So it was between our favorite Pizza Cucinova or trying the new Mod Pizza! Boy did we make the wrong choice.First , the positive. Cute place nice people. That's it. No one seemed to care that there were really dirty tables! Even though we order for dining room and it was marked dining room they packed it to go. Stuff like that may not bother some people but it really bugs me! The crust is super thin but you can order a double crust. They have the single crust then they put sauce and cheese on it then lay the second thin crust on. The crust was tasteless. The two crusts kept coming about. Service ?? Usually enjoy getting pizza here so I wanted to bring my daughter that is 7 months pregnant for a delicious treat! Instead we get an employee that doesn't smile and rushes us through the line . She was Rude to say the least ! We chose to get the MOD pizza x 2 . Every time we picked a topping for our pizza we would get an eye roll and a sigh . On a positive note the pizza was delicious and the young lady that prepared the pizza was lovely. A pretty tasty pizza quick fired and ready in 5 minutes or less. Plenty of toppings. Love the crust and the sizes are great. The prices are right. My usual is the garlic rub, extra sauce, parm cheese, bacon, onion, tomatoes, and more parm! I love their flavored teas and lemonade! Plenty of seating, inside and outside. And the music is good and fun! Oh, I like that they have boxes ready for you if you need to take home - you don't have to wait in line or ask for one! First time visit this week and I really liked it. It's the Subway concept where you choose all the toppings you want for one price. I chose sausage, ham, bacon and mushrooms on a small pizza (10" maybe). Most Columbus pizza is bad, so i was pleased to find a good pie close to home. I prefer deep dish. MOD Pizza is very thin crust, but the sauce and sausage made up for the thicker crust i like. The thin crust was very good and it was out of the oven in less than 10 minutes. Unlike almost all Columbus pizzerias, their sausage was real Italian sausage with fennel in it. So nice. I also had a ceasar salad and you also get to add your ingredients. It was so good that i didn't need dressing. With a self serve soda, it all cost less than $16, which i thought was great for what i was served. Go there. I think you will like it. read more

One of the better pizzas in Columbus and offers a different type of pizza experience (build your own). You get a 10-12" pizza for about $8, or a smaller pizza for $5. You get a very thin crust (my favorite), your choice of sauce and as many toppings as you want for the same price. Ingredients are all very good. Hint....ask for extra sauce and cheese. Not as good as a authentic Chicago thin crust pizza, but the overall value and the poor competition in Columbus, Ohio earns a five star here. Only Wholly Joes is significantly better in Columbus. read more

Agree with the burnt crust review. There's wood fired then there's black charred. Not good. The first time I thought it may have​been working out the kinks as a new restaurant. I gave it another shot even mentioned it and it's still was black on the bottom. My salad was really good and I liked being able to customize it but it is a pizza play so as Pizza goes not good. The other fast-casual pizza joints seem to just do a better job with the actual pizza. The staff seemed very irritated that I took my time ordering for my family which put me off a little bit because we were the only ones there and they were not at all busy. If you don't mind burnt crust it's a great value but for us it was very expensive as we had to go and get a second lunch afterwards. read more

You know I was really please with this place and the customer service until today. I work on E. Broad and there was a bad accident. I placed an online order for pickup at 12:15. I called to let them know I was on my way but there was a bad accident but that I was coming and I was thanked for letting them know. Well because of the accident, it took me 30 minutes to get to Mod. It was only 15 min past my pickup time. When I went to pick up my order I was given my pizza and the woman checking me out says "I'm surprised it's still warm". Are you kidding me? I honestly think I'm officially done ordering anything from here. I've convinced my family to give this restaurant another try because they don't care for it but I'm disappointed I even tried because that quote really did it in for me. I won't be back after that comment. And for the record, it wasn't warm at all. Good thing I sat in traffic for 30 min for cold pizza. I understand this wasn't their fault but they didn't even offer to remake it or warm it back up. read more

Thanks to the Yelp reviews I knew exactly where to go after some glow putting with the family today. The ladies working behind the counter this afternoon were so friendly and helped us know how to order our pizza. A flat rate for the pizza and you can choose as many toppings as you wish for your personal pizza. The pizza was great we really like the crust compared to other fast fire pizza places we have gone to. We also enjoyed the blackberry lemonade. I personally liked it mixed with the regular ice tea. We are so excited to hear one is coming to the Sawmill area. read more

I enjoyed the CASPIAN mini pizza. Very good. They make it right in front of you and you can add extra toppings if you like for the same price. So around $5 for a individual pizza with as many toppings as you like is a good deal to me. It takes 8-10 from the time you pick your toppings until the time your pizza is ready to enjoy. WOW! Great pizza and super friendly service. My first time here and it was a tad intimidating. However, unlike the Chipoltles and Moes of the world where kitchen help mumbles to themselves and slops out grub like a scene from Orange Is The New Black, the folsk at MOD were fantastic. They explained the set up and it was much appreciated. I arrived near closing time, and everything looked so very clean and the toppings counter all looked amazingly fresh. Great job MOD. Don't let them rush you! As a first timer, I was a bit confused at the process of ordering a pizza. When I mentioned this to the person taking my order, she simply said to select from the menu. She said nothing about customizing or adding to the menu pizzas. So when I ordered, she just rushed me through and when I asked the cashier to add onions and peppers to my pizza, she said it was too late. I did get my pizza quickly but it was overcooked with the crust noticeably burnt. When I mentioned it, I was told all pizzas were like that and people loved them. I didn't. Burnt pizza crust tastes like burnt pizza crust. It's that simple. There are so many better options in Columbus. If you go, go when it is not busy and insist on not being rushed through. It could be a good place if the staff and cooks pay attention to their customers. read more

I walked in today and saw that the place was packed. Thankfully, we were able to get through the line quickly. I got to pick my pizza and the amount of toppings that I want (I had so much roasted garlic that I no longer fear vampires!) my pizza was cooked absolutely perfectly and was piping hot. The no name cakes are a must!! My son got the seasonal milkshake that was perfect for the hot summer day. We sat outside in the patio under an umbrella that kept that sun out of our eyes. This is about the 5th "rapid Fire" pizza concept I have tried in the city(Blaze, Pizza Fire, Pizza Rev, Pizza Cucinova). The red sauce tasted as if it were from a can and the crust was too thin and tasteless. For my money and tastebuds I still think Pizza Cucinova at Easton has the best taste (they make their dough fresh daily--the other 4 concepts had it frozen) and have a wonderful red sauce. Sorry MOD- I am not a fan. Heard you were going to do a 2nd store in the old Starbucks at Morse & Hamilton across from Pizza Rev-- the rapid fire pizza wars have begun in Gahanna. read more
