followed every order I was given. That is very important to do and follow. Your health is very important. I have some pain here and there. If you read the paperwork, it says you might still get pain. After around 3 months I was pretty much normal and ready to start enjoying my new body. I suggest not doing heavy lifting in your first year. I have zero regrets and YES, I would do it again. My only regret is not getting my breast implants a little bigger. I can always go back. These kinds of surgeries are not easy and it's something you want to think about before doing it. I can guarantee you that it will be worth it. Ask as many questions as they will answer every one of them. I will not leave out the girl at the front desk. They are awesome! They are always there to help you with all your appointments. Thanks to all the Oxnard Staff for a wonderful experience. I will always be ready for yet another surgery with Dr. Hodnett. Words don't express how grateful I am.
