MODZ! I honestly love this place. It's a wood-fired pizza spot where you can build your own, and it's super affordable. The servers are generous with the toppings, which is awesome. Usually, it's not too busy, but during our last visit, there was a kid's party, and we had to wait about 30 minutes. My go-to base is the spicy + regular red sauce, but honestly, their white sauce and pesto are just as amazing. If you're looking for an affordable, delicious, and quick wood-fired pizza, this is the perfect spot!

I was disconnected on each time I tried calling.

Myself, my daughter, bestie and her son decided on MOD for lunch after a day at the nurseries. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. During Covid19, inside dining isn't allowed. I tried unsuccessfully calling in my order but was disconnected on each time. We finally decided to place our orders inside. Inside floors are clearly marked with the appropriate social distancing lengths. The kitchen area was clean and well organized. I ordered a mini unlimited topping pizza for $6.97 and a bottle of Blue Moon beer for $4. The pizza toppings were fresh and sufficient for the size. The crust was super thin and a bit under-cooked. They were out of bread sticks. The staff members were unfriendly, borderline rude. Overall, MOD is a fun and inexpensive way to eat pizza. In the future I will choose a different location to order from instead of this location.

This is my Great pizza and I love it. Keep up the hard work.

This is how a pizza is made. Thank you MOD Pizza for my delicious pizza. The price for the pizza is a great price. Please don't raise the price of the pizza. The two gentlemen that worked there were great to deal.

Mmmm, my own masterpiece!!!

Mod Pizza, moving up in the world with actual plates and everything. Caramelized pear iced tea is just the thing to wash down the deliciousness that is Mod. Friendly service, excellent pizza and great music make this a great place to get a quick meal. We came in on a Monday night just before closing, and were greeted warmly by all the staff. I came with some people from out of town who were quite impressed with the food. The notion of building your pizza any way you like was especially attractive to everyone. I ordered my usual Maddie with extras -- thus time was chicken, can bac, brussels sprouts, roasted garlic, gorgonzola finished with the balsamic fig glaze. Not only is this pizza fast and yummy, but it's pretty, too. I am super impressed with this particular store because of the amazing service, and the fact you get your pizza on actual plates! You all need to experience Mod at least once in your life.

This was taped under my pizza. Delicious. Not.

In long We heard great things about this place even before it opened; the grapevine just had awesome news about this space finally turning into something that would stick. We pulled up today and immediately noticed the outdoor play area for the kids. It's cordoned off by oak wine barrels, so they're kinda blending their concepts artfully before you even walk in. We're not *that* local, but we definitely buy the idea that there are few, if any, great kid-friendly places around here. Inside, it might be pretty packed already. There are big heavy wooden tables, with more upstairs. You can push them together for groups. You get laminated menus, and they do have table service, or you can order at the counter. They very carefully manage all their beers, wines, ciders, canned cocktails, and so on. Rumor has it they lured a brewer away from Urban Family and will be churning out their own stuff soon. We checked out 2 things from the regular menu and 3 from the HH menu. It wasn't too packed at first, but by 4:00 the regulars, families, and HH crowd were really filling it up. Wines We tried the pinot grigio, red blend, chardonnay, and rosé from the by-the-glass menu. They're all good enough to order most any place, and finding them by the glass shows they're putting real thought into all the details here. Miso pickles Absolutely ridiculously good. Nice seasoning, tart miso flavor, crunchy fresh cauliflower, carrot, and cukes. Would not only order again but attempt to reverse-engineer these and have them at home. Great HH value. Fried pickles Great with or without the cheese that's softened on some (but not all) of the piles. Awesome dipping crema with a bit of kick from hot peppery seasoning. Drummies No longer offered with green buffalo sauce, which sounds like a sad farewell, based on the description of it (jalapeño & vinegary hot sauce, I think). But the gochujang was buttery and peppery. They pressure-fry the wings so they are crazy tender and moist. Humongous drums, too. Awesome HH value--true, you get only 2, but there's plenty of veg in the bowl. Smashburger Another fantastic HH menu item. Nice fresh crunchy toppings, hearty roll, and beautifully seasoned and cooked patty. Not too crunchy, which I appreciate. Easy to imagine someone ordering more than one and getting way too full. Smokey Dipper Regular menu. Awesome grilled steak flavor to the meat, got some salty broccoli mixed in for crunch and variety. The broc would be a good appetizer on its own! Hearty, savory jus, and the onion rings are out of this world. Even I couldn't finish them all, despite how great they tasted. Super generous portion. The staff here are all free spirits and great conversationalists, which is super nice to see. Nothing about this place feels like a chain in any way, although they clearly put real money into the buildout. Such a welcome addition to Lake.

We quickly were able to find a table and were greeted by such a wonderful waitress. She was truly a gem. She bantered with us and gave us speedy top notch service. However, this part does not reflect her or anyone foh; I ordered the fish and chip bucket and was presented with what I can only describe as the box of turkish delights bequeathed to Edmund in the chronicles of Narnia. That night I ended up praising my toilet all night. I thought maybe someone spiked my 6 beers but then remembered I only had the 2. I haven't been sicker than a got dang dog like that in a real long time. I don't think there's anyway to describe the scene in my bathroom other than 1970s Vietnam war crimes. Once again Service was great. Waitstaff was so fun. I just didn't enjoy the side of food poisoning that was given to me. The best part is because of the waitstaff I Will probably go again! (after I forget what it tasted like coming back up of course)

We stayed anyway for pizza and drinks and I'm so glad we did. It happened to be the day before my birthday so, beforehand, I looked up to see if they had any birthday promos. Sure enough, they did, so I downloaded their app and was treated to $10 off of my purchase. Score! I was also very impressed (understatement) by their taproom so I had to get one of the RFID bracelets used to activate the beer and wine wall taps and check it out. I was having a bit of choice paralysis at first. There are SO many beers, wines, and ciders to choose from! The grapefuit Hefeweizen called out to me--like being chosen by one of Olivander's wizarding wands--and sweet nectar of the gods, it was the best beer I've ever had. The pizza is phenomenal too . I'm pretty boring when it comes to toppings so I got my usual. My friend got the Mac n cheese and bacon one, which I never would have ordered. But I'll admit when I'm wrong. It looked to die for. As if the $10 off birthday promo wasn't generous enough, they gave our table a complimentary order of the cinnamon balls and they were the perfect way to finish our epic meal. But that Grapefruit Hefeweizen? It haunted me. I'm someone who drinks beer maybe twice a year, but I had to have more. So a few days later we had a relative visit from out of town. We met for a meal in Burlington. I ALMOST suggested going to the Coconut Kenny's there but was disappointed to find out that the tap room isn't a feature at all CK locations. We had a forgettable meal at Red Robin instead. But the grapefruit hef still had me under its spell. So the following week, when my husband and I had a date night, we had originally planned to go to a fancy steakhouse. We diverted to Lake Stevens Coconut Kenny's instead for some more awesome pizza and the Grapefruit Hef I'd been craving all week. THAT time they had a BOGO promotion going on, so we ordered two pizzas and one of them was FREE. Husband had the mango sour beer. He's not much of a beer drinker, but as he took his first sip and then another, an ethereal glow seemed to spread from within. His beer had chosen him, too. And that, my friends, is how we swore fealty to Lake Stevens Coconut Kenny's. The beer will give you wings.

The straight scoop:…read more I've lived in San Francisco, Boston, and most every major city in between including Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Scottsdale, SoCal, Salt Lake City, and many others. For cities I haven't lived in, I've probably traveled to them with my job. I'd consider myself somewhat of a pizza connoisseur as a result... Having retired in Seattle, I've had a few years now to search for what I feel is the best pizza - - understanding of course that everyone has their own preferences and tastes. I found my favorite yesterday - not just in the Northwest, but of all time, anywhere. My wife and I read about this small chain and decided to meet some family members for lunch. The inside has this nice little island theme that's really cool, fun, and inviting. Nice mix of booths and tables and nicely spread out so you're not tripping over your neighboring tables. The first thing I noticed was the approx 40 beer/wine taps on the wall but unfortunately I had things to do that afternoon and opted for a drink-station soft drink instead. Pro tip: download the app ahead of time and know what you want to get BEFORE you walk in, as you place your order at the counter instead of servers coming to your table. Knowing what you want ahead of time makes it a lot quicker, and you don't clog up the lobby area. I had the 7" Big Kahuna, and my wife ordered the 7" Waikiki - the crust was caramelized, the red sauce was extremely tasty, the red onions were sliced thin (so they cooked quickly without the pungent taste,) and the toppings were loaded. The best part, it wasn't overly-cheesed so you were able to taste the proteins. My sister-in-law had the spinach chicken salad and loved it, and my brother-in-law opted for a sandwich - - there was nothing left on his plate (and the sandwich was HUGE.) It's a 15 mile drive for us, but believe me I'd go to Coconut Kenny's if it was double that.

Overall not bad. Havarti sandwich was actually fairly good, the bread however was so thick it was just a little too much. But not horrible. Now to the appetizers... I have to say just gross. The brussel sprouts were pretty much burnt. We did not eat them. The fried pickles were soggy and seeming to be full of oil. Did not eat them either. When the server came by he was like are you enjoying your food or like well we don't really like these so we're not going to eat them. He's like oh that's too bad. The bacon jam and sandwich dressing makes the sandwich really sweet, but the Angus sauce is very salty, and so when the sandwich is dipped it all balances out interestingly enough. It was good to try, but I think I'll order something else next time. I also got a Mocha latte- very smooth and delicious. I would get this again!
