As someone who grew up in "the OC" aka Orange County CA this I the closest I have been to real fish tacos since moving to New Mexico Living in Albuquerque nothing like it. People are great. Weird to see snowboarders culture as it has surf culture origins. Great decor, I have to mention Rubios as in San Diego county specifically it's the original fish taco place. Wahoo uses a slightly different model but food hit the spot. Please come to Albuquerque! Every one else wants In and Out but I would love love love a Wahoo's

Fun, eye catching decor with a unique building and window design. The food was far better than expected, especially for the price, and it came out very quickly. A truly excellent fast-casual spot.

I have heard of Wahoo's Fish Taco before, now I had an opportunity to try it. Shamefully, it was nowhere near the hype I have heard. We came when there is supposed to be a lunch rush, and the first telling sign shown us that they're not popular amongst the local crowd. The place was empty like my soul. When we ordered, we noticed how every little addition to the menu adds up fast. A $12 burrito ends up being close to $20 real quick. Then the wait was pretty extensive, it felt like only one person was working the whole joint, it took us leaving before we saw another worker there. On top of that, we were refused to-go cups for whatever drink we had left cause, in her words, "it comes with the large." Yeah, definitely not seeing the hype here.

Just a reminder that this Wahoo's location is consistently fantastic. Piping hot and FLAVORFUL. pro tip: Happy hour is 3-6 Monday-Saturday. And all day sundays. 5$ margs and half off shared plates.

I wanted to love this spot because they have a great variety of fish tacos-fried and grilled and different type including flounder, wahoo and salmon but unfortunately it left me a little disappointed. The size of the tacos are fair with a generous piece of fish but the wahoo was incredibly dry and there was way too much slaw. The Alaskan flounder crispy taco was fine. I do like the sauces they came with. At about $6.50 a taco, I do think they are pricy for the quality. The Mr Lee chicken burrito was essentially 3/4 rice and some mildly flavored chicken and was very pricy for what it was. Their chips are fine but I was not a fan of the guacamole. There is also an additional service fee even when you order online on their site for pickup. My order was ready in a timely fashion and they marked the different tacos so we knew which were which

Wahoos service is always quick, the food is fresh. My husband loves the original fish enchiladas in red sauce with white rice and white beans. I tried the Salmon bowl, was fishy, but Elsie the manager replaced it with grilled chicken; the Pico de Gallo made it tasty and healthy.

Pretty fresh food with decent prices. It was self order and they brought the food to the table. It was quick and got the job done. Fish tasted fresh and the restaurant was clean.

My 1st time here, but my Nieces favorite spot. She loves the sat free Margaritas. We came during happy hour and all the "Shared" plates were 1/2 off..

This place is one that I've passed up for years, but I decided to stop today, and I'm glad I did! 1st off, the customer service is unmatched when it comes to Bing polite. The young man who helped me recommend the food in the pic. He also made me a margarita that had me sipping because I didn't want to slam it and be loaded! I really am happy I stopped today because I was in my feelings about my son, who passed at the age of 18 in 2020, and the staff here made it a better day. If you're in the area, please stop and enjoy the atmosphere..

Wahoo's has been a usual stop when in the area. First time at this place. The food was plentiful and seasoned well. The restaurant interior needed a good cleaning and freshen up. The counter service was mechanical and my friendly.

Food is always fresh and delicious. Customer service is always on point and I love the atmosphere. Makes me feel like I'm in San Francisco for a moment. I'm not much of a fish eater so I'm glad that they have options besides fish. But the fried fish is definitely a winner. This is a nice break from common fast food. I don't feel so guilty after eating here.

Burnt to a crisp taco meat

Worst place we've ever been in Aurora Co. Del Taco for looks . Our child's taco was a disaster meat was burned so bad it was all charcoal . And it was so over priced . Like way way over priced . Don't eat here unless you wanna walk out 50 dollars outa a pocket and disgusted . If they spent more money on quality of food than all the surfboards and and skate boards decorating the place they might be ok but I doubt it .

This is the Michelin restaurant that you go to if you like a more casual / less stuffy experience. Food: 4 Every dish that we ordered was delicious, but slightly on the heavy side without anything light/acidic to break it up. Perhaps it's because of what we chose to order though! Frijoles Puerco: This was a play on refried beans and chorizo. The chorizo has a little kick to it. The sourdough tortillas were delicious and served fresh and warm. Callo De Hacha Al Horno: The scallops were a flavor bomb served in a serrano ponzu and tomato butter. I'm unsure why the scallops were cut into smaller pieces instead of left whole... Enmoladas De Pollo: This was essentially chicken enchiladas cooked in mole so I was skeptical if I would find this dish worthwhile. They proved me wrong as this was one of the best dishes of the night. The mole was flavorful, not too heavy, and the chicken enchilada was so well cooked. Birria De Borrego: The lamb shank was cooked until it was fork tender. After taking it apart, wrap it in a fresh and warm tortilla with refried corn beans and salsa. The lamb was well cooked and made for a good balanced bite, but it did feel special. Service: 5 We set at the chef table and was able to watch as they finished and plated each dish. The chef was attentive without being overbearing/annoying and we had a good conversation with him. Food came out at a good pace. Ambiance: 5 The restaurant is small and cozy. It didn't feel stifling or pretentious as other fine dining restaurants can sometimes feel. This would be perfect for a date or dinner with friends.

Looking at taco places, I went with something close by to our location and found this hidden gem. Nestled away on a small street corner of Clay Street and 32nd Ave. parking can be scarce, but I'm sure with the right time and a little bit of walking you will find and manage your way here. Outside the restaurant, they have a small seating area which now is winter too cold to enjoy, but I'm sure in the spring and summer and fall time is super enjoyable. The inside, though a little bit tiny and no cozier than going to your mom's house and expecting a family Filled living room/Kitchen. We went down and greeted by three smiling faces. We already looked at the photos online and knew we want tacos so opted with the chicken tacos and Carne Asada taco plates. The tacos place option came with 5 tacos with up to 2 choices of meats the ratio would be 2:3 .. freshly mashed guacamole made in front of you or freshly sliced avocado.. In the pictures I listed you will find each chicken and Carne Asada options. Both slow pictures missing two tacos because we devoured them as soon as we got into the truck. Their street tacos are heavenly! Chicken option was all chicken breast super juicy grilled to perfection five tacos on a plate another two tacos missing because my husband and I devoured it. This plate came we asked it with the guacamole option instead of fresh avocado. The carne asada was just FULL of flavor and the fresh avocado slices with green tomatillo salsa SLAPPED.. the tortillas are super soft and tears from how fresh the flour tortillas were!!
