However, I didn't feel like driving out of the way to my regular spot for pizza, so I chose a place on Yelp (obviously) that is rated high. I found Five Star Pizza that is about 2 1/2 miles from where I live. There pizza is really, very good, and I am extremely picky. I'm picky about the kind of pizza sauce that is used, and the quality of the toppings. This place offers high quality pizza, and wings. I personally enjoy the garlic-parmesan, and spicy garlic wings, and the pepperoni-sausage-mushroom pizza. The flavors all come together so well to make the perfect meal. read more

I have been coming here for over 6 years and I can count on them on a good pizza. I prefer the pizza saucy so I get it with extra sauce but pizza is always hot and usually wait times are less than 30 minutes which is a deal. Their wings are really good too. Here's where it turns awful...eating the leftovers tonight I bit into a chewy object...much to my gagging, I pulled a small latex balloon out of my mouth. I still want to puke typing this. Naturally I called the restaurant. After being put on hold and waiting some time I got the manager on the phone. His reaction was, "I'm sorry but that's just not possible. There's no way a ballon could get in our food." He said there was nothing he could do about it because the order was already closed out. What the HELL? After much pushing he said, "I can give you a ten dollar credit in your next order." Ummm, hello, THERE WAS A BALLOON IN MY PIZZA!!!!!! At the very least I want this order credited back in FULL. I was told that it was the next on out and would be there shortly, then the person on the phone told me if I wanted a specific time that I needed to call, not order online. One thing I wish they had was French Fries on the menu but they have tons of other options. They have great prices for their pizza the best in town if you ask me. This is our "go-to" place for delivery, if you'll pardon the oxymoron (or is it a paradox?). Anyway, we really like the pizza. I get either just cheese or tomato & onion, and my guy gets pepperoni. We usually each get a 12" which feeds us twice. It reheats GREAT (not true of all pizza). The hot wings are delicious, too. The food is good. The fact that they deliver is also good. Only issue I find is the customer service, it can be hit or miss. Delivery normally takes a while.. there's been times I've waited 1 hour and a half and longer. Calling in orders can be frustrating because sometimes the workers are not familiar with the menu and they enter in something wrong, charging issues, etc. I recently went to pick up an order because I was not wanting to wait an hour for deliver and the customer service honestly shocked me. The store was busy and the phones were constantly ringing off the hook. The person in the back was just shouting "Put them on hold!! They have to wait! Do your job!!" It got to a point I believe he said don't worry about answering the phones. His tone was not really appropriate in a store full of customers. My food was not ready, others food was not ready on time, and they even messed up an order - there were no apologies or anything like that for the inconvenience. The guy in the back continued to make remarks to the workers, and it was kind of harsh and disrespectful. I like the food, but I don't know how to feel about the customer experience.. therefore, 2 stars. read more
