Oh my pepperoni!! This place is so awesome!! I don't know where else to get pizza like this that I actually like, that is closer than Jackson Hole or doesn't makes me drive to some downtown in-the-know hipster hole in the wall. I'm kind of freaking out really. It's something new that Bountiful/Centerville/ WX area has never had. This is exciting! And the best part, it's delicious and affordable! The menu has pizzas you can choose from as well as build your own. Each topping is FREE. No additional charge. There are so many options including and beyond the usual pepperoni, green pepper, olives and red sauce. There's white sauce, pesto a few more. There's almost 20 toppings like roasted broccoli, cilantro, tomatoes, jalapeños. There's like 6 or more different kinds of cheeses and finishing sauce you can have them drizzle on top. I got the mini (6") Dominic. It had white sauce, asiago, fresh chopped basil, red onion, sliced tomatoes, mild sausage. I enjoyed every single bite. My husband got the MOD (11")Mad Dog. It had mozzarella, pepperoni, mild sausage, ground beef, red sauce. He said he'd get it again. We got our 3 year old a 6" with random toppings she likes; broccoli, mozzarella, olives, pepperoni, green peppers. She enjoyed it as well! This place was packed and bustling. Yet we were still able to find a place to sit. We got through the long line very quickly and our pizzas were ready with 5 minutes of sitting down. As we went through the line I was watching seamless teamwork happen. They were communicating incredibly well. We got down to the end of the line and pulled a quick one. Yeah, we were those people. We decided we wanted to add garlic strips and ranch to our order. The orders from customers behind us were flooding down as we were standing there, but they were able to communicate to the front of the line and catch it all up with our order. Pulling a stunt anywhere else would have been disastrous. They kept it together, everything was correct and it all came out at the same time. It was so awesome to see such good teamwork and good training. Brilliant! I can't wait to go back! I actually can't believe I haven't been back. Its. Been 2 weeks! I'm dying here hah! Our make our own salad and pizza was amazing. They have everything from meat lovers to vegan. The milkshakes are tasty AND tonight they donated half of the proceeds to Peter Howey's family. Peter was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident recently in our community. MODPizza stepped up. I will be back. Employees were bickering and my pizza was made way after I ordered it. Originally made on a kid size crust. That would have been ok but I already paid for the regular size. Employees are super friendly and helpful. Picking your own pizza was a great option. I was so excited to go to this new pizza place! They have a few of their pizzas you can order or, do it subway style and make your own. The wait is generally fast 10-15 minutes depending on the line. The place itself is really cute, clean, and nicely decorated. And you seat yourself. The worker that helped us was super nice and patient, and the rest of the employees seemed friendly. The toppings and the meat were really quality. But what makes this a 3 star review is the CRUST. They make it a very thin style(not delicious thin and crispy), but more like a thick tortilla. Not sure who started the made fresh right in front you concept for pizza but I've tried multiple pizza franchises with a similar model throughout Utah. I would say there's nothing unique about Mod compared to other places. You get to build a custom pizza with your choice of toppings and crust or select a prebuilt flavor from the menu. Lots of ingredients to choose from and a variety of cheese and oils to top off the pizza. The space is nice and the wait wasn't long. I came with a group of more than 5 people and we all received our pizzas fairly quick. The staff was friendly too. It's great for this area of Woods Cross to be booming with new restaurants. read more

I really love your thin crust pizza pies. They remind me of an old pizza joint that was my ultimate favorite 30-40 years ago when I was growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada. The name of the place was Shakey's Pizza Parlor and offered, in my opinion, the best pizza pie in Sin City. Anyhow, the concept of making your very own personal pie with your own imagination as well as to really make it to show your personality is revolutionary. Pizza Studio, Pizza Rev, Blaze Pizza and now this, MOD Pizza, yet another entry into the Chipotle-style speed food construction, only applied to pizza. All of them work to varying degrees, but overall, I'd put this one at the top in terms of sauce and toppings and hence, overall value. Pizza Studio has the better crusts. Drink selection so far has been best at Pizza Rev, which is also its main (and possibly sole) redeeming quality. Pizzas here are of pretty respectable size and this one is clearly meant to be a more customer-driven place, as far as the respective toppings. Drink selection is pretty questionable, however. The real problem here is not the food but rather that this place is driven by chaos, with bottlenecks happening constantly, starting with entering in the facility. From there, multiple pizza orders will cause havoc, then to the soda fountains and it's all so much of a free-for-all. Like communal seating? You may be alone in that and I really wish Utah would give up on that idea because here it truly becomes unworkable, with everyone wanting space and a lot of waiting for somewhere to sit where patrons are using up a disproportionate amount of room. It seems this place is relatively new and that part might mellow out a bit, but until it does, my interest in going here is minimal at best, despite me liking the pizza better overall. Chairs are also not particularly comfortable, which is good, in a way, as if people were spending a greater amount of time here than normal, you'd probably see people standing and eating or more likely, since the pizza isn't that wonderful, just going somewhere else. read more

We waited in line for 30 minutes to order, while watching and the employees make health code violation after health code violation. My favorite item on the whole menu is the "no name cake" seriously good. Don't go there without trying it. We tried MOD pizza on a whim and we are glad we did! The staff is super friendly - who pays people to be door greeters at a fast serve restaurant nowadays? The menu is very overwhelming. But take a deep breath - they are just suggestions for some interesting flavors. You can build your own with 3 options of sauce and all the toppings you want. The first time we came we went with the menu and got some of their combinations. The second time we made our own. I had chicken, bacon, mushroom, tomato, basil and finished with balmasic glaze. Amazing! Hubby had meat lovers and added some peppers and kalamata olives. Kiddo had pepperoni and broccoli (yes, a weirdo) and all of us enjoyed our own creations more than the suggested combinations - but to each their own. We had a salad the first time and it had some salami, chicken, and other yummy toppings. The second time we opted for the garlic strips - which were gone in about 1 minute - so fast I hardly remember they were there. We also tried the no name cake with I expected would taste like a Ding Dong - and it did but it had more flavor and not as dry as its Hostess counterpart. The pizza crust is super thin - like a tortilla - but still full of flavor. We enjoyed folding our pizzas in half and eating them that way versus the normal Western American style. Took the family here for lunch and found out that they haven't even opened yet. The whole staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. Took the squad to MOD. The pizza is really good, family loves it! Lots of toppings to choose from to design your own pizza or you can select from the menu options. The employees are nice and explain everything if you don't know the process. Our favorite (this week) is the Caspian because it's BBQ. The place is nice and modern but I feel it's small as it does fill up quickly when busy. There are tables outside and you can get take-out. Everything in this area is new so it's still clean. My only 2 issues: the drink area is very small and cluttered with trash, and I feel they under cook the pizza because the cheese is barely melted. I like my pizza little more cooked so the cheese is browning - next time I will ask if they can do that. read more
