Love, love love this place! Great pizza, great prices, great service. What else can you ask for? What's good: + Great prices. Vary from $5 to $9 for unlimited topings. + Lots and lots of quality and delicious ingredients to choose from. 30+ topings. + People that work here are great. Always provide good service. Sometimes I feel a little rushed by the pizza artists, but nevertheless, they're good people. + Place is always clean. + Delicious desserts! Cinnamon strips come with 3 dipping sauces (chocolate, strawberry or cinnamon glaze). My favorite being chocolate. + Have beer! Pizza and beer... what else can you ask for. What could use improvement: - If they could slow down when getting us through the toppings section it would be much appreciated. What in the hell happened with this place? Went here yesterday, orders the "mod" size Caesar salad and a mini pizza. I realize times are tough, which is why I support Mod. I like the food, it's usually fresh and pretty good. But the prices have bulged, the portions have shrunk, and tbe service is well...... Millenial. So I walk up to the man-bun and politely request a mod size Caesar salad. He/they puts what literally looks like 22.7 romaine leaves in what looks like a garnish bowl. It was 1/3 filled. It was one third the size of a $4 trader Joe's salad. I remark "really? That for ten bucks?" The man-bun retorts with a snotty "well, you should see the size of the mini", as if to prove the paying customer wrong. Not the response I was anticipating. In previous trips , they would AT LEAST fill the g.d. bowl, then dump the contents in the steel mixing bowl. This boy delighted in an already dissatisfied customer. $21.67 later, I had a cup of salad and a pizza the size of a taco tortilla . It was very quiet in there with way too many employees. If they want to stay in business at this location, they better fix something and quickly. I'm not coming back. read more

I always go here. I paid $25 dollars for 2 pizzas, which is fine, but one of my pizza's half the toppings fell off by the oven handler and they didn't even bother by remaking it. This is Not acceptable. Not quality pizzas. They just put it in the box and cut the slices, like it's okay. There is No love here, while serving the pizzas. It's ok. Pizza is pretty good, however they always cut it into 4 huge unmanageable slices. Annoying because I don't always remember to ask for it in smaller pieces, especially if they're really busy. Only one size drink and it's tiny. For takeout, another option would be nice. Also. No small bags available for us take out people, so gotta juggle condiments (cheese, peppers) and tiny ding dong cakes all over the place. Cakes melt when placed on top of hot pizza. So here I am hands full with my 3 month old daughter. And my wife is out for the night with family. I am craving a nice pizza. Not saying I need my wife to cook. I do equal share around here. I'm a generous person. So I add a $5 tip to my order. Minimum $15 purchase for delivery... and now I see a $6.99 delivery fee. I was going to ask the driver if they get that fee. Cuz back in the day (2009ish) I used to be a delivery driver when fees were 2 bucks. If that was the case I'd be fine in helping out. Come to find out I get a text and it's a door dash delivery when I ordered directly from mods website. I used to also deliver for DD. They are a rip off of the customers and the drivers. I'm pissed. Not to say that their pizza isn't good. It is. I'm pissed that now I paid $12 for delivery that is less than 2 1/2 miles away and I know that this driver is maybe getting the $5 for this delivery. So now my $18 order has turned into $31. this is a terrible business practice. I would've expected you to have your own drivers and not rely on some BS company to do it for you. As I was writing this I've watched the driver change twice. And after a 20 minute wait I'm waiting for the driver to even pick up my food past the delivery time. I canceled my order. Please tell me why this would have been worth an extra $12 on top of my original order. Hire your own drivers and pay them a decent wage! And stop ripping off your customers. I hope everyone sees this. It doesn't order delivery from here ever again. I know I won't. read more

I love being able to see the quality of the topping I'm choosing and being able to put exactly what I want and only what I want on the pizza. The original MOD size pizza is a good filling size pizza if you're hungry. I personally cant ever finish it in one sitting but it does reheat nicely. Fast and friendly service as always. I've been here numerous times, but my visit last night finally prompted me to leave a review. I typically come here with my daughter and we normally both get their cauliflower crust. Why? Because we actually like it better than the regular dough AND I like low-carb, so it works better for me; however, with that being said, their regular dough is also really tasty. It's nice for the both of us because she's a pesto kid and I'm a red sauce kinda gal, so we each get individual pizzas. The kicker.....each pizza gets as many ingredients on it as you want for one price! What???? Yep, you read it right, one price to load up as many cheeses, meats and veggies, plus an after drizzle on top, as you want. The reason I'm writing now is because of their salads. Oh. My. God! My daughter is in the National Honor Society (shout out to my kid) at Simi High and they were hosting a fundraiser night at MOD. I wasn't really in the pizza mood, but she had been planning to eat there for two weeks and I agreed in the first place and I'm a mom of my word, so we went. I was going to fall back on my usual cauliflower crust pizza, but I was thinking it was a little heavy and I was really craving something lighter. I would have never considered a salad from this place. In fact, I had completely forgotten that they had salads, but looked anyways and you can build you own salad. Game changer! I order a mixed greens salad with salami, pepperoni, canadian bacon, black olives, roasted corn, artichokes, croutons, roasted garlic, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes, basil, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses and it was LOADED! I asked them to toss it there, but put the dressing on the side (you can ask for as many as you want, again, with no extra charge) and they did exactly that. When I picked up the salad, it looked a little small to me. Well, it wasn't. These wizards packed this ginormous salad into a smallish bowl and it expanded when I dumped it out at home. Tossed it in their balsamic vinaigrette dressing and it was truly one of the best salads I've had in a very long time. Meat and goodies in every single bite. And under $10. Also, their staff has been nothing short of wonderful, well-mannered, helpful and fast-moving every time I've ever been in there. I feel like this is a great little gem of a pizza place. This pizza is good. Really really good. I love how fresh it always tastes and the fact that you can 100% customize to your cravings is a major plus. I've only been here once but that one time was a great experience. The crust is delicious and while I was a bit boring with my toppings the options were great. The people working were super friendly also and when a customer was ordering they were really professional and focused on the customer something rare with today's youth ( like I'm so old......haha). Maybe it was a bad day for the store but it was a Tuesday at lunch time,maybe noonish. This was a first try. 2 other people in the place. Employees were zombies. No eye contact, tattoos from head to toe, gross nose ring, and a nice frizzy head of hair hovering over all the toppings with no net, a cheap tin sounding radio blasting something abrasive behind the counter and the store music playing it's music. We were going to sit & eat and not even being polite, the young lady rudely said "you can't eat in her, you have to get out" (with the hand motion & thumb to get out). Very very RUDE! She could have said something at time of taking our Order that it's take out only & that the Dining ate is closed. Wow what a great little find in Simi Valley! I loved their thin crust pizza so much. It tastes wonderful! So I waited the 5 extra min, and he offered me the burnt pizza and gave me the new pizza too. That was wonderful customer service! And he was very friendly. I am giving 4 stars because the crust is SO thin. It felt like I was eating a piece of paper, that's how thin it was. I've always been keen to try new things in culinary life. Pizza has been a popular fare for us as a people. So many options in toppings and other details to make the results very personalised for one's enjoyment. Visiting MOD Pizza, on the recommendation of an online friend, my experience at the local branch was incredible pleasing. The interior has a simplistic visual, and while there is music playing for one's entertainment, it is sufficient to not drown out conversation that friends and groups can enjoy each other's company. The staff of only three seen were quick and efficient about the service. The menu provided an easy explanation for fixed prices based on sizes, with a few additions for selected sauces and toppings. In my case, a personal-sized pizza with a seasonal hot sauce, mozzarella and gorgonzola cheese, pepperoni and black olives. Baked in a large oven that provided a union of the classic Italian style of large provision, with a decent-sized opening to contain the heat, and modern metal materials to make the pizza cooking time extremely quick, about five minutes. At the first bite, the sauce provided an excellent spicy kick, and I could taste the gorgonzola cheese with its distinct blue colour dotting the white mozzarella. The thin crust allowed a satisfying taste of the toppings as a whole, and overall, a new experience for pizza. I hope to return again sometime soon when the no name cake on the dessert selection will be available (as it was sold out that day), and also sample another pizza variety of my choice. To pizza lovers who want something simple, but fulfilling, and different from the big, popular pizza chains, I highly recommend MOD Pizza. My husband and I go here every so often and love it. The pizza is always reasonably priced, made to order, and delicious. The Mod is one price with any combination of toppings you'd like, and there are a LOT of options. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful, and our last visit proves it. I happen to leave my purse there and didn't realize it for at least an hour, in which the staff found it and tried diligently to get a hold of me. Mod pizza has a clean and modern feel. I was greeted as soon as I entered. The menu has pre set pizzas or you can pick your own ingredients from a pretty nice sized list. I chose the Lucy sunshine and added fresh basil. I got the mini and it was the perfect size for my lunch. They offer bottled birch beer by Boylans and other natural ingredient sodas.
