I don't know who has taken over as the general manager for this store but they are running it into the ground. I worked at this store about 4-5 years ago and the standards that were expected of us absolutely no longer exist. My pizzas are burned every single time my husband suggests we try again. There are huge bubbles in the crust that pop in the oven and get rid of half the toppings and none of the current employees have any sense of urgency. What used to be fast and reliable and affordable is now $4 more expensive for each pizza size than it was when I was working there (a mini used to be $4.29, it's now $8.29 that's crazy) on top of taking much longer to get your food and having no quality control with what they hand out to customers. Go to the Wentzville location if you can. read more

MOD Pizza has become a horrible operator. The hours of operation are inconsistent and the service poor at best. The few times I've attempted to use the mobile app, it won't even allow me to place an order. To me it seems like it would be better to have fewer locations and at least good service than to dilute the brand. read more

Gave me a whole new pizza on the house because they accidently made it a bit too small; very kind.

The manager took pride in his job while my pizzas came out barely burnt on the edges (was completely fine with me). Not only were the employees very friendly but they handled our pizzas with care. They were hot and delicious. Will definitely be returning! read more

Me and my family came in last Friday, and ordered at the counter with our order taken by a young man by the name of Pete. As he was making our pizzas we noticed that there were specks and freckles of what seemed to be fecal matter on his gloves. In disgust me and my family just immediately walked out. I wish I could review this as zero stars and I wish I also got the health dep. involved... DISGUSTING!!!!! read more

I'm a driver for DoorDash and I only had one pizza to pick up and I saw them make it in a decent amount of time but then it just sat on expo for close to 15 minutes. This was just frustrating because the box just needed to be closed and handed to me. I was late to my delivery because of this and it's happened before. read more

It's insane that a pizza place can run out of dough on Wednesday night. Maybe if they open more often they would have the proper management to able to serve customers and remain open on a more consistent basis. Employees are fine and food is what you expect, crazy that this is happening. read more

Tried Mod Pizza for the first time last night. Made an online order around 8pm. When I got there, the place was slammed. I ordered the Mod special Carmen, a Mod create your own, and the Italian chop salad. Carmen had bacon, pesto, artichokes, jalapenos, spinach, mozzarella and feta. It was delicious! Pizzas were cooked very well with just the right amount of toppings and cheese. The crust was just how I like it, not too thick, not too thin. Mod size salad was big enough to share and packed with plenty of freshly prepared ingredients. Loved the romaine/arugula combo. The main reason I'm giving this location 5 stars is because of the staff. Everybody was getting their teeth kicked in, but the way they worked together in the assembly like manner was quite impressive. I've worked in restsurants before and know how miserable being that busy can be, but they all kept smiles on their faces and knocked it out. My pizza took a little longer than quoted online which didn't bother me one bit after seeing how busy they were. They still apologized for the wait and included a No Name dessert in my order, which I discovered after I got home. Good work, guys! Thank you! read more

MOD Pizza - Italian chop salad A+ - Fast Food Near Me - Cottleville, Missouri

hours constantly change, prices high and workers extremely slow. Not sure who owns this location but they must not be around much.

Extremely low service, paid 10 dollars for a pizza with barely any toppings and was asked to leave a tip after waiting to pay while 7 employees stood around talking and laughing. The line is out the door because the two "pizza artists" are moving extremely slow. And talking in the middle of making a pizza. read more

We ordered online the night petite a large order for our family the next day. What a great experience Things are ready and nicely boxed for pick up. The meal was delicious and we will do something like again. read more

7/5/16- Great visit today. I ordered a mini Mad Dog pizza (hot and cheesy)and a mini Caesar salad. So when they get out that 6" crust, you will immediately second guess that tiny decision, but it's PERFECT with a salad. The mini salad is not mini at all and I didn't quite finish it. I really liked the Caesar dressing. This was a second visit and it was much improved! -------------------------- First visit-Mod just opened, so they have some kinks to work out. The ordering process was a little slow, they forgot my extra pizza topping and the salad's croutons, but I'm sure when I return in a few weeks everything will be a-ok. The pizza was hot and delicious, the restaurant was really clean, I liked their unique (as well as standard) beverage choices and everyone was pleasant. read more

This place is constantly changing their hours and closing. I understand that but if you are going to close against your stated hours due to short staff or something else then turn off your online ordering and adjust your hours. It's super frustrating to order pizzas which I do religiously from MOD only to find out your closed!! Super frustrating!! read more

Went with a group of about 15 people. Chose this location as it was centrally located. Great choice! We normally go to a different location as it is closer to home. However, the staff was super friendly and served us well. The food was excellent. Everyone's order as it was supposed to be and everything tasted great! The custom built pizzas with unlimited toppings are what hey are known for, however, they can make a great custom built salad as well. Would highly recommend this MOD location! read more

Fast service here and probably the best staff of a mod I've been too. Never had an issue with any order ive ever made here

these mfs are never open. the food is so good and it's a great place except it's never open just open up please.

I got a mini pizza and a mini salad. I stood in line for an hour and asked the worker how long it would take she responded with a we'll call you when it's ready and I asked for an estimate and she said very rudely "I don't know". My food was good but service made me not want to return. read more

As crazy as it sounds, I am not a huge pizza fan. I have 2 pizza places that I absolutely love, and I get pizza maybe 2 or 3 times a year. But after a meeting at work, a few coworkers wanted to head to Mod, and I said why not... Mod to me is basically like subway, but it's pizza. And they do it really well. The store is very clean, organized, and the employee's are all very friendly and pleasant. When you walk in you get in line, and can order off the menu or just customized whatever you want on your pizza. The best part- you can get as many or as little toppings you want at no extra cost. I love that. I ordered off the menu, I got the mod sized Dillon James (mozzarella, asiago, fresh chopped basil, garlic, sliced tomatoes, red sauce) and I also added pepperoni. For an 11 inch pizza with unlimited toppings it was around $7.50. And for me, it easily made two meals. They also have a mini pizza, which was I considering getting with a mini salad- but I am glad I just stuck to the pizza for my first time. After they create your pizza however you want it, you pay, they throw it into a pizza oven, and it's ready in less than 5 minutes. This is high quality, delicious, affordable pizza in a fast-setting. They totally know what they're doing. Of course, this isn't the 'best' pizza of my life, but for the setting, the price, and quality of "fast-food" pizza, I am very happy and will totally be back again. read more

After a few more visits, they've burned our pizza. I'd say this place's quality depends completely on whom is cooking the day of your visit . I called and complained , but was not offered anything . During our last visit it was really crowded and I didn't want to complain onsite. A few pieces of our pizza were edible, but the others were literally charred. I'd say they need to use a timer. read more

Great service and food is pretty good. Salads are great if you're looking for something light and healthy. Pizzas are spectacular!

This place is all about customization, and boy does it deliver. The options list is outstanding; with everything from sausage, chicken, and pepperoni to kalamata olives, Sriracha Sauce, and even brussel sprouts. The crust is thin and light. It has a little chew upon initial bite and delivers outstanding wood fired flavor. The price is great, super affordable. All of the staff was super friendly and the location is clean and welcoming. Definitely worth checking out! Cheers! read more

Ended up bringing the burned pizza, with burned broccoli back. Poor organization. People who came in well after I placed my online order received their food first. Not impressed at all! read more

My husband has has celiac and MOD offers a Gluten Free crust pizza...YES, my husband LOVES it, but...at least 3 times now (we keep coming back with hopes management will train the employees proper ways to handle GF crust), we always have to watch and wait...because they do NOT change gloves, or they put it on the wrong crust all together!!! Had to wait over 30 minutes last time because of this and the employee knew I was upset because I walked out, I knew he messed up but again it's the manager that's needs to do better and train their employees MUCH BETTER!!! An apology means nothing when my husband could have a severe reaction do to cross contamination... read more

Ate in on September 1st and forgot to bring my mask. I asked for one and apologized that I forgot mine and the entire team of employees stared at me like I was an alien. I said I wasn't an anti-masker or anything and they all just stared at me and didn't say anything. I still gave them a tip and sat down and my table was extremely sticky so I asked the cashier if I could have a cloth to wipe my table down and she told me the cleaning solution they use leaves that sticky feeling and there is nothing we could do about it. All of this was very strange to me and I won't be back. read more

This was our first time visiting MOD. It was busy and we had an about 10 minutes wait to order. Ingredients were fresh and pizza cooks fast. I had pesto with garlic, chicken, fresh basil, onions, sundried tomatoes, etc. it was really good. My wife had a salad as well and the Caesar was great. read more

They have lactose free cheese!!!!! Vegan cheese!!! Omg! This place is so great! I can have cheese on my pixza again!

This place reminds me of Pie Five... with more choices of toppings. Look... if you can build a good pizza here, you have issues. Mine was a completely custom pizza... lots of meats and green olives. I was craving salt... what can I say? ;-) Great crust and dispersion of toppings. Delicious. The staff here was also very friendly... I came in kinda late and they were closing down. I never felt rushed. read more

The best pizza... friendliest people.... best service..... best price.... It does not get any better than this MOD Pizza right here

Fast and tasty pizzas made right in front of you to your personal specifications with fresh ingredients! How can anyone not like that?! They also have salads and beverages including beer and wine. This isn't a fancy place but ideal for a quick family meal or for teenagers to meet and eat. This was my first visit to one of their locations, but this chain is going to do VERY well for itself! read more

Pizza is tasty. However the inside of the restaurant has an odd and unappetizing smell...we've experienced this before. And outside you catch an occasional whiff of a sewer. read more

OMG! Great customer service and great food. We had a great experience from start to finish. Pizza with as many toppings as you want, made to order for one set price. Try this place! read more

THE CRUST. Omg. I'm usually not a fan of a crispy crust but this one falls apart in your mouth. It is very cracker-like in texture in the best way. If you're deciding between MOD and Pieology (they are very similar in allowing you to select sauce and toppings, Subway style), pick MOD. Pieology in the St. Charles area has subpar staff that seems to be waiting for their next smoke break every minute and is just in general slow. MOD moved quickly and communicated hand-offs well. My only advice would be that their "standard" offerings on the menu are fairly uninspired. Next time we would definitely order a custom pie with some of the more interesting ingredients. We will be back! read more

Great concept, poorly executed. Never been before but decided to go here instead of an actual sit-down restaurant thinking it would be faster and easier...wrong. On a Friday evening there was a long line and on the other side of the counter two kids assembling the pizzas, Subway-style. The first guy asked us how many pizzas we were ordering and we told him 3, along with the names and sizes. Except apparently that's not how it worked because when he passed the dough to the girl next to him she started asking us what we wanted on the pizzas, one by one so we ended up having to repeat our order several times. I thought the first guy would've written the names of the pizzas we wanted on the paper along with whatever else he was writing on there or at least communicate with the girl next to him but nope. The guy seemed new and the girl seemed pissed off for whatever reason. Moving on... All the open tables were dirty so we sat outside. My husband's salad was forgotten and he spent several minutes looking for a bottle opener for his beer before finding out the girl at the cash register was supposed to open it for him. I was willing to overlook all this if the food was at least good enough to make up for it but sadly it wasn't. My pizza, "Dominic," was gooey in a way that pizza should never be. But the outer third of the crust was so burnt and bubbled that it was like a cracker and not even a good one. I ate the whole thing except the crust and left feeling nauseous and hungry. I didn't get a drink or a salad after seeing how much they were and good thing I didn't because it wouldn't have been worth it. It's terribly overpriced for what it is. It's slightly better than frozen pizza but honestly I regret not just going to Dominoes or Pizza Hut. I gave 2 stars because it wasn't a total disaster and the food was at least edible but I feel like I'm probably being overly generous. Needless to say we won't be back. read more

(During covid) Fast over the phone ordering through automated system, surprisingly accurate and easy

Great Pizzas with Unlimited Toppings. Fast and Tasty. Friendly Staff and great ambience

This is my first negative review given. Went here on a weeknight around 6. Took over an hour to get one pizza. Ridiculous. I could get way better pizza delivered to my house quicker! They kept messing up orders and were having to remake pizzas putting the orders farther back. We just wanted a refund at that point and to leave! Horrible! read more

Waited to try MOD until they died down a little bit. Shouldn't have waited so long! Great Pizza & salad. We enjoyed the 'tyler', the 'caspian' and a custom pizza with asparagus. All were excellent. We also got the mega Caesar salad. Excellent and plenty of salad for our family of four. Highly recommend MOD! read more

Pretty decent pizza! Lots of options/toppings at a reasonable price. Visited with my kids and was happy to see that they offered a small pizza. My kids went traditional (pepperoni, red sauce, mozzarella), while I was a little more adventurous (white sauce, sun dried tomato, mushroom, asparagus, gorgonzola). Pizza came out quickly and we all really enjoyed our pizzas. Was it in the same class as Racanelli's or Dewey's? No, but that doesn't matter. Decent pizza at a decent price. read more

The music is super loud. Can't hear yourself think. I have to yell to talk to my son. The Caesar salad has a whole bunch of ends in it. If you like Caesarea for the spring mix. The water cups are puny. You have to constantly get up to get refills so grab two if you want water. Pizza is good if you build your own. read more
