I really like the food so my rating is all about service unfortunately. I ordered online to hopefully reduce the wait. Earliest pickup time was 1 hour which sucked but no worries. The irritating part about everything was they didn't even start making my pizza until I got here. I understand when it's busy but seriuosly there was only 1 person there and I think it was another employee. Mod Pizza is like Subway for pizza and I loved it. They have different types of pizza to choose from and the best part is that you get to add and subtract any ingredients you want to. For my first time I did the Caspian, which is BBQ chicken with mozzarella, gorgonzola, chicken, barbecue sauce & sliced red onions. I added pineapple and olives to it. Other than having a little too much sauce on it, it was really tasty and I liked the thin crust. The mini Mod at 6 inches is perfect for one person and the prices are really reasonable. They also serve salads, garlic strips and the delicious cinnamon strips, which I would recommend with the cinnamon glaze! I enjoyed it and will be back! read more

First visit to this MOD Pizza location, I've eaten at their Beaverton & Hillsboro locations a couple of times. I must say this location seemed to have fresher ingredients and the pizza was cooked perfectly and not burnt like a couple I've had at other locations. This visit was our second visit to MOD Pizza but a first at the Clackamas/Happy Valley location. We are not impressed to say the least. One of 3 of the people who assisted with topping our pizzas and salads was kind and helpful. The other two had poor attitudes and rushed us through line. They pushed our first pizza through with my husband and one pizza and a salad through the line with me. I had two people asking me what I wanted on my items at the same time and getting annoyed with me because I didn't answer as quick as I think they wanted me to because I was in the middle of answering the other worker. I was displeased with how little of the toppings they put on my pizza (like 5 Pepperonis, 6 tiny pieces of Canadian bacon and a tablespoons worth of bacon). When our pizzas were ready they came out pretty crispy and kind of burnt. One pizza wasn't cut, at all. Overall, it still tasted pretty good but they didn't live up to the expectations the other location set for us. We will eat MOD pizza again but we may very well drive farther to eat at the Sherwood location. The atmosphere felt friendlier there and their service was much better than the Clackamas location. read more

So the corporate sprawl of this place has bugged me a bit, and I didn't want to like it, mostly because Happy Valley is flush with chains and needs more mom and pop restaurants. That said, it wasn't half bad. The service was friendly and spot on. Employees seem to enjoy their work, and you get a real "corporate culture" vibe. The ingredients were good, sauces good, menu somewhat inventive for a pizza chain, and the local beer and wine on tap is a good bonus. The sizes are awesome, too. Mini is perfect - everyone in the minivan brigade can order their own. If you eat a lot, go Mod size. The crust was less like pizza crust and more like flatbread, which I guess is what has to happen to turn pizza into fast food, but it did seriously detract from the finished product for me. Also, the location is kinda sucky for traffic. Going here is a commitment. But the prices! Feed a family of four for $25, and you get happy kids and don't have to wash dishes. The young lady behind the counter at the Sunnyside location refused to serve my wife and I because our 6 month old baby didn't have on a mask. She ignorantly claimed it was actually the "CDC Law." Someone needs to educate this genius! The CDC doesn't pass laws, they provide guidelines, and their guidelines state that small children, people having trouble breathing, and people with breathing disorders and certain other medical conditions are exempt from those mask guidelines. Not only was she dead WRONG, but in doing so she was actually breaking the law by discrimating against people with children and refusing to serve them. I finally tried MOD, and it wasn't bad. I still like Pieology better due to their dough, but MOD has more toppings and sauces. Just keep in mind this is a popular family restaurants and when I went the line was obscenely long packed with kids. read more

So first impression was not great. Customer service was pretty terrible. Girl creating the pizzas seemed to be hating life, and seemed to Have little patience while our family decided what we wanted to eat. Breadsticks came out burnt but the manager quickly gives that situation on his own which was great. Round 2, I was relieved when different girl than last at the counter to help us with our order. After placing our order I quickly realized she was as miserable (or pat least her attitude was) as the last girl we dealt with. Ordered 5 pizzas and got 4 of them. read more

2nd time here. Both times there has been fast friendly service. I thought this was going to be another crappy chain- it's not. Ingredients are fresh & I love that they have soda water on tap. I mix a little berry lemonade and it's a great beverage without a ton of sugar. This place is different. Here you get either a 6" ($5.27) or an 11" ($8.27) pizza. I love this place and love their pizza. It's so amazing you can choose SO many topping options, but even more amazing they have base sauce options! Red sauce, white sauce, oil, pesto sauce..the fact that they have pesto makes my heart sing and almost brings a tear to my eye. It's underrated at pizza joints and deserves more respect. The pizza is always really really good, and even as left overs is really really good. Their lemonade is great and they have PELLET ICE. Yes..those beautifully tiny and airy ice cubes that make the perfect soft crunch?! They have them and they're amazing. The people working are upbeat and friendly and help you out when your brain is too confused by all the choices to pick just a few for your pizza. read more

Got a gluten free and normal pizza. The staff did not change their gloves between pizza doughs of normal to gluten free. I know it is not a gluten free environment, but at least trying would be nice. Secondly the slices were cut weird. And thirdly the gluten free was burnt. I will post a picture. When I was ordering the guy was more focused about his friends behind him then the customer in front of him. I had to repeat myself 3 times what I wanted on my pizza, because he was distracted with jokes behind his back. If I could give less I would. The pizza was not horrible but the staff and their clique hanging were. Rude and judgmental. Me, my assistant, and my 11 yr old came in for first time to help her school fundraiser. Before even getting to the front door a customer started talking trash. Was apparently friend of staff due to rushing up to counter an everyone starting to stare as we walked in. My kid was embarrassed an I was left feeling like I just stepped into grade school again. Very similar to pieology, it may have a few more toppings and has some beverage options that I don't remember seeing at the other pizza joint. The chicken tasted funny to me, tho I'm not sure I could identify the flavor, just off. Mostly kids working there that didn't seem especially thrilled to be there. One of the boys kept throwing stuff around like he was pissed off making it rather awkward. I did like the crust so I might give it another try and see if the service gets better. read more

I do have to say this place is bomb. They have fresh ingredients and there pizza is always perfictly cooked, not burnt, not raw. Its much better then piaolagy and there costemer service is amazing. I went there one time and iv been going ever sience. Im very picky about the food i eat and so this is the perfict place for me. This place is amazing !!!!
