I don't usually write reviews for fast food (maybe one Sonic if I recall correctly), but sometimes it's necessary to give credit where credit is due. I've eaten at my fair share of TBs over the years. Like other FF chains, you pretty much know what to expect from Taco "Hell" in terms of food quality, service, and price. Typically meh...we're not talking 5-star dining here after all! However, after living in the area for over two years and visiting this Lakeway TB about a dozen times or so, I can honestly say "It's as good as it gets!" [taking into account the fast food factor]. Never an incorrect order, always super, super friendly employees (maybe that's why a few others have stated the staff are "weird" because they're not used to seeing smiling faces at joints like TB - lol - alien), and they take care in preparing the grub correctly. Icing: location was just completely remodeled; not that I ever thought it needed any TLC in the first place. So, snaps for Lakeway Taco Bell! I might feel bad about eating the food afterward, but am always a happy camper when making the trek home to munch and crunch in front of the dumb-box. :D There's a reason why they stay open late...and thanks for the spiffy wetnap and mints included in the bag...very much needed about that time! Just had dinner at this Taco Bell. Could not find one clean table to sit down at. I had to wipe one down myself. There were workers talking very loudly apparently complaining about a customer. In my opinion that time could have been better spent cleaning tables! There were literally cup tops and food under two of the tables. There were also two employees out for a smoke break. The place was not busy but no excuse for not using the time to clean the tables and floor. Do better Taco Bell we like eating here. read more

This has got to be the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. It took each person about 10 minutes sitting by the speaker waiting to order before the person would even acknowledge them (not an exaggeration). Then they messed up our order, badly. So we parked and went to go inside to get it fixed rather than waiting another 45 minutes in the line and the employee locks the door in front of us and tells us to go back to the line before we could even get a word in. People were walking up and then driving away after realizing they were locked out, assuming it was closed. Finally we got their attention after about 15 minutes of standing there to have our order fixed. Absolutely terrible service. read more

There was no meat at all and basically no filling in my crunch wrap. It was just tostada and tortilla with a tiny amount of cheese and a few pieces of lettuce. It was less than fast food quality and not worth entering the building to order. I'm not sure what the staff are doing here but they are not making food. Taco Bell are wasting money paying to maintain this building as the most basic food item is not even available here. I highly recommend that another franchise or small business takes over this building so we can have some better food options in the area instead of this junk. read more

Okay today I came back for another review the taco supreme was very good I was very pleased and I was happy that now they saw that I posted a less review than I wanted. I want everyone to know that if you come here you definitely will get very good customer service and the food will be better than it was before, several improvements on the way and also now so this is a 'update on the first review which was from yesterday to inform everyone that the food is got taste everything is everything is on Q everything is wonderful so reason why I'm giving a 4 star review enjoy and do make sure to notice how well everything will be served to you. Highly recommend the Krispy tacos I think that's one of the favorite things on my lemonade that I really liked which was today. Been to plenty of Taco Bell's in my time, foods always the same. Just what you'd expect. Quick and delicious. This review is for their customer service, they have an employee named Brian (Bryan(sp?) talk about making this a wonderful meal! He was kind, gave good advice on food/ drink choices! Wouldn't acknowledge my 13 year old trying to order at counter so I walked inside then they wouldn't acknowledge me until I spoke up... three people inside so not swamped... with all but one white staff member couldn't help but feel this was a whites only establishment... kept order down to one burrito and wasn't given receipt and still took a while to get burrito... took my fanily of seven to chicken express instead... never coming to this one ever again. Stood in line with several others waiting on mobile orders. They move very slow here, and don't greet you or even look in your direction. This taco bell customer service is very rude management Jennifer is always disrespectful and always cussing in front of customers. She needs to be put in the back and do the cooking and stay away from the front and be more aware of her surroundings with her attitude. My husband and I had the rudest young woman we have EVER experienced at a restaurant!. We had ordered some tea with our meal, and when we got to the window, she argued with us that we had not ordered it. It wasn't a big deal and we payed for a cup then, but she kept letting us know we did not order it and it wasn't her fault. We weren't even upset until she told us she "wouldn't tolerate disrespect". When we asked her name, she slammed the window on us. I don't know who the manager/owner is, but this person has some real emotional problems. I know it's hard to find good help but this person has some real issues and probably should not deal with the public in any capacity! read more

I want to give our local Taco Bell a shout out, they have made it. Their staff is always so friendly even when teammates are no shows.

We went here twice. The first time was to get a quick meal during our stay at a friend's house since we couldn't cook and the second was to get a corrected order from the first trip. They messed our entire order up the first time and then the second time the food we got was terrible anyways so I guess there is just no way to win at this Taco Bell location. Our order wasn't fancy and it also took a very long time for a pretty simple order. Five crunchy tacos and four bean burritos shouldn't take ten minutes to get ready, right? Not only do they make constant mistakes, but half the time they're closed during normal business hours, without any type of sign or warning. My wife Made me wait a while until I calmed down to write this review. I went to Taco Bell Lakeway to get my wife's favorite, steak quesadillas and my favorite, crispy super tacos. When I got home (15 minute drive) we opened the package and noticed there was less meat in the quesadillas than normal but even worse, my tacos were soggy and almost totally meatless. I have never taken back a meal before and was even more reluctant considering the 15 minute drive but this was RIDICULOUS!! I actually measured the meat and it was less than a teaspoon. I took the meal back and when I spoke to the manager through the drive thru and told him the problem., he asked how long ago I purchased it, which was now about 45 minutes. When I told him, he and the other employees laughed and he said that is why it's soggy. He then opened the bag and said, "I can see a little meat." I told him it was less than a teaspoon and he replied, DUDE.... I would love to give you a FU..ing handful of meat but this is FU...ing TACO BELL. He actually used the profanity. I responded, I am NOT your DUDE! He responded, "yeah I don't OWN you. I'm still trying to figure out that response. Another maskless employee, one of two who was not wearing a mask, who was the one who served originally served me, came to the window and glared at me. I'm a former cop. The attempt at intimidation didn't work. I have been to other Taco Bells previously and subsequently and haven't had a problem. I absolutely love taco bell but this one is NOT the one to go to. Seriously. I've gone about 5 times within a week and everytime i go, they are closed. The website says open, and they are not. I came today and the employee told me they were closed until 3, so i came back at 7:00pm and they wouldn't even take my order. I have never left a bad review on yelp but the time has come. The last 5 times we have tried to come here they were closed, today was on a Saturday night at 7pm. The time before this they ran my card for $40 worth of food then told me they were out of beans, I said just throw some other stuff in there and make it right.
