Can't go wrong with Mod pizza for lunch or anytime really. Service is always good and obviously it's made to how you order. Except my Caesar salad had tomatoes in it for some reason. I did walk away after ordering it so I didn't see them add tomatoes till after I had left. I did have to ask for a fork and napkins as there was none available. I used to be a big fan of MOD pizza, as I could customize it to my liking, but then just stopped going as part of my low carb lifestyle. . We went here recently after a very long time, I would say at least 5-7 years. The first thing I Noticed was that I could substitute the crust for cauliflower crust, so we were back in business. We got our pizzas with cauliflower crust and the other one with the gluten-free crust. As you can tell by the photos that the toppings were stacked and packed on our pizza. All your favorite toppings are available and you can ask for as much as you like on the pizza. I planned my stop at this location since the night before as I needed to pick up lunch and drive across town and meet my grandson for grandparents lunch @ school. I was at their doors sharp at 10:30 am, the minute I walked in was welcomed with, we are NOT ready! Absolutely no eye contact was made during our interaction. And his unenthusiastic of sprinkling toppings on my personalized pizza gave me the impression that he didn't want to be making pizzas. Results...a mediocre pizza. To add to the disappointment, as we were eating, I looked around the the overall cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. I've come here a few times and each time, the experience is about the same. I find this to be one of my preferred pizza places for the simple fact that you can switch up your order (even though we all know I get the same thing lol) Atmosphere/Service- The atmosphere is very chill. It almost has a hipster vibe, which is cool. When you walk in, you go up to the front and first decide what size pizza you'd like, which sauce and then your toppings. It's fairly quick but make sure you talk in a louder voice because sometimes the background noise is a lot. Everyone's pretty friendly there and they seem to be helpful if you've never been there before, which is nice. Food- I always get the MOD sized pizza. It's a generous portion and if you're someone who can't eat a lot in one sitting, you'll definitely have leftovers. On my pizza, I get the red sauce, sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, pineapple (yes, pineapple does belong on pizza), blue cheese, jalapeños, red onions, mushrooms, black olives and sometimes the seasoning at the end. It sounds kind of gross, but it's really good. I like that you can choose WHATEVER toppings you want. You don't get charged for two meats VS just one, if that makes sense. The pizza always come out nice and hot from the brick oven they use and the crust has the right amount of crunch to it. This was unfortunately the first time I stepped into this MOD's location and the last. I normally love MOD's and was excited to find out I had one nearby. I ordered an online pickup order and the second I walked in it was mayhem. Seemed like the employees had no flow of how to work together. Lines of people waiting for food. No structure. At least 4 customers who came in after me received their order before mine had even been looked at. The only good thing I could say about this place was how the manager handled so many disgruntled customers. She was under a lot of stress and she took the time to apologize to each one of us, offer us a beverage, and even offered me a refund due to how long I waited. I came here for lunch, and they advertise super fast... but it actually took my pizza about 25-30 minutes (from beginning to actually receiving the pizza in hand)... again not sure if thats normal... but doesn't seem "super fast." I decided to get 2 mini pizzas (6 inch) I believe it was the Mad Dog (meat lovers) the kids size pizza is really small! For my son I definitely should have ordered him a bigger size because he was still hungry after eating the pizza. The customer service was ok. The workers were helpful and there was no long wait either which was great! There sweet tea is actually pretty good too. I tasted a bite of my son's pizza and I didn't think it was anything special. Maybe we should've tried a 'create your own' pizza. The mini small pizza was about $8 each. From what I tasted not worth the price, however I think we'll give this place a second chance and try another pizza. read more
