The roast beef sandwich (Hunter's Club #10) is one of my favorites because they load the sandwich up with a healthy amount of medium rare roast beef.

A long time ago, I dined at their trunk on the East Side. Recently, we had a random weekday off and decided to have a little fun. By the time we drove home, we were hungry and realized we had nothing in the house, so we stopped in for a very late lunch. I try to avoid gluten whenever possible, and since I wasn't in the mood for a salad, they offered to make me a meatball dish, which was perfect. My husband ordered a pizza. The service was friendly, and the food was okay. However, since I don't eat gluten, my taste preferences may differ from others. If you enjoy gluten, this place is likely a good fit for you. It's worth noting that parking can be a bit tricky on busy nights. The restaurant has a huge patio and backyard space, and I'm glad to see it thriving in this location after many years of turnover. Price wise I think it is a bit high but isn't everything these days. Their service is five stars.

We started with the hummus, and the vegetables that came with it were amazing!! Super fresh and actually so flavorful. Definitely not your average hummus plate. I got the steak and eggs, and the potatoes were FIRE. So garlicky and flavorful, easily my favorite part of the whole meal. I also tried the Caesar wrap which honestly wasn't my favorite, just mostly lettuce tbh. But everything else was incredible so it didn't really take away from the experience. I also tried chicken bone broth for the first time and it was so flavorful and perfect for a Sunday. The overall vibe was really bright and relaxed, perfect reset after the weekend. Loved this place so much and would definitely come back again.

Plus, there's some nice outdoor seating so you can bring your dog. I will say that the prices are more than I can justify on a regular basis, but it feels like a nice, reasonably healthy splurge. The dishes are thoughtfully composed, well seasoned, and always fresh. Avocado toast is usually a throwaway offering, but they do it right here, fully loaded with pesto, heirloom tomato, and a ton of avocado. There have been some recent changes that are a bummer though. I'm really sad that they seem to have taken the vegan chorizo and potato hash off the menu, which was simply the best brunch dish. Happy hour options are also greatly reduced, leaving very little for vegans, and I'm sorry but on what planet is $8 for pickles a good deal? I still love the place, but it's not in regular rotation.

The fresh herbs were a bit excessive on the lamb sammie. Would have liked the lamb to be the dominant flavor, not the mint.

I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.

They're especially known for their Roman-style pizza so I highly recommend giving it a try. As for flavors, you really can't go wrong but the standouts for me were the Potato, Chicken Parm and Lasagna slices. They also serve calzones, New York-style pizza, gelato and wine, so there's truly something for everyone. The pizza is priced by the slice, which makes it easy to mix and match like I did, though you can also order a full pie. I will say this definitely isn't cheap pizza, but you're absolutely paying for quality ingredients and incredible flavor. I ended up taking mine to go, but they do have a few tables inside and outside if you want to dine in. With plenty of parking, fast service and mind-blowing flavors what more could you ask for from a pizza spot?

From the moment we arrived, the staff has consistently gone above and beyond, creating an atmosphere that truly defines hospitality. During our stay, I've had the chance to meet many of the people who work behind the scenes to make this resort feel welcoming and effortless for guests. Tonight's review is for Crenshaw's Bar & Eatery, a spot I've now visited several times during our stay. My first visit was simple -- just a quick glass of wine to unwind. The following evening, I returned for the mezze platter, which was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. Tonight, I stopped in again for a glass of pinot noir and ordered the Brussels sprouts, served with rich chunks of pork fat that elevated the dish into something memorable. Equally impressive was the service. My bartender, Cariel, was outstanding -- warm, engaging, and genuinely easy to talk with. Whether the conversation turned to sports, travel, or even Brussels sprouts, she made the experience feel personal rather than transactional. Over the past few days, encounters like this have reinforced what makes Omni Barton Creek stand out: a clear commitment to hiring people who understand service as both professionalism and connection. At Crenshaw's, guests can expect attentive, friendly service delivered with confidence and care -- a true extension of the resort's high standard of hospitality.

An order of their perfectly breaded and fried fish and chips is easily shared. My Steak Frites was a perfectly cooked medium/rare with a green peppercorn sauce. Do not sleep on their Texas chili with chopped brisket, served with jalapeño cornbread. They offer a full bar featuring some excellent local brews and specialty cocktails. I highly recommend the "Elevated" Margharita. Parking can be an adventure, especially if you are arriving at night.
