I placed a mobile order totaling $28 at this McDonald's. After arriving, I waited approximately 30 minutes before receiving my food, which is far longer than expected. When the order was finally handed to me, the food was cold, clearly due to the extended wait time. I requested a refund because the delay directly affected the quality of the food. Management refused to issue a refund, even though the problem was caused by how long the order took to be completed. No reasonable resolution was offered. I also want to note that the interaction felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. Because I had a mobile order and did not verbally announce it at the speaker, I felt I was treated differently afterward. Regardless of the reason, customers should be treated respectfully and fairly, and that was not my experience. Overall, this situation reflects poor order management and a lack of customer service. My husband and I buy two large unsweet iced teas EVERYDAY of the week. We usually buy at the Morse Rd location. We bought at this location tonight because we were going by it and knew we wouldn't be back in time to buy at Morse Rd. What a mistake. Stopped by for a late night meal. Ordered a 20 piece chicken nuggets and a large Hi-C orange for a total bill of $7.07. I pulled around and the cashier confirmed my order and the amount owed. I handed her two $5 bills and she tapped the cash register display. She deposited my $5 bills into the drawer and removed two $1 bills. She then looked a bit stumped, thought for a moment, and started removing an assortment of coins. After making her selection she looked at them in her flattened hand, counted them, returned two coins back to the drawer, and then handed me my change consisting of two $1 bills, three quarters, and three dimes -- $3.05 when I was only owed $2.93. Now, this for sure won't break Ronald's bank but if you're going to hire someone for a cashier position it might be a good idea to make sure they can properly count change. read more

For what I needed, this spot was perfect. It was a crap day weather-wise and I was stuck at home with the hubby who works for the schools which were cancelled. I was working remotely and needed to get out of the house now that the weather was OK. The library didn't open until noon - but I figured McD's would be open for sure. The downside I soon found was that they have Coke products. My first choice is Pepsi. Regardless, I filled 'er up and grabbed a seat. Wi fi signal was good and you have to agree to terms to use - so some protection on the internet (as opposed to fully open access). I immediately got to work and had no interruptions from noise or otherwise. A guy working the seating area and also running food out to cars did stop to make sure I had everything I needed. Very nice of him. He also kept the place tidied up. I spent about an hour here - no rush to leave as soon as the library opened. I finished my drink and grabbed a refill to go. As far as McDonald's go, I was very impressed with this one. I was in Gahanna to drop something off to someone in my church. It was 7pm and I realized I forgot to put my chicken in the crockpot. McDonald's it is! The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. I asked for extra ketchup like always and they gave me so much! Not stingy at all. Even as the associate handed me my bag, she said "And we have all of your extra ketchup in here." I was grateful she remembered. I got a quarter pounder with fries and a coke. So I went through the drive through today. I saw they were fairly busy and I tend to have a lot of sympathy for drive through workers and fast food workers because I used to be one myself. I placed my order and everything and went to the pay window, and I waited, looked into the window and it looked like the person wasn't paying attention or had something else going on so I figured maybe they want me to go to the pick up window and pay? This is a review many times in the making, when this location first opened from its old location it wasn't very good. Since then things have changed a bit. The staff here is always top notch, friendly, polite and ready to please. I have never had a issue and this store is ran very well and management and employee's are terrific. Food has always been correct and never had a broken ice cream machine (when I've come here) pretty impressive! Drove past other Micky D's and stop by this one you won't be disappointed! Their customer service in the drive thru sucks. The lady made sure she kept the window closed on us every time she handed us something so she wouldn't have to speak to us when we were trying to explain what was wrong with our order. I go to this location often and they are usually fast and the food is pretty average for a McDonald's, the fries are hit or miss. I probably would give them a 4 but the last time I was in there I encountered a very rude girl giving me my food and she had a terrible attitude and it put me in a bad mood after leaving. They have messed up order a couple of times as well but usually the staff is friendly. My girlfriend tried to order through the app and it went through. So we were on our way to pick it up and once we got there the app had refreshed and charged her. So we went through the drive through because the store isn't open for dine in. The person at the speaker told us to go to the first window but once we got up there the person working that window had no idea what we were talking about. They told us we should go to the second window and maybe the manager would be able to help us. Again we moved up to the next window and talked to the person there who again, had no idea what we were talking about, so the manager came to the window. The manager told us that they can't do anything without a code and we told them that we never got a code. We did have a digital receipt and so we showed them and the manager said "this isn't the right location". They were so rude and unhelpful and it just was a bad experience. She had time to go to this location and that's it. The attendant gave her half full cup of coke. My wife asked her to fill it up and she said no, thats just how the machine does it. After dark, it gets dicey to even spend money here as the employees who worked here were trying to steal money from customers at night. (as of Oct 2012- this review was delayed due to travel) I had to contact the corporate office regarding the issue because the employee lied to my face about my change back from $15.32 given, I gave exact change so only bills would be returned) and he just went blank in the face. Math skills should be top priority when you are stealing cash from the till. Corporate made it seem like this was no big deal based on the letters I received, but had I used a credit card, who knows what would have happened. Corporate was less than helpful: unreturned phone call, general template letter mailed to me about looking into the issue, a coupon for a free combo... (Because I want to go back) the topper to this was the survey I had to do online about whether I would return to McDonald's in the future. Why?! This city is full of other healthier options that will not try to lie to me when they get caught stealing my money. Plus, with a Wendy's on every other block nearby in Whitehall, a BK, White Castle, etc... why go back. If I could give this location zero stars I absolutely would. This is, by far, the WORST customer service I have ever received. When I went to place my order I said everything very clearly to the woman taking my order, except for apparently when she asked what size and I responded with medium then she proceeded to basically yell at me "WHAT SIZE?!" very slowly as if I was stupid and couldn't understand. Once I got my order placed, I went to the window, paid, and got my food and he slammed the window in my face before even attempting to give me my drink.
