Just landed in Austin a few hours ago and just wanted something quick and filling. I searched up good pizza places and MOD pizza popped up, it reminded me much of the blaze pizza I have back home so I was sold. The environment is very clean, spacious, and welcoming. The pizza though is what has me wishing we had one back home! I got the 11in thick dough ( AMAZING dough , so soft and fluffy ), the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. I went in yesterday late afternoon and was shocked at a pretty empty store. That was great for me as I was getting 4 to go pizzas. The girl behind the counter (I didnt get her name) as the nicest and sweetest girl ever.she asked about my day..asked about my baby (I am almost 8 months pregnant) she was so nice..after she was done making all 4 of my pizzas super fast she rang me up. Bagged up my no names while I made my drinks. And when my pizzas were done she even carried them out to my car. We LOVE MOD pizza! We been there 3 times. Last night was the best! We ordered take out! We've eaten in before and we were the only ones in there because I don't think the the public realizes that you can dine in! The sign is misleading saying that they offer curbside! They are practically next door to where I work, so the temptation is always there. I will never want to eat fast food pizza again with Mod pizza in town. Mod pizza is fast, but definitely not fast food. They have fresh ingredients, friendly staff, & usually keep it pretty clean...Which I am sure is hard to keep up with when they always have people coming & going. You can sit inside or outside, which is great for days when you want to spend time in the sunshine. They always get my order right. & the price is on point. They have a great caesar salad there too! If caesar isn't your thing you can custom make your own. Seriously this is a great spot to get your pizza fix. I don't think I will ever go back to dominos again. read more

Inefficiency at it's best. I ordered a menu item and I still get asked what I want on it. The person making the pizza is reading the board behind me. Mushrooms and sausage. Simple. I then wait. I LOVE this place! The quality food, friendly and prompt service and fun atmosphere make it perfect for all occasions. I especially want to comment on the fact that it is run by young people who are very helpful and enjoyable to interact with--shout out to Corporate Mod for creating this culture! I've eaten here many times and have never seen or had the experience that @Heath H describes. Maybe Heath was having a bad day and needed someone to blame. I found his comments not only opposite of my multiple experiences but very inappropriate to post a picture of a worker. I've worked in the service industry and it is a hard job for not much money. My husband and I ate here for the first time tonight, as we'd been hearing how good it was and wanted to try it out. We ordered our pizza online and picked it up. My husband said the staff were really nice, greeted him with a smile when he came in. Our pizza's were yumm - a nice crust - not overdone nor too doughy. We each had a different pizza and both had just the right amount of toppings so it was a perfect melange of flavour in each bite. We will definitely eat there again, and sit in next time. I'm Not sure what has happened here ??? We went back yesterday and purchased 3 pizzas. One for our mom and one for each of us, they were ALL Super Salty !! We each had different toppings so it was either the sauce or the cheese they're using, we're not sure ?? None of us couldn't figure it out ?? Also, it seemed like mine was undercooked, it was really soggy and difficult to pick up !! I usually get the same toppings so I'm not sure what went wrong !! We took them home to eat, otherwise we would have talked with the manager on duty! We wonder if any of the other guests experienced the same with the excessive salty taste ?? (The following review I made was from 10 months ago !!) My husband and I are new to the area and we decided to get a quick dinner. I checked out Mod Pizza on Yelp and their reviews were great !! We can see why !! I love the fact that their pizzas are one price for each 6" or 11" pies, no matter how many toppings !! Great deal and Delicious ! I've only ordered from Mod Pizza once before, which was several years ago. At that time, I got a pizza. I wasn't terribly impressed, but it was probably my combination of ingredients. Tonight, I decided to get a salad to go. It was a large salad and I could put anything I wanted on it. It was pretty good. I'd probably get it again. My complaint: when I paid at the register, I picked up one of their KEY LIME NO NAME CAKEs. It sounded so good. I left the restaurant with my salad to go and key lime cake. On my way home, I took a bite of the key lime no name cake. To me, it was HORRIBLE! I couldn't eat another bite. I called the restaurant and asked if I could come back and exchange it for a chocolate one. The very young lady said she had to ask her co-worker. She came back and said I couldn't return it because I had taken a bite. I asked, again, if I could just exchange it for the other flavor. She said she was sorry but I could not. I asked if there as a manager. She said no and, when I asked when a manager might be working again, she didn't know. But, she did offer me the phone number for the corporate office. In other reviews, people referred to the employees as teens. Yes, they were teens and it seemed that no one was in charge. read more

I've gone here too much unfortunately. The last 3 times the pizza wasn't cooked fully. Today they tried to serve my an underdone pizza again. I asked for them to throw it in again. They proceeded to throw it back in the oven and dropped my pizza on the floor. The guy who cooks the pizzas didn't even tell me, I had to investigate. He didn't say sorry then he ridiculed us about how difficult it would be to get refunded. Terrible customer service and they can't cook a pizza... While the pizza and breadsticks remain disappointing (although you can freshen the breadsticks up by subbing the parm for mozz cheese), the salads are a highlight and why I still go back to MOD Pizza. I'm a giant fan of MOD, and go there on the way home when I get a chance. The first time I stepped into this location on my lunch break, everyone seemed rushed, and it wasn't that busy. I was over charged for a a Mini pizza. When I asked the cashier about it; she seemed to have an attitude. I was patient with the cashier while she looked for my card. Only for her, and her co worker to tell me they didn't know how to do a return at all. This company is great. I love their product; but it shouldn't be a problem to do a simple return for your employees. Not only they there was no effort to resolve the situation. This chain is great especially if one prefers thin crust. They offer build your own option or a selection of pizzas like the Casper. They offer assortment of ingredients as well as build your own salads. Beer and wine and awesome lemonade. Everything is freshly made and baked so it takes a bit more time but worth it. The ambience is very upbeat and have outdoor seating. My only take is that they need TVs but this is irrelevant to the dining experience. Service is always upbeat and friendly. read more

The pizza crust for my wife had holes in it, it wasn't the right size, and it was so thin it basically fell apart in the oven. Oh and what's the deal with having to ask a million times for extra stuff...if you asked for extra off the bat. Like, I said extra bacon, please don't make me ask 7 times to get extra bacon. We've been here a couple of times recently. The staff is fast, friendly, accurate and efficient. Great assortment of toppings and we love that you can get a variety of toppings for one price. My only issue is that I'm a no cheeser- there's so much cheese tossed around that I have to be very careful about the toppings I request. Took my family to eat there on Wednesday and we discovered a problem with one of the pizza's. I took it up to the counter and showed the lady she went and got her manager. At that point they had offered us another pizza but my wife didn't want to have another one. The manager address the concerns and said he would take it off of the tab. A restaurant's service should not depend on the employees working at the time you order your food, however, this is the case with this location. The pizza is not consistent: they skimp on the toppings, especially the cheese, the crust is either burnt or semi raw. Also, the toppings are not distributed evenly over the pizza. Tip: get double sauce and then extra of all your options. So good! They have a great gluten free crust (+$2). I learned my first trip they only give about a tablespoon of red sauce, which has loads of flavor, so doubling up does the pizza wonders. I got mozzarella, spinach, pepperoni and black olives. I was disappointed at getting very little of each topping, but my husband came along behind me and doubled all of his toppings and his looked great! Love this place. Always fast. Always fresh and amazing prices. I will say, the could clean up the dinning room a bit more often.

This place is the perfect casual night out. The staff is very friendly, the prices are low, and the wait time is short. The personal pizzas are a perfect size for one. There is outdoor seating, which is great when the weather is nice. My only word of caution-- (and this is pretty random, but important if you have kids) the door to the outdoor seating is so heavy!! So just keep an eye on your kids so that they don't slam their fingers in the doors or something. read more

Evidently if you order online your pizza will not be made until everyone who walked in to order in person has their order. It took 2 hours since I ordered a single pizza online. And an hour and half after the pickup time, before I got my single pizza. They say covid and all, businesses are reopening. But they literally just didn't cook any of the pizzas for people who had already paid, and unfortunately tipped. Lessons learned, avoid this location during peak hours. read more

We LOVE this place. My husband and I have complete opposite Pizza tastes, and my three boys only like cheese. Everyone gets exactly what they want here. I walked in 7 minutes before closing, and didn't realize it till after I ordered. The staff was super nice, and didn't mind helping me with a to-go order at all.
