I stop by this Mod Pizza location every couple of months or so, but interestingly I've actually never ordered the pizza -- I always come here for the salads. One thing I really like is how customizable the salads are, especially if you're trying to hit certain protein goals or just want to build something exactly the way you want it. The portions are also pretty generous. Service has always been perfectly fine during my visits. I've seen some reviews mentioning employees ignoring customers, but that hasn't been my experience. Usually there are one or two employees near the front when I walk in, and they acknowledge me right away unless they're already helping someone. I've also never had to wait very long for my order. The main reason I'm giving three stars instead of four or five is the price. The last salad I ordered was close to $15, which feels a bit steep for what it is. Don't get me wrong -- it was a good salad and I'll probably order one again at some point. But for that price, it does make you think about how easily you could grab ingredients from the Safeway in the same parking lot and make something similar for less. That said, it is nice being able to customize everything and not deal with prep, dishes, or cleanup, so there's definitely some convenience value there. One of these days I'll probably actually try the pizza, but the salads are so big that I never feel like I could realistically order both. Over the years I used to really enjoy MOD Pizza. It was consistent, fresh, and felt like you were getting solid value for what you paid. Lately though, the quality has noticeably declined. The ingredients don't feel as fresh as they once did, portions seem lighter, and the overall experience just doesn't hit the same. On top of that, the customer service has taken a step back. What used to feel welcoming and efficient now feels rushed and indifferent. The pricing shift doesn't help. What used to be about $11.39 for unlimited toppings has now crept up to around $15 for essentially the same concept. When the price goes up but the quality and service go down, it's hard to ignore. Today sealed it for me. When both the food and the service miss at the same time, it's tough to justify coming back. It's disappointing because this used to be a reliable spot. Unfortunately, this was my last visit. I hope they're able to course correct, but right now, it just isn't what it used to be. read more

I don't know if this location is a franchise under new ownership or what but boy has the quality ever diminished lately! When you spend $20 (including tax and tip ) for a pie with six tiny slices, you expect it to be halfway decent. Unfortunately, it's our opinion that Domino's offers twice the value these days. Did a mobile order and when we entered the store, the staff seemed very disinterested in simply handing us our pie, Does not surprise us that the place was basically a ghost town. I attached our receipt as demonstration that we ordered extra of the toppings, just to see what would happen, and as other reviews here have commented, it was a very large disappointment. It is our opinion that the toppings were actually fewer than the normal portion of toppings in recent history. Not a single soul around after they say hi when I walk in and then about it is 7 minute wait one person comes out of the bathroom or whatever and washes her hands and then tries to find someone to help her and one girl comes out looking like She's Stoned as hell and goes back behind the doors and doesn't come out to help with the pizzas in the oven there were two people behind me also the first girl is still here working by herself my pizza has not yet gone in the oven and I have ordered it about 5 minutes ago. My wife and I went to this location yesterday for the first time and we will never go back. Spent over $50 for burnt pizza with barely any toppings even after we told them what we wanted. You should not have to keep asking to add more when we have already requested. When I heated up my pizza later in the microwave for THIRTY SECONDS my wife came downstairs thinking I burned toast because of the smell. My wife said her mega dough pizza was like chewing on rubber.There were two workers and absolutely no other patrons so there is no excuse for this. I just moved here in shadow Washington and I live in Maryland for 60 years. I have always seen mod pizza in Maryland, but not a lot though but the year it's all over the place I have tried one pizza for the first time only here in Château, Washington and the rest is history just past two weeks alone I've been there Seven times already. Whoever owns this BRAND NEW location needs to go and take ownership of it. There was not one worker in there that seemed to care. It was painful watching the guy make our pizzas. Had to redo the sauce and proceeded to do it just as bad the second time and then just walked away in frustration. The toppings were great but that has nothing to do with the service. Just threw them on with no sort of care. Half the pizza barely had anything on it. Food was done quick but I think you need to teach them how to cut pizza (see photo). I had one HUGE side of pieces and one tiny side. If I was the owner I would be embarrassed. Oh and then to top it off, we bought a salad and then they proceeded to tell us after that they didn't have forks. The salad was put in a mod bowl to obviously be eaten there but how? Without a fork? Ended up walking to Dairy Queen to get a fork. Embarrassing. We then watched multiple people order salads behind us and then told the same thing after the fact. Were they not going to tell anybody until the money was in the till? Embarrassing. Like wtf? Don't sell salads if you don't have forks. Embarrassing. Food on the floor. Embarrassing. I love mod. This is the FIRST mod of many that I have not been satisfied at all with. You're lucky to get one star and even luckier to get my business again. Yes, it was that bad. They screw up the toppings and they like to "add" drizzle to pizza you didn't ask for. I love how all the reviews are basically complaining about a brand new staff, who's still fine tuning everything that's brand new to them. Come on, give them a break! This area complains that we don't have variety of places to eat, yet all they do is rip apart every new business. It's week one, learn some compassion and give some grace. If you are too busy to be patient, cook for yourself at home. I though the place was clean, the food came out great! It was a longer wait than usual but I understand and was not in a rush. The staff seemed very focused on making everything correct, balancing all the new skills they are learning and being as helpful as possible. It's great to have a new food establishment in the community and great to see so many young kids getting a start in the workforce. Keep up the good work and welcome to town! read more

So happy to see Mod Pizza in Milton! They were fast, courteous, and delicious! I highly recommend their no name cakes -- so good after a pizza or salad. Since it's a newer location it wasn't super busy when I went in but the experience was consistent with other mod pizza locations. On multiple occasions, I was the only person in the entire store and was asked to wait 15-30 minutes just to put in my order as they are preparing online orders. At least two times I've had to walk away due to the lack of service. They advertise superfast pizza and it is unfortunately quite the opposite. Really really slow. I think all the servers were high tbh. Food was ight but it took them wayyyy too long to make it. All of them are slow.

Called at 9:40pm on Monday 5/20 to do an order for pick up. The person who answered told me they don't do orders over the phone? Uh since when? I'm assuming they didn't want to take my order because they close at 10pm. I asked to talk to the manager and she said her manger is standing right here. And when I asked to talk to them no one got on the phone. Eventually I hung up. Pretty disappointed in the customer service. Granted, yes I called 20 minutes before closing. But that's closing at 10pm correct not 9:40pm. If they would have said something along the lines of "sorry we stop taking orders at XYZ time" I would understand. Not bluntly LIE and refuse service because of being lazy and wanting to go home. Hope the person I spoke to gets addressed about this situation. After my first couple of unsuccessful visits I decided to go the online route where it was much easier to place. Todays order: Large pie, pesto sauce, bacon,Canadian bacon, pepperoni, & Mozzarella with a balsamic fig glaze. Not too hard right? NOPE....First off the small amount of cheese was ridiculous, 6 pieces of pepperoni, 3 pieces of Canadian bacon and clumps what looked like bacon crumbles nearest the crust ridge which was all but swimming in the balsamic fig glaze. C'mon guys what the heck, it's a pizza a glaze is just that a light amount of finishing sauce on the pie not pools of it on sections of the pie. That killed it for me but more important is paying better attention to cook times. Not every pizza is a thin crust and nobody likes undercooked pizza at anytime. It's just pizza how hard is it to prepare? We've all made it at home at one point...You're supposed to be pros at this... hopefully this changes in the next few weeks, we'll see.. read more

this visit was on 9/11/23 so let me start off by saying I didn't think my food was gonna be correct!,,,,,, only because it was closing time five minutes until the doors closed ........and everyone in there was super excited. They were happy. They were very polite. They just made my day and I was having a bad week, so when I came in there, I wasn't in the best mood, but when I left after the conversations I had with (Dan,Tarah and Tristan )!!!I hope I got their names and spelling correct was amazing they took care of us. They were polite. I was apologetic that we were still in there at closing time and they were OK with it. They were like no you are ok here. We're gonna take care of you let me start off by saying my pizza was cooked perfectly. I got five pizzas two salads and some sort of split bread pizza thank you and everything was amazing. It was cooked correctly. The salads was perfect. It was just a good time. it was a really really good time. The conversation was really good and I had an amazing time. I never leave reviews just because I don't have the time to. But as you can tell This one is late but I want to thank the staff at MOD Pizza, because I needed that laugh. I needed that conversation. The sense of urgency and working through the long line definitely needs to improve a 25 minute wait in line is crazy. Hopefully this will improve the longer they are open. The pizza was good and better than some of the other Mod locations. I will definitely be back, but will be waiting a few months. read more
