Ordered delivery to local hotel and had warm pizza in less than expected time. We enjoyed the Tristan with a nice blend of flavors that worked well with the thinner crust as did the traditional pepperoni. The Buffalo chicken didn't work as well as ingredients were not uniformed topped and heavy on the Gorgonzola cheese which is a restraint ingredient. The crust is thinner but not a crispy thin crust nor a NY style. The sauce was a bit bland but won't be off putting to kids. Enjoyable meal for a relaxing night in at hotel with affordable prices and good service. read more

My partner first went into this restaurant because he was craving some pizza that could be made keto-friendly and he adored his meal. Keto pizza can be complicated to find, but I had my own craving a few weeks later and we decided to return. I LOVE it! If I'm being honest, the first day I thought it was very tasty but I wasn't blown away by it. For some reason, I reheated the leftovers the next day and couldn't get enough. I will definitely be going back! My partner also says the staff is very friendly and cool. read more

great new pizza place in the Orlando/Lake Buena Vista area, in a plaza with lots to do. there's a variety of pizzas on the menu but you can also create your own using the many toppings they have. i opted for the create your own ($9.63, 11") with their red sauce, shredded mozzarella, curry-spiced chicken, green bell peppers, broccoli, olives, and their salt & oregano blend. i also got a side of they Sri-Rancha sauce- spicy and creamy. there are also salads available, along with Coke products and lots of other beverages. the staff is really nice and the service is quick since the pizzas cook at a hot temperature. there's lots of seating available inside and, since it's in a plaza, there's plenty of partaking around. read more

Let me start by saying this pizza is best enjoyed by eating in house. Take out is not where it is at. You will want to make sure the cook can deliver on their skills before leaving the register. The crust was soft with no crispness the toppings were decent except the vegan sausage. It appeared to be an uncooked afterthought on the pizza. Speed isn't everything. Good pies take time. Customer service was genuine and pleasant. If the pizza can catch up to the customer service they may have something special. read more

So many choices for pizza in this area. Save your energy for better things. Family and I got to Marriott about 9:30pm. Called order in. After an hour called to see where pizza was, they didn't even have us in their system? Our credit card was charged, but no food? The female handling call kept saying not their fault this is a corporate thing??? All I know is we were charged for our order, did not get any food, and all rest closed do our 5 kids didn't even get to eat. Sounds like these guys have gone corporate could care less about quality service, and more about taking consumer hard earned money. Never again. read more

Very average experience. Chain with the concept of building your own personal pizza and having it baked and ready in under 10 minutes. Don't get me wrong - I love everything about this concept. However, when it boils down to taste and quality I find that Blaze Pizza (a competitor chain) just does everything better. The dough at MOD didn't taste super fresh and the roasted garlic had an odd bitter aftertaste. read more

Not sure how I feel about this place, I mean, I was greeted immediately as I walked in. But I guess because it is a new place their staff needs a lot of training. They offer a beer selection but no one could assist in answering questions about them... pizza didn't impress me, it was bad but it wasn't yummy either. It is a good location and the place was very clean and nicely decorated. I guess with a little more training on the products they offer it will be a better experience for the customers. Decent pizza, compared to the other Mods I've been to. The staff had a weird vibe and the place was filthy. I'd literally replace the entire staff and close for a couple days to scrub it. Then it would be 5 stars. People don't want to eat in a dirty, unpleasant restaurant. Maybe why it was empty at prime dinner time? Every mod I've ever been to had a line out the door. This place was really great when it first opened but has gone down in quality over the past few months. I've been a couple times in the last two months and both times I've experienced poor service and messed up orders. On my most recent mobile order i got my pizza with no sauce on it.... idk how you screw that up. What's even worse is when the staff no they've messed up they don't make any effort to apologize or make the experience better. They just made a new pie and didn't comp anything. This pizza was DELICIOUS!!!! I am a fan of Uncle Maddios based on that way they cook their gluten free crust. I've tried other places like Blaze and it's always very soft and undercooked. But MOD maybe my new pizza spot. Great taste and many options. Based on the employees recommendations I tried the roasted pineapple and there was a considerable difference. This is an excellent restaurant that opened about three weeks ago. The M.O.D. stands for made on demand. You can order any of nine classic pizzas or just choose to make your own with all of their topping choices. If you're making your own you have the choices of the basis which include barbecue sauce, pesto, red sauce, white sauce, or garlic rub. The cheese choices include asiago, dairy free cheese, feta, gorgonzola, mozzarella, parmesan, and ricotta. The meats include anchovies, bacon, grilled chicken, ground beef, mild Italian sausage, spicy Italian sausage, Canadian bacon, pepperoni, and salami. My pizza was awesome. I got the 'Mad Dog' classic pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, mild sausage, and ground beef. Of course, even when ordering one of the classics, you have the option of adding any other topping, and there are many, for free. I had the extra toppings of artichokes, roasted Brussel sprouts, black olives, jalapeños, red onions, roasted corn, roasted garlic, bacon, spicy Italian sausage, gorgonzola cheese, and parmesan cheese. When picking up your pizza, you will be asked what final dressings you would like. Just like the toppings, you can have any or all of the finishes. The finishes include balsamic fig glaze, barbecue swirl, hot buffalo sauce, pesto drizzle, ranch, red sauce dollops, sriracha, and/or sri-rancha. I had the balsamic fig glaze and it was great. My wife's pizza wasn't so awesome as the gluten-free crust was not tasty. My five star rating rating is based solely on the regular pizza and dining experience. I found the atmosphere to be wonderful, the restaurant very clean, associates friendly, and really nice music. read more

YUM! First things first. MUCH better than Blaze. Sorry. My husband and I got a coupon in the mail for a free pizza, so we finally took advantage of that. When we went we saw signs for $8 or so pizza with unlimited toppings, so we paid for an extra pizza. Everyone was so helpful and awesome. My husband got the Caspian pizza, which he added pineapples and bacon on it. Dang, it was great. I made my own pizza, and got ricotta, mozzarella, the spicy sausage, jalapeños, pepperoni and bacon. I make a great pizza, if I do say so myself. After they cook it, they have a bunch of special sauces you can have drizzled over it. I chose the pesto and the hot honey, which I didn't think would tase great on pizza, but it does!! But be warned. Have a drink nearby. It's hot! They also have a few different kind of drinks, aside from just having regular soft drinks. We shared the blackberry lemonade. Delicious! Aside from the pizza, we paid a bit over $10 for a pizza and a drink. Not bad! And if you are there while the sun is setting, sit outside! It's so lovely! read more

The thinnest place I've ever seen. Only room for two lines of people in the main area, one line for ordering, one line for picking up. Behind the counter was quite the operation. Pies being baked in one oven, being put on display, and then another oven jam packed with slices being warmed for the customer, along with their accompanying garlic knot. Every slice comes with a complimentary knot. I'm pretty sure I saw whole pizzas going out with eight included knots. The service was pretty good. Efficient, friendly enough workers. There was an aura of hurry up, what do you need, but with a line out the door literally all night, I do not blame them one bit. And the slice factory line got you in an out as quickly as it possible could. As for the slice itself, it was pretty ok. Good crust, foldable slice. Very cheesy, which is needed for most clientele who are in the middle of downtown in need of munchies. Slim toppings, though, and even after the heating process, the slice was kind of cold. Overall, for the convenience and the price, this place was good. I'll definitely come back under the right circumstances.

When I presented my military ID, he refused to apply the discount and then attempted to take my government-issued military ID out of my hand to inspect whether it was legitimate. That interaction really caught me off guard and made me uncomfortable. Regardless of the store's policy, there are more respectful and professional ways to handle that situation. I still purchased my food and ordered a standard cheese pizza, hoping the food would make up for the experience. Unfortunately, it was pretty average. The bottom of the pizza was pale and seemed undercooked, so it lacked the crisp texture I was expecting. The ambience, however, did seem really nice. They have upstairs seating that overlooks the street, which could make for a nice spot if you're dining in. Overall, I understand busy shifts can be stressful, but customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect. The server seemed so monotone and as other's have said robotic in his manerisms. When we specifically asked about something gluten free because right above their door they clearly advertise gluten free we were advised that really the safest thing to get is just a salad...seriously? If I want to have a salad that's something I will just do at home. They said their pizza is gluten free but they don't really take any precautions like cooking it on a seperate tray when it's in the oven so it will probably be contaminated. My husbands pizza looked so doughey and from what he described it was so chewy he could hardly manage to eat it but he was hungry and knew it was going to be a long night. My other family member had pasta with meat sauce that she said was the worst sauce she'd ever had on pasta. Then it took a little bit to even get a manager involved and thankfully they discounted our meals because for how expensive it was the food was quite disappointing. I can't say much about the atmosphere since we ate outside and not inside. It was a beautiful day outside so I guess that part of it was nice. All in all I am skipping this on my next trip into Orlando.

We ordered the Coheed & Calabria pizza, modified it to leave off the hot honey, and added extra Calabrian chiles instead. It was hands-down one of the best pies I've ever had. * The Flavor Profile: Leaving off the honey let the savory toppings truly shine, while the extra Calabrian chiles added a fantastic, fiery kick that elevated the whole pizza. * The Crust: Their 48-hour cold-fermented sourdough crust is the real deal. It has that gorgeous leopard-spot char, a super crispy bottom, and a light, airy chew. * Vibe: Ordering from the walk-up window next to Whiskey Lou's gives it such a cool, casual Orlando vibe. Three salads, an olive appetizer, two beers, bread, three pizzas, one dessert, all nailed perfectly. Server even checked in about our food allergies. Two months later, tried going with my fiance. 6:30pm reservation on a Sunday. We showed up ten minutes early, to try and be cordial in case it was busy again, like last time. We walked in to four full tables, and four that were clearly unbussed and still dirty. Three servers are handling the four tables. We're greeted, and the first thing we're asked is if we'd "be okay sitting at the bar?" We told them about our reservation, and we're asked to wait a few minutes... while the servers went back to their other customers. Immediate red flag. It's still loud and cold, inside, with the owner and two other BoH members handling food orders. After we told them again about our reservation, we asked if we could sit on the patio. Nodding at each other and pointing that none of the dirty tables inside still had been cleaned, whatsoever. The young server that finally sat us invited to go over the menu as she went to "find out who would be helping us, this evening." (It turned out to be her, with obvious reluctance on her face.) We then waited ten minutes, with room temperature water and another couple eating takeout pizza, directly from the box, five feet away from us... On a night we both had planned for weeks. She inevitably came back, and we Immediately told her we needed to leave. There's no reason why three servers can't handle that lax of a clientele volume, while also bussing their own tables. If you're dropping around $30 a person on dinner, with the literal business owner present behind the counter, that level of blatant laziness shouldn't even be possible. We'll try again on a day expected to be busy. They clearly need some fire under their asses, and it's not coming from where it should be.

We arrived about 30 minutes before closing and were seated right away. Since they were getting ready to close, our waitress came over quickly to take our order, which was completely understandable. Despite the late hour, the service was friendly and efficient. We ordered a large pizza that was half cheese and half pepperoni, lemon pepper chicken wings cooked well done, and cinnamon sugar zeppoles for dessert. The pizza was absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal. The cheese pull was everything you'd want from a great pizza, and every bite was fresh and flavorful. The wings were cooked well, but I was expecting a stronger lemon pepper flavor, as the seasoning was pretty mild. The cinnamon sugar zeppoles were the perfect way to end the meal--light, fluffy, pillowy, and absolutely delicious. Overall, I would definitely recommend NYPD Pizza. The pizza alone is worth the visit, and if I'm ever back in the area, I'd happily stop in again just for another pie.

He also says it starts at 3:30 and not 3...so he had to go back to check and ask. He also had to "check" if he could "find" happy hour menu; no. So he looked in the register. Nothing; lunch hour prices still populated the system. That said, he asked us three times what we wanted. Drinks? Food? Anything to drink yet? I also asked our dear fella if it's Wing Thursday... uh: "oh, yeah." So the Queen Bee was in the mood for wings. Dry Rub #2, all flats. She said they were "okay." I didn't want any, so I can only hope she did like 'em. They came with the driest and most bland focaccia bread I've had occasion to try in a long time. Simon didn't bother to ask how they were either. I meantime chose to have a 16" half pepperoni (thick-cut) half Paulie's. The latter is meatball, sausage, ricotta and peppers (hot or sweet). They advertise their pies as being well done. Guess what? It wasn't...no char or barely a spot of black on it whatsoever. It was still passable, but for $28 TOTALLY not worth it. It also came out AFTER my dear Queen Bee finished her five little wings. I'll guess the pizza guy was in just as much a hurry as Simon was. We were gonna sit and have a glass of wine (her) and a draft (me). All they had on draught was Bud Light, Sam Adams, Voodoo Ranger and Stella...no thanks! "Uh: you wanna box for the pizza?" So Simon whipped just out the box for the rest of our pizza (4 slices left) and handed me the tablet and just stood there waiting to get it back. Did he ask whether we liked it? Let's just say his level of service was reflected by my level of gratuity. I said to him "I guess you're in a hurry, ain't you, Simon?" It went over his head, as did pretty much everything else in our limited conversations. He asked if we wanted "rewards" for it. No; why would I? Simon totally ruined our time there. Reward enough would be someone teaching that kid how to serve with manners and grace. So THIS experience tells me where NOT to go next time we pass through the neighborhood. Keep your rewards, Anthony. Save 'em for someone ELSE. I'll just take half the underdone pie home and heat it like it should be...or give it to a homeless man on the way home. I've eaten better pizza out of a gas fired oven.
