Absolute worst customer service and management at this location. I always place an online order, it has never been ready at the pick up time, sometimes it has been late up to one hour past. Other times I have went to pick it up, and they said it wasn't ready, so I sit and wait and then go check on it, and sure enough it has been sitting on the rack ready the entire time I was waiting. This was my very first time having a MOD Pizza, after my daughter and son-in-law (who live here in Vancouver, WA) raved about your pizza! Well, unfortunately, the whole experience has been totally disappointing! First, my daughter used your website to order everyone's pizza for this evening and was quite explicit on her details for each pizza. The order was placed early in the morning for a 430pm pick-up. Needless to say, my daughter calls the specific location she ordered it from approximately half an hour later to add her husband to the order, so that he would have no problem picking it up when he was done with work, to be told that there was "no" order in their system under my daughter's name and/or phone number. The person she is speaking to further states, "maybe you ordered it from another location?", of which she did not, because she received the email confirmation of her order stating the location! She explains this to the person on the phone and he then replies, "you need to speak to our general manager then. He's not here right now he's outside smoking a cigarette" (a bit of information that did not need to be shared); she then asks if she can leave a message for him to return your calls and gives her name and phone number to the person she was speaking to you. Unfortunately, hours later, no one returns her call, thus, prompting her to call the store again. During this call, The person she speaks to states that her order is there and their system and adding her husband would be no problem. You would think 'that would be the end of that' but, alas, it was not to be! So, as the story continues, my son-in-law picks up the order with no problems, brings it home and to our astonishment we find that three of the five pizzas we ordered were burnt! We review the order slips that came with each pizza and burnt was not one of the "toppings" that we asked for, LOL! My daughter then calls the store and spoke to a person identifying himself as Corey where she explains the whole scenario to him. Corey then stated that he was reimbursed my daughter and remake all of the pizzas that were ordered. My daughter explains that the reimbursement is fine because to return to this location (7 miles away) is too far for us to return; of which, he agreed. That was the end of the conversation, there was no apology or confirmation given as to when my daughter could expect the reimbursement. Upon calling the store back to confirm when they reimbursement should go through, the person she spoke to stated that she didn't see any type of reimbursement transaction "on her screen" And that Corey should have informed her that it will take a few days for the reimbursement to go through. My daughter then asked her who Corey was and the person replied, "the general manager." Wow, if Corey really is the general manager and to receive this kind lack in quality and service is extremely disappointing! Obviously, after this experience we will definitely not be returning or recommending MOD Pizza to anyone! read more

I love Mod and have zero complaints. Is this the best pizza? No. Is it the best fast-food style pizza that's on a thin, real wood-fired crust? Probably so. I love pizza. Adore it. Seriously. Put me on a desert island & I want a piece of flint, a container, a knife, and pizza It's literally my favorite food. That it can be a complete balanced meal if you assemble it right is just icing on the cake! Mod is my go-to when I need a quick pizza fix but don't feel like going somewhere, waiting 30-45 minutes, and having a ton of leftovers. I get a 4" mini every time and customize it. They have some great featured recipes but you can put anything they have on it for no additional charge, which quite frankly is AWESOME! Awesome place for a "super fast" pizza. Given the options for pizza in the area it's very easy to find a place that is a little heavy. The great thing about this establishment is that it is very easy to customize your pizza and make it as filling or light as you desire. They have a good selection of pre-customized pizzas that you can take as is or further customize. The service is always prompt, and precise. In the past I have tried their shakes which are decent but nothing special. A "Mod" pizza and soda for about $10. Would've been five stars had it not been for the rude, shitty customer service. Went there yesterday to order a salad. It was pretty dead in the store. Guy who greeted me seemed annoyed by my very presence. I was telling him what I wanted in my salad, and he just angrily flung the ingredients into the bowl. He also barked at me because I didn't perfectly stand on the square on the floor for social distancing. I had my mask on, too, and take social distancing pretty seriously, but I just think he needed an excuse to blow up at me. Super long wait in line and the pizza maker almost made us the wrong pizza (ordered a MOD size and was going to make a mini) until I pointed it out to him. Any place that tells me "all our pizza is this price. You don't pay for toppings, so get creative" is doing it right in my book. The pizza here is on point. I'm not normally a thin crust pizza kind of girl. Thin crust pizza is typically either over cooked and slightly burnt, or under cooked and it can barely hold on to it's toppings. But the pizza here at MOD was in neither category. The crust was nice and crisp without being burnt, but still had a nice chewiness to it. We ordered a Ulysses (#8) with chicken, a Caspian (#10) with pineapple and red peppers, and a order of the strawberry knots. They were all amazing. Kind of a fun place for a chain. I have been to other pizza places where they make it in front of you that were a tad better. This place is fast. They will get you through in a normal business lunch time. Therein lies the problem. If you put too many veggies in your pizza, evidently they dont realize it makes it really wet, and it therefore requires an extra minute or so of cooking. They have a few decent beers on tap which is nice. I enjoyed a great pilsner from the Columbia Gorge with lunch. I love the variety of ingredients available to you. Really good gourmet toppings make a pizza for me. The crusts are pre prepped cracker style ones that they grab from a rack. They are not great, but also not terrible. In the name of speed i can see why they do it that way. I might stop at one again for lunch, but its not a destination sort of restaurant. read more

The ladies taking orders and assembling the pizza had a line several customers deep but would have been confused as a manikins if they moved any slower. One of my absolute favorite lunch stops, delicious, quick and appreciate their outside seating when weather is nice. Also enjoy that you add toppings as you go, this place is very vegan friendly. My favorite: a mini or MOD size, with red sauce, spinach, garlic, cilantro, tomatoes, green bell peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos, red onions, chickpeas (which they did not have last time I went, hope it was not removed) and vegan cheese! I don't normally give five star reviews for quick-service type restaurants like this - but let me tell you this place is worth it. For a quick meal, the prices are very fair and you can customize your pizza any way you like without incurring additional charges. That the pizza is cooked in a wood fired oven is a HUGE plus in terms of flavor. It's something that a regular oven just can't match. Honestly, the pizza here is just plain delicious, and hits the spot every time. I've yet to be disappointed. The cinnamon pull-apart bread is so good too, I could eat that all day long. They bake it to order just like the pizza, so it always comes out hot, crispy, and delicious. All in all, this place is a solid five in my book. Just when you thought parking at this shopping center couldn't get much worse, MOD has opened! We had to go to neighboring Sprint, so we stopped in here for lunch. They were doing a hell of a business. Food came out pretty fast, considering the size of the crowd. Problems that bring it down a couple of stars are likely due to the hectic pace and new staff. 1) Huge bubbles on both the pizzas we ordered. 2) They completely neglected jalapenos on my husband's Calexico (we didn't stick around to watch them prep it since neither of us wanted anything removed or added - so: hint, demure skipping in front of those who are and watch your pies being made). 3) My husband's crust was a bit singed around the edges. Overall, though, the food was tasty. Nice, fresh ingredients and they aren't shy with toppings, when they remember to put them on. My favorite part? **Edit 10/28/13** The owner contacted me directly and was genuinely interested in gathering my thoughts about this visit. I like that. Shows me that they're really trying to make this location work and want to definitely right any wrongs that I had. For this, I bumped up my star rating from two to three. And when I go back - which I will - I'll look to update this review as well. *** I didn't have the best experience with MOD Pizza. Granted, it was my first... but first impressions are key. Three things that negatively impacted my visit: 1) Pizza was subpar. Love, love, love the idea of the price not scaling with how many toppings you get... but I just did not enjoy the pizza. The crust was fairly thin and quite crunchy. I ordered a pesto pizza and, while I typically LOVE anything pesto, I didn't find it to my liking. Got red onions (about two rings of red onion was on my pizza), chicken (about three huge pieces) and some veggies. I also sampled my wife's garlic rub sauce pizza and came away unimpressed. You do get a fairly sizable personal pizza... but forget about leftovers. I tried mine the next day (one of the best things about ordering pizza are the leftovers!) and the crust was so weird in that it was SUPER chewy and very unenjoyable. 2) Double-charged. Maybe it was due to the cashier not really knowing about the online ordering process, but when you place an order online you also input your payment details. This is like when you go pick up a pizza at a chain restaurant: you've paid what you needed to pay and you go in and pick up your order. When arriving, I went to the cashier, mentioned I was here to pick up my online order. She then proceeded to ask what I ordered (I had to repeat what it was), she took my card and swiped it while I asked, "But I thought I paid online?" Apparently not in her eyes. Looking at my bank account, I am seeing a double-charge which I'll have to now call my bank and ask to get credited. So if you place an online order make sure the cashier doesn't ring you up again. 3) Online ordering promptness. When you place an order online, they mention the time that you'll be picking it up. I arrived 5 minutes early from that time (which was about 45 mins out of when I ordered) and waited 20 minutes until I got my order of three mod pizzas. I'm OK with waiting, sure, but my thinking was with ordering online (and with plenty of time until arrival) you typically get your order when it specifies. So all in all - not the best first impression. I like the space, I like the idea of this place and I'm sure I'll be back to try it again... someday. read more

Was looking for a gluten free friendly place to eat and have a drink while getting my tires changed. Mod pizza delivered just that! I got the Italian Chop salad in the largest size, and was surprised at how much food it was. It paired nicely with my Black Cherry White claw. The outdoor seating area is nice but gets a lot of noise from the traffic, which is why I only gave 4/5 stars. They also advertise beer on draft and my boyfriend wanted one but they said they actually don't have it. Would eat here again, thank you for the gluten free friendly food! read more

Pretty darn good! Met some family her for a birthday get-together and I had never heard of this place. I didn't even know Vancouver technically went out this far!
