What happened to all the decent staff at this KFC from a couple of years back? They've been replaced by a rude service girl, out of order soda machines, and out of order restrooms. What was once a good experience is now something leaving a lot to be desired. If you sit inside to eat, you should be able to get free refills on your soft drinks as before and as any other fast food restaurant does. The service girl cited health code issues with handing my cup to her to refill the soda. Yet she doesn't seem to realize that the "Out of Order: Employees Only" signs on the restrooms is also a health code violation that is a lawsuit waiting to happen (hello ADA?). Please note CHAPTER 67b. COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA UNIVERSAL RESTROOM POLICY--STATEMENT OF POLICY. § 67b.1. Purpose. The Commonwealth complies with Federal and State laws regarding nondiscrimination and strives to promote access and accommodation for all employees and visitors. The Commonwealth recognizes that employees and visitors may require special restroom accommodations for their health, safety, convenience or privacy. If there were really "health code issues" that the restaurant was trying to adhere to, then the workers would be wearing masks! None of them were. My Mom and I were in the area (and were looking to kill some time), so we decided to stop at this location for an early Dinner. We had some issues trying to pull into the lot (we accidentally went down the opposing traffic lane, but thankfully no one was coming!) When we got in line, we only wanted the food (no drinks). Wow... never have I ever experienced customer service like this. Made a mobile order ready for pick up at 11. Waited in drive thru until 11:10, wondering why no one is responding to the mic and at the window. A young female employee walks in to work late and opens the window to scream at us for 5 minutes for waiting at "her" window. During the whole ordeal, myself and my family did not say one single thing until she stopped ranting. My husband politely let her know we are here for a mobile order and thats why we were waiting for someone to respond to us. She proceeded with, "I don't care. Dont stand at my window." It was tender and perfectly crispy. The sides were pretty standard and unimpressive. All the sides tasted artificial and what you would expect from a fast food place. The wait was horrendous. I tried to call ahead to see if they had any broiled chicken available, from past experience I knew to do this. I could not get anyone to answer the phone, it rang forever until it disconnected. I took my chances and went, waited patiently in the drive through and ordered the $20 fill up. I confirmed it would be 2 breast, 2 thigh, 2 drumsticks and 2 wings for the 8 pieces of chicken included. I asked if I could get one of the thighs broiled, the rest regular. When I got to the window, I handed my credit card and paid, received my order and left. The other 4 pieces were tiny fried clumps that were supposed to be wings and everything was luke warm at best! When I tried to call, I still got no answer. I called for over 30 minutes so finally went online to dispute the charge with my credit card company hoping that would spark a manager to call me. When I logged into my account, I noticed the pending charge was $23.45... the special was $20 so with tax should have been $21.20. Was in town visiting family, hadn't been feeling well all day so we got something we knew I could tolerate, KFC. I ordered the Pot Pie. We used the app & where at the drive thru order box by 7:10. we wanted to place an additional order for a 3 strips meal. We were told they were out of strips for the night. Odd, but whatever, I wondered if our chicken littles would be in our order then. We get to the window, where the window taker tells us the wrong name, we correct her, and after a brief pause of confusion she realizes she's one order ahead of us. All good, we got our food and drinks. We pulled over to check the order accuracy (as they've had issues before) and after untying the tightest knot I've seen, we discover there's no pot pie, but a famous bowl is there instead. We head back to the drive thru, noticing all the lights on the place are now off at 7:40pm, and explain we didn't get our pot pie. She told us to hold on, and comes back to say they don't have any more pot pies. There's no offer to refund the money or replace it with something else. (To me this suggests they knew they weren't going to make it and instead decided to sub a similar priced item & not tell us at the window.) All of this aside, the customer service being not good (I get it we all have long days but there was a big sense of we were bothering them by being there at all) the bowl want very good either. It didn't have the cheese (which was good cause then I wouldn't have had anything to eat) the chicken used was not hot at all, there was hardly any gravy and the corn was very over cooked. Went into this location February 18, approximately 4:20 PM. They did not have my order completed correctly so I asked for a refund upon walking into the store. I'm hearing them say a whole bunch of lip about me not even knowing who I am the young lady at the front said she was the manager in charge said she would not give me a refund. Well.. it is KFC. The chicken was hot and not greasy. The mashed potatoes were... well potatoey? Good cole slaw... the service was what you'd expect from a KFC.
