This is our local Mod Pizza so we frequent it often. The ingredients always look fresh and the pizzas come out in a timely manner. Somehow they always get the cook right so that when you evite into your pizza you don't burn your mouth. All employees were nice and even when there was a line behind us the employee making our pizza was still taking his time preparing ours. The dining area is mostly clean and spacious so it's good for big families or just gatherings.

I like this location the best. The pizza always come out so perfect and the staff here is super friendly. I do really like the concept of unlimited toppings and It's somehow very satisfying to build your own pizza. Although it's not your fancy, upscale pizza restaurant, but their freshly made dough and fresh ingredients do hit the spot. Definitely be back.

Regular Size Pizza (sorry I finished the pizza before writing my review so the only thing I had for a pic was the box)

SUBWAY OF PIZZA (FRIENDLY STAFF & SUPER CONVENIENT LOCATION) This place is a must try if you live in the clear lake area. The best way I can compare it to something most ppl know is it is a similar concept to subway but for pizza instead of sandwiches. They're actually better than subway in that they don't up-charge you for an extra few olives or whatever toppings you want more of like some a-holes try to do at subway ( oh I'm sorry sir, 3-4 more olives is gonna be an additional 82cents; oooh okay) smh. Anyways they cater to meat lovers like me but also have many options for vegetarians and ppl with gluten free restrictions. The pizza can come out delicious but it really depends on you since you create it. Sometimes, I admit, I go to wild with adding toppings that I regret it afterwards but sometimes it comes out awesome. So if your pizza comes out awesome, take note of what you picked so you can recreate it the next time you visit. The process is simple: you pick your crust (regular or gluten free), you pick your toppings, then they throw it an awesome fire oven pit that preps your pizza in 5 min or less. I like mine well done (kind of crispy) and they're more than happy to cater to your taste. It comes out to $8.95 for their regular size pizza, which in my opinion feeds 1 adult or 2 kids. Totally worth it Hope you enjoy!!!! P.s. their red velvet cake bites are a delicious little dessert at the end, especially if you take yours to-go and throw that "no-name cake" in the microwave for 10-20 seconds

Pumpkin for the sauce , sweet potato included in the toppings!

By far the best pizza of my life; my family and I come here every other month. You first go in and after choosing your sauce (tomato, olive oil , Alfredo, or BBQ) you choose your toppings...which are EXTENSIVE. There are enough selections of savory meats to make a lion happy and enough delicious veggies to give a bunny dry heaves. I always get a mod sized pizza with olive oil pesto ricotta Canadian bacon beef and every cheese that they have. But here's the cool part...there are usually seasonal selections... so I got to use honest to God PUMPKIN as my sauce today and it was freaking delish! Ok and here's the rub...it's thin crust at this joint, but it's not cracker thin. No my friends, it's more like the kind you get at an upscale pizza place. ProTip: skip the pop and get the Marionberry lemonade. You'll thank me later

Custom Mod sized pizza is excellent, add as many & as much toppings as you want for no extra charge!!!

Whenever I am in Clear Lake I like to eat at MOD at least once. Initially thought it was just one location....lol. Did not realize they are all over the USA & in England too. I live in Dallas and while there are some close by there is not on inside the metroplex, would love to see one pop up. PIZZA: Two sizes Mini & MOD, you can pick a pre-made one (my mom likes the Dillon James) or you can make your own. The best part is it is just ONE PRICE for unlimited topping or one topping. No extra charges no matter what topping/s you choose. I usually get the MOD size and am pretty full with about one slice left. I am a creature of habit her and get spinach, ricotta cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, basil, garlic, roasted garlic, oregano, Asiago cheese, mozzarella cheese with the red sauce. Hungry just thinking about it. Lemonades are great too, I like to mix half lemonade with half unsweetened tea. Staff: Very friendly and if you ask for a topping and they put it on you can always ask for more of that topping and they will keep loading it on without any push back which I really like!

Delicious!! Wow if I could give more stars I would. I got a pizza with a little bit of everything. They have a great selection of fresh ingredients. One pizza is really enough for two people and if you can't agree they will make a half and half. The blackberry lemonade was made fresh and it was fantastic. I highly recommend this place unless you are looking for the bland and boring. The service was excellent and the restaurant was spacious clean and relaxing.

Brick oven pizza, thin crust, all you can add toppings without the price getting crazy?! Yes please! So we all have different tastes in my family and the kids enjoy getting to choose exactly what they want. They also have pizza salads/ salads. You go down the line and tell them yes or no on which toppings you want (there are tons!) and pay at the end. They're super fresh toppings can't go wrong!

Had some heavily customized pizzas at Mod with the family, and we all enjoyed our creations. The ingredients were fresh, selections were plentiful, staff was friendly, and service was quick. While the pizza quality itself may not be as high as some of the "finer" pizzerias in Houston that make their dough to order, these are fresh, quick, and hit the spot. I'd definitely come here again!

I've been intending to try this place for a few weeks. Today was the day. You order your pizza at a counter. Like Subway subs, you tell them the toppings you want, they build the pizza while you watch. Or, you can order one of their predefined pizzas -- but that's no fun. The price is per size and doesn't change no matter how many toppings you add. When it's ready they call your name and you pick it up. When I arrived there was no line so my experience may be better than if there's a crowd. What may be the sweetest girl in the world waited on me (she probably raised my rating a star.) My pizza was ready as fast as they advertise, maybe faster. I don't know if mine was an exception or standard, but it wasn't sliced. In tearing it apart much of the toppings came off. I guess I would rate the pizza 3 stars and the experience 4. Chances are I won't be back. There are better pizza places in the area. __ I've eaten out every meal for more than 25 years.

A few of the dirty tables.

Our 1st time to any Mod location and we couldn't believe how filthy it was. The floor behind the counter was awful (I couldn't get photos because employees were back there). I couldn't believe the amount of food on the floor in the prep area. It was disgusting. There was food all over the dining area too. All of the tables were dirty except for the one we chose and it was super sticky. It looked like the staff hadn't cleaned or tended to dining area in hours. I didn't even want to see the bathroom if dining area was this bad. Pizza wasn't that great either. We weren't impressed at all and will not be returning.

    Gluten free pizza!

Have always loved MOD Pizza! Now I don't have to drive out to Pearland or Pasadena for my own custom pizza! This was their soft opening, it was pretty busy in there. I had ordered a Mad Dog on gluten free crust, it came with pepperoni, sausage and mozzarella cheese. It was super good!! First time having gluten free crust. I enjoyed it! 1. Very friendly staff! They greeted me as soon as I walked in! Very nice! 2. The line went really smoothly, I knew what I wanted it. Easy to read menu 3. Really nice atmosphere, I see myself coming here to do homework and just to have meetings with friends! 4. There's an outside area to eat 5. Right next to HEB!

Now, we were aware that the ultimate bowls would have large portions because our friend warned us about that, but we were not expecting the chicken zoodle bowl to also be the same size. The portions here were huge. We did not finish any of the items that we got and had to take everything to go and were able to eat it for another 1-2 meals. They were really generous with the amount of protein given and the flavors were good. The pricing was really worth it also.

We ordered, paid, and within about 5 minutes it said Meya was on the way with our order. Clearly that was a lie, since we sat there waiting for our food for nearly 30 minutes!! We even pressed the button after about 20 minutes to see if we could speak to someone, but no one replied (shocker!). When we FINALLY got our food and got home, the tots barely had enough to fill the bottom of the basket, the burger was greasy and smashed looking, and they forgot my ranch. If something had been going on to prevent them from bringing our food out in a timely manner, we would have understood, but we weren't even offered an explanation. Just an awkward chuckle when we said we thought they forgot about us. If you don't care about your customers as an establishment, then close your doors and go out of business. The food was also wildly mediocre, and was nowhere near the 30 minute wait, or being ignored by the staff. Bonus- none of the food in the picture is actually chicken. Just the crusty fried bits. There were, in total, about 5 actual pieces of chicken in the "jumbo popcorn chicken". The rest was this. Crispy fried bits that taste like nothing other than fry oil.
