Ordered a cheese pizza, they sent me pork. The driver didn't even ring the doorbell, cold pizza sitting outside for 15 mins

We just ordered a hand tossed which is supposed to be a little thicker crust, we could read the newspaper thru this pizza !!

Like what did they put in there?? Also, the diavolo pasta does have a kick to it, so be aware, but it's DELICIOUS. The only reason for 4 stars is for a bit of a rude service experience we had when trying to get seated. We were a group of 10, seat yourself and put your number down style. No tables had 10 seats but 2 tables right next to each other had 6 and 4. So we began to sit at those. Guy comes up and immediately aggressively "you don't need to do all that sit here (points at table with 8 chairs)". I say well we have 10 so we would need a couple more chairs. He's like "you could have just asked". We were literally just trying to be less of a hassle and I don't understand what's the "all that" we were doing in the context. Honestly it feels bad to even note this because of how good the rest of the experience was.

The restaurant is open, good seating, the display of pizza in the case is very appealing and appetizing. Its decor is well done. The pizza has fresh ingredients and tastes great. Crust is perfect. The lasagna was good but I would rather stick with the pizza. Just my taste. I did have the cannolis and compliments to them- they were authentic. Creamy, crispy shell, and the pistachio and chocolate chips were very good. My favorite. I suppose my only complaint was the pizza and lasagna were a little cool. It should have been a little warmer. The other issue which I hope they take note and move right away is the trash for plates and silverware. It is directly next to the fresh silverware and takeout boxes. That caught my attention and it's not a good place for the trash. Definitely plan to come back, it is worth coming and trying all the food items they have. Next time I might try one of the hot sandwiches and maybe some gelato but definitely the cannoli. That is the make or break for this NY Italian. Thanks for coming to the Domain. I am excited you are near my work. Best of luck.

As an unapologetic East Coast pizza snob, I usually approach Texas pizza with a massive amount of…read moreskepticism. I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.

I usually place a phone to-go order but it is a great place for a quick lunch or laid-back meal. The food is ready when promised. They have a very large menu with lots of options. My go-to is the Choice Sandwich with 1/3 of a pound of finest Choice Slice Honey Ham, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, dirty mustard and mayo, served on a toasted fresh baked bun. I usually add avocado for a nice creamy texture. This is one of my favorite sandwiches because it is served warm with the bun toasted and it hits the spot with the flavorful ham and all the toppings. If you are a new customer they will offer you a sampler plate where you can try all of their homemade side dishes. Some of my favorite are the shells and cheese and ham bone soup. Overall, a reliable choice if you're craving a hearty, well-made sandwich. I will continue to come back for more of the delicious ham!

This location is nestled in a shopping center that is easily missed. It's a good thing I had mapped it and was focused or I would have slid right on by! Like many places in the Austin Metro, parking is not great - but at least it's a dedicated lot and not street parking. Swedish Hill is on the end closest to the road across from the True Value Hardware. Upon entering the coffee shop, the line is all the way on the left and the counter is on the rear wall. There is is seating in three separate areas. One is straight ahead when entering. The second is to the right side of the order counter. The third is outdoors to the far right. We ordered coffee, Jasmine green tea, couscous salad, Persian cucumber salad, and a cookie. The food was tasty and beverages were hot. I was a bit surprised to see the salad selection unrefrigerated and uncovered on the counter. While pretty to look at, it also seems less appealing to order. For example, the glass noodles were spun into a nest shape on a slice of wood, but looked rather dried out. I found this a little off putting. This is a pleasant place to sit and chat. The vibe is calm and unassuming. There seems to be mostly laptops and chatting in the main area, moms and small kids on the side area. It's a busy place, and It was hard to find a spot. Overall, it was a relaxing lunch. I'd meet there again, but won't go out of my way for it. It's not spectacular but not bad either.
