I was staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to eat in. I saw the is place with the highest rating of all the nearby pizza shops so I ordered. Frankly, Pizza Hut has better pizza. The crust is obviously commercially produced and very doughy. The cheese and toppings were bland at best. I ordered the lemon cake for dessert and I'm convinced it was a Little Debbie in a glorified wrapper. If you have any desire for something even close to a real pizza go somewhere else. read more

With this many toppings, sides and plant based included, would probably be at least $30 minimum - I know in Austin for sure where I just moved from and probably in other places in Columbus especially when everywhere charges $.50 for each topping after like 4 toppings including cilantro which is so ridiculous, these sauces would be at least $1 each anywhere else. Went in a on Tuesday for lunch. It was packed! We waiting at least 15 minutes to order but the employees definitely has the line moving quickly. I created my own pizza with the original crust, white sauce, tomatoes, sweet peppers and topped it off with pesto. It was delicious! When offering my food the rep gave me they impression that I was bothering them, no smiling faces here. they seem they get along with each other, but very impersonal with customers. This place can definitely be hit or miss at times. Depending on who is providing the service. When it's the right people behind the counter. Everything is A okay! The right folks will put the right amount of sauce, cheese and other toppings that you ask for and cook your pizza to artisan perfection. The garlic bread they make is absolutely wonderful. The devil's food cake hockey puck desserts are freaking delicious but be warned for they are very rich. The price is great. You pretty much pay for the size of the pizza and are not charged additional for toppings which is cool. I would suggest that you don't go to this place 30-45 minutes before closing. They start their pre shut down pretty early and everyone in there is pretty much set on going home so they get a little lazy when putting your pizza together and cooking it. So GO EARLY! I walked in last time I went 40 minutes before closing and it was like someone told the whole staff they won a million dollars and then said SIKE! However once I saw the cheese it was a brand I didn't like by the time I noticed and asked them the brand it was to late . Mod is my favorite build your own pizza chain in Columbus primarily due to the quality of toppings and the crispy crust. Toppings wise, they have many types of protein and all produce looks freshly chopped. Nothing looks processed or from a can. The crust is the best part of the pizza as it stays crispy and can still be handheld even with lots of toppings. I like that it gets a little blackened from the oven but it is not overpowering. Aside from good food, this location in particular always has friendly staff, is clean and food is prepared quickly. You can't beat the price either (less than $8 per pie). read more

There pizza is better than Pizza Cucinova! I will be coming here! There crust stays stiff and isn't saggy in the middle like cucinova! Location could be a bit bigger. It's odd that the city build this plaza but made the rentals this small. They at least have outdoor seating. My only real complaint in the single person bathroom with no paper towels to open the door so I had to use toilet tissue paper. It's not the employees but I have been many places and folks simply do not wash their hands! Other than that, A1 and the staff checks on you. They removed our trays from the table and asked how did we enjoy the pizza. Place only had a few others here so it may not happen as much of this was busy like during lunch! I will be back.
