Need a quick and tasty lunch?? Here is the place. I only have half an hr to grab my lunch while feeding my little 1.5yo todd. I places an order and wait and eat within 25mins. Food came out super fast and freshly made! However, I think their caesar salad added a bit too much sauce. If they lessen the amount of sauce, I believe it will be delicious. This Mod Pizza is located in the Willow Grove Pointe Shopping Center on Welsh Road in Willow Grove PA. This is a perfect place to stop for a quick bite if you're in the mood for pizza. What I like about Mod is, you can choose your own toppings or get it as is on the menu. They have several sizes to choose from along with a thin crust or a little thicker crust. The employees are pretty nice and patient with you trying to figure out the size and what you want on your pizza. I decided on the Mad Dog pizza with the thicker crust with added toppings, like Spinach, bacon, roasted peppers, cheese etc. at no additional cost. My daughter is a Vegan and was surprised that they have vegan cheese and meat as well. Their fountain drinks are all self serve. I like watching them make my pizza right in front of me. All the ingredients look pretty fresh. You can eat in or take it out. Mod Pizza isn't the best pizza I've ever had, but not the worst by a long shot. This is a nice place to take the kids too with the personal size pizzas. Mod also servers Salads, cheesy breads and a few desert items that I haven't tried, but I'll be back. read more

Literally the worst experience ever! We ordered 5 pizzas directly from their website (not a 3rd party app). They only delivered 4 out of 5 of the pizzas, and when we called to have them deliver the missing pizza, they said we would have to pick it up or pay for an additional delivery fee. When we then instead asked for a refund for the missing pizza, they said they couldn't refund us for it. They basically wanted us to pay for their mistake with the only offer to fix anything being for us to drive to pick up our replacement pizza in person. On top of it all, the 4 out of 5 pizzas that we did receive weren't even that good. Absolutely horrible experience all around. Save yourself the time, money, hassle, and mediocre food and order from literally anywhere else. In case MOD actually reads this, the person we spoke to who claimed to be a manager was named Christian. When we asked to speak to their supervisor, they were conveniently on break (I call BS). UPDATE: the email address and credit card we used to place the order (which are my lesser used accounts) were used to create a Walmart account and fraudulently place several orders. Do not trust this place or their staff. The whole ordeal has been nothing but a regretful & awful experience. Avoid them like the plague. read more

This place totally reminds me of Chipotle but with pizza. You choose a pizza (or a salad) and customize it however you'd like. Unlimited toppings all for one flat price. While I was glancing at the menu, I noticed you can get a gluten free crust or a thicker crust at an additional cost. I got the Tristan pizza today, which consisted of mozzarella, Asiago, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, and a pesto drizzle on top. It was excellent. Not too salty and just the right amount of ingredients. The young man making my pizza did ask if I wanted extra toppings, but since I had never been to MOD before, I wanted to try a classic pizza the way it comes. When the pizza is done, they call your name to pick it up at the counter if you're dining in. Next to the drinks, they had the traditional add-ons: Parmesan cheese, red chili flakes, oregano and Old Bay seasoning. Also saw napkins and drink lids fully stocked, and boxes if you need to take some pizza home. I had the caramelized pear iced tea that is apparently made in house. It wasn't good. It tasted like a maple syrup flavored iced tea. I didn't lose hope, though. I went back to the dispensers and tried the blackberry lemonade and it was so much better. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the cleanliness. A lot of the tables were not wiped off. It wasn't until after I sat down that someone came over to start wiping them. The trash was piled up so high and the area where the drinks were had napkins all over the floor. A few young men came over and took care of the mess as I was getting ready to leave. The pizza is amazing!!! The ingredients are so fresh. You can order one of three sizes. My husband and I each ordered a Mini size which is a small, personal size. For the minis, the crust is thin and crispy, which is exactly how I like it. You can choose from their menu, which is on display as you walk to the counter, or create your own. I ordered a mini Maddy with extra cheese and my husband created his own. We also split garlic cheesy bread. Hubby enjoyed his first pizza so much he went back and ordered a second! You tell the staff which toppings you want and they make your pizza right in front of you. Once they're finished, they put it in their brick oven. When it's ready they will call you up to get it. The place is clean and seating is decently spaced. The staff is friendly and quick. There was a staff member walking around cleaning tables, collecting trays and making sure the drink selection was full the entire time we were there. We are definitely going to be back! read more

You don't have to wait to long before you get to enjoy your creation. The concept of the pizzeria it's a bit particular. All pizzas on the menu are the same prices; it only depends on the size of the pizza, not on the topics. So you order a cheese pizza or a meat lover pizza at the end of the day is going to be the same price, but you also have the option to make your own pizza adding as the most topics that you want, and the price will remain the same. One thing that impresses me that the staff is always energetic and willing to have a talk with any of their guess, also the place is pretty big and it always clean, I can recommend this for lunchtime because there also are very fast. I went to MOD Pizza for a school fundraiser. For a set prize (from the size of the pizza), you can choose as many toppings as you want. As someone who is not a picky eater, I liked the fact I could choose all of the toppings I wanted (which was a lot). The service was good, pizza was good and the place was spacious and clean enough to dine-in. If you want a lot of toppings without breaking the bank or even if you are a picky eater who only want certain toppings, this place is for you! It's so easy to customize it to your taste! Mod Pizza is a better version of the chain &pizza for one reason and one reason only: THEY PUT NAMES ON EACH PIZZA. Otherwise mixups are unavoidable. The pizza itself was okay, unlimited toppings for like 9 bucks, nothing super special in terms of a "make your own pizza" joint. We tried to enjoy their milkshake, but they don't even have big enough straws to drink them with. I'm someone who has personally given up straws and brings my own reusable with me wherever I go, but I ended up using on if their straws because I assumed they'd be large enough to handle the thick liquid (they were not). read more

I love the idea of building ur own pizza. They have a plethora of options for ur pizza and they offer a 6 inch pizza perfect for individual serving as well as a 4 inch. This was our first time visiting here, the wait staff was great with explaining how it worked. The pizza was delicious, the crust was on a thin side which is great because it allows u to enjoy the pizza toppings and sauce. My only complaint is that it was very chilly in the store so we had to eat with our costs on. It wasn't cold outside so not sure why it was so cold inside. No matter who's working, everyone's eager to help, energetic, and willing to make conversation. The food's consistent and tasty, and if you like olives, I recommend getting the Kalamata olives at the end of the line instead of the black olives. For under $5 each for the smaller size, it made dinner this night simple and cheap! I added little individually wrapped "cake with no name" for $1.25 each as a surprise treat. It was circular and looked like a Ho-Ho (I think that's what they're called) with a smooth chocolate exterior and a cream filled interior. They enjoyed them! Pies were ready rather quickly. The ingredients looked fresh. The place was clean. Parking out front on this large shopping center was a cinch, but traffic was heavy during rush hour. Be careful turning out onto Welsh! What really prompted me to write this review however was the staff! The guys were all super over the top friendly and cool cats. They made what was a quick stop fun and wanting me to come back. It was a very good vibe inside this place which you don't find too often with quicker food spots like this. Makes all the difference! With it located so close to the mall, I see me bringing back my mom to try it during one of our shopping days! If you're nearby and haven't tried it yet, I say go for it! Unlimited toppings! Before I was diagnosed with Celaic Disease I ate the regular pizza with sausage and ricotta cheese. It was good thin crust pizza, and it had a lot of flavor. Good, fast and fun pizza. Now that I am GF, I decided to give it another try with a new perspective. I ordered the gluten-free crust, plain; it was good! You can tell a difference in taste and texture from regular pizza crust, but it's not that glaringly obvious. My expectations were pretty low, and it surprised me by how good it tasted! For other Celiacs out there, I asked a few questions: (it does state on the menu, that they use shared preparation spaces and pizza ovens, so it is right there, but...) What is it made out of? Tapioca Do they share cutting utensils? No, and when the guy behind the counter called my name for pick up, he said, here I'm showing you I've just pulled a clean pizza cutter out to cut yours. I was really thankful- this guy gets it! Also, they put each crust on a little metal plate and paper, so I can't imagine that the crusts are touching all that much shared space, at least in the front of the house. Two of the guys working there said that their moms and a sister have Celiac and they are able to eat there without a problem. This gave me a little peace of mind and I decided to go for it. It was a great size for 2 people. Pepperoni & sausage was loved by my husband. My plain with garlic cloves, umm well... it was loaded down with cheese. In the future I'll request light cheese. The garlic cloves could've been roasted longer. They were mushy. As for the staff, not the friendliest. One out of four had a smile and was pleasant. We came at lunchtime, so it was busy. But I noticed not many free tables were wiped down. I had to clear our table before our food came out. But I'll give them a pass because it was crowded. I'd come back and give it another chance. My party of 3 stopped here today for lunch. We were helped immediately since there wasn't a line. We were greeted by friendly smiles. After placing our order we were told drinks would be on the house because they were having issues with the soda machine. This was nice of them-if it's free it's for me. We ordered a shareable Caesar salad and two 11" pies-the Tyler and the Caspian. We sat down to eat our salad and the pizza was brought out just as we were finishing. Perfect timing! Mod, it's a great concept. My first was in PDX. Air Crew was taking pies on the plane. Same prices at PDX as in any Mod. Clearly Portland know not how to gouge the air traveler. So, Mod comes East and it's a chain do it should be awesome like PDX. Not Willie Grove two visits and pies are burned. Staff is busy playing. Not a clean dish in sight despite an empty place at 8:30 PM. We are served in boxes. I'll drive to the Warrington site next time. Burned and unrepentant. No pizza should suffer like this pizza. With a staff of four, in an empty restaurant, they could do better. Staff is sitting out front whilst pizza burns. Just watched another disappointed Modtomer walk away. read more

About 6 weeks ago, I started a new job in Horsham and had Mod Pizza for the first time (and 2 other times since). I'm not going to lie, I'm a little obsessed! I have only ordered take-out through the app. The app is super easy-to-use and convenient and you can earn points. Picking up at the restaurant is super-easy as well. The restaurant is clean and organized and the staff are friendly. My pizza has always been ready and warm when I arrived. Now, for the pizza: I love that they offer a cauliflower crust (and you can't even tell that it's cauliflower). And they have a nice variety of fresh ingredients. I "make my own" pizza by selecting cheeses and toppings on the app. My go-to is the cauliflower crust with white sauce, mozzarella (sometimes I add asiago if I'm feeling feisty), spicy chicken sausage, arugula, red onion, roasted red peppers, roasted corn, diced tomatoes and, my absolute favorites: wait for it... roasted garlic and a pesto drizzle!! O.M.G.!!! It's SSSOOOOO good! This pizza is packed with flavor! I love the fact that they offer big, soft, roasted garlic cloves. It really makes all the difference.
