Things we liked: The mac & cheese was the best thing on the table. Tasty with good texture and plenty of cheese both in the sauce and melted on top. Kiddo reports that the tenders were great and the fries "ok." He cleaned up the former. I appreciate the beer selection. They have some solid local brews to go with the corporate swill. Everyone wins. I enjoyed my Avery Maharaja. They have plenty of TVs if that's what you are into. Service was patient, prompt, and courteous when ordering food. Not so thrilled: Adults were disappointed in the bone-in fried chicken. It's why we came to Stapleton for dinner. Oily and overcooked, one piece each was too much. It was closer to a TV dinner than a place like Tom's Home Cookin (RIP). I know this is a chain, but the quality and taste were not up to par. Noise was suited for a sports bar environment, but wasn't unbearable. Beer and food are ordered in separate locations. I stood where it says to order, then waited 10 minutes to be served. One person ahead of me, two struggling behind the bar, which was full and getting all the attention. My son came looking for me. It's their model. I just don't like it. Waldo's offers good beer, decent tenders/sides, and an upbeat vibe. It's hard to not rate it better, but the fried chicken was a huge letdown. I'd go back for a beer and snack if in the area again with watching sports on the brain.

It was packed during the lunch rush, but they are a crazy efficient team. Don't let the long lines put you off. We placed our order with the cashier and took a seat. Within 15 minutes our number was being called. I went with the double-double with grilled onions and it was so good. Very flavorful and all the ingredients were fresh. The lettuce was nice and crispy which is always a huge plus. What I love most about this place is that there are several modifications you can make to the burger and fries because they are made to order. The inside of the restaurant itself is very well maintained. There are workers constantly cleaning the dining area and the bathrooms. So even though it is fast food, it doesn't feel gross. You can enjoy your food in a clean environment. It's also pretty close to the Denver airport so it makes it a good place to make a pit stop before or after a flight. They also have a drive-thru so you can eat while on your merry way.

Like a Mexican Tokyo Joe's. -1 for no human being checking you in and having to check in on 2 screens with so many options that it takes forever to get through them all with people in the line behind you. -1 for room temperature, probably two or three day old brisket in a seven dollar taco. -1 for combination of workers standing around and an option to "add a tip" on the checkout screen. Wahoo's tacos across the street is a better option in my opinion.
