I finally got the chance to check this place out today. I feel like I should have checked it out sooner because it is AMAZING. Not only is this place affordable, but they offer GLUTEN FREE options that are EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD!! Everything is fresh, and came out perfectly, as I had ordered it. They have a suggestions board for topping combinations, but you can create whatever you want in terms of toppings, and the pizza is still THE SAME PRICE! In addition, the staff is happy, friendly, and wants to be there and it shows. The restaurant is clean, and neat, and they even have sharing plates on all the tables. I also like the fact that they sell thick, fresh, homemade tasting milkshakes in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. They were also offering a blueberry cheesecake flavor which sounded amazing. We stuck with the chocolate and were impressed with the thickness and quality, and felt it was worth the price! I opted for a coca-cola, which they had in the vintage style bottles. While we didn't try any of their salads (which they can turn into a pizza!) or their dessert options (I suggested they make something gluten free in the future). My overall experience was pleasant and enjoyable. I think I found my new local spot, and as the founder of a social organization, I will be suggesting, and holding events with my girls here! Love love love this pizza place as a cheap option to create your own! I frequent here as a go-to with friends or family for a filling lunch. I really enjoy the set up where the customer can see the ingredients in front of them and choose whatever they would like to go on their pie. The MOD size is perfect for me and sometimes I even have leftovers! I'm a fan of the pesto sauce, and the balsamic glaze at the end is a unique touch. It's like a Subway but with only pizza and salad. Plenty of topping choices and it bakes really fast. Three size choices. Only thing is that I wish they had a choice of different crust ,but I guess if you want it to bake fast, thin crust is the way to go. The pizza was good. The food was great , I saw my food being prepared and that was awesome.! What I was unsatisfied about was I could hear some of the employees speaking negatively about one of the other workers but from what I saw she was one of the few people actually being attentive to customers. This was not only unprofessional but rude and generally ignorant. The pizzas cook in a very hot pizza oven that cooks them very quickly. The crust is thin and crispy, but not as thin as the crust at Jules Pizza. It's light but sturdy enough to support multiple toppings. It's a nice break from traditional doughy crust. As other reviewers have commented, MOD works like Chipolte, only for pizza. One picks their pizza size, then begins the customization, from sauces, meats, veggies, cheeses to finishing drizzles. ( The pesto drizzle is great!) Anything goes regarding toppings, in any combination, for one price. They also serve salads as meals or as sides. Dessert options are sweetened and flavored pizza dough strips or milkshakes. Wife and I finally made it in here for lunch after talking about it for six months. There are just so many pizza places around that it's hard to justify trying a chain sometimes. Being the first time there, we both ordered "classic" pizzas; my wife had the Mad Dog and I chose the Calexico. I was more impressed with hers. Fulfilling but pricy: I ordered a mega pizza, which was good and can probably feed two. My wife ordered a Mod and my lil man ordered, the mini. We also ordered the garlic bread, which were good but very thin. The customer service was good and the restaurant was clean. When looking at the bill and the amount of food, I wonder why I just paid $12 for a personal pizza and I could have fed my whole family with a pizza from another spot for the same amount? Overall good restaurant not a top 5 pizza spot. MOD should definitely step up their sides. read more

Love this place! They're fast and friendly and absolutely delicious. I love their create your own salads and pizzas a bunch of times. I love the honey lime dressing and the roasted garlic! I'm not a huge fan of their portion differentials for the smallest salad. Sometimes it's a decent size and sometimes it is barely a small bowl. The inconsistency at all their locations forces me to always get the middle one. Regardless of this- the pizzas are delicious and so are the salads and I'll keep going back! read more

I've been wanting to try this place for some time now, and it mostly lived up to its expectation. The staff was a little rude. I asked how much a small salad was cause I couldn't find a price, and the response from the girl at the counter was "as much as the other salads"... I asked because I couldn't find a price lol. She finally tells me. I ordered the Crosby pizza. It was good. I subbed the sausage for bacon and they had no problem with that. They did forget to add the fig glaze that comes on it, but when we brought it to their attention they had no problem fixing it. My fiancée did a CYO pizza and that was good. We love this place! For less than $8 you get a good sized personal pizza with unlimited toppings. Everything we've eaten here is fresh and delicious. Mod is similar to the way Qdoba or Chipotle works, all the ingredients are laid out in front of you and you choose what you want as you go to top your thin crust pizza (again though, no additional costs even if you load up on toppings like I usually do). Service is fast, you don't wait very long by the time you've paid to the time your pizza flies out of the oven. You can choose some nice finishing touches to top off your pizza after it's out of the oven (my wife is partial to the Sriracha ranch drizzle). I went here for a lunch date with my wife. They have an excellent pizza selection and I love that they have a gluten free option. We got a Kacey (roasted Brussels, gorganzola, fig drizzle) Lucy Sunshine (artichoke, garlic) garlic strips and a deluxe salad. The pizzas and garlic strips were very tasty and the flavors were well balanced. I could tell that I would have loved the salad, but the spring mix that they put it on was slimy, which was really gross.
