I only had to wait 2 minutes for my pizza to come out of the oven. It was served hot. The ambiance is contemporary and casual. They have a drink station where you can take care of your own refills. They have a large outdoor space for dining as well. My pizza turned out really good. It had a decent amount of each topping. I loved the roasted garlic cloves the best. Ended up here on a weeknight with some friends because we weren't going to wait in line for the new CAVA in this plaza. I went with build your own salad. It was lettuce, chicken, blue cheese, onion, and honestly the ingredients were so sparse and flavorless I forget what else was in it. My friends were reasonably happy with their pizzas. We ordered and payed at the counter and the staff make the pizza for you on the spot. I ordered half the Dominic and half the Dillon James Pizza. You also have the option to add extra seasonings or sauces. The food came very quickly and tasted pretty decent. I actually drove by many MOD pizza locations many times but didn't care much about it because I am not a big fan of pizza. We finally came here last weekend for the first time. It was pretty crowded when we walked in. The entire wait time was about 30 minutes including duration of time in the queue and baking time. The restaurant has nice eating area and spacious. Service was very friendly. Basically you can build your own pizza or salad with any toppings for one price. It's pretty awesome that they also have GF and cauliflower crust, and non dairy cheese which is perfect for anyone with dairy free diet. We wanted to try everything so I ordered the mega dough (11" double thick crust), cauliflower and GF crust. I personally think it was okay. A bit of a mixed bag. No greeting upon arrival and was ignored as I stood there for a few minutes watching the young man make a salad in front of me while another young man was pressing dough. After a while the guy pressing dough told me someone would be help me shortly. It took a few more minutes but I finally made my pie how I like and waited at the register. No one acknowledged me for a very long time so I sat down to wait. When my pizza was done, my name was called and I picked it up. Still no one asked for payment. I told the pizza baker this and he found someone to cash me out. They seem very unorganized with little to no communication with themselves or customers. Overflowing trash and tables that needed to be cleaned both inside and outside. The tea and lemonade dispensers looked dirty and the ingredient line where you build your pizza or salad was a sloppy mess. I've been to many Mod pizzas as a big fan (in multiple states) and this is by far the worst one I've been too. Extremely slow service. It took about 40 minutes to order 2 pizzas to-go. there wasn't a huge line, the line simply didn't seem to move (with everyone who ordered waiting a long time for their pizzas)... ironic for a place with the tagline "Superfast Pizza", and disrespectful of other people's time. The employees were some of the most apathetic and lifeless I've seen. Where is the art, the enjoyment for the craft? The vibe was they are there just to make money but have no passion for the job they are doing, which is sad. Seems to have been crushed by both corporate blandness and lack of anyone with a zest for leadership/morale.. I remember when Mod had a fresh, fun, and energetic take on pizza. Their tip jar was empty with cobwebs because the customers could sense the general lack of service. The counter where they were making the pizzas was filthy, they could barely even slide the pizzas along as they would get stuck onto bits of fallen toppings. I even found multiple pieces of hair in the pizza! Their tap fountain seemed non-functioning, they probably didn't want to place effort into connecting or washing out keg tap lines. $30 for two 11-inch gluten free pizzas is not a good deal.... Mod used to be a bargain! the pizza wasn't that great. it had basically zero sauce, barely any cheese and skimpy toppings, which seemed to instantly flop off revealing a bland and naked half baked crust that still manages to be coated in carbon soot from an oven surface that hasn't been cleaned out... It's exhausting having to coach the person every step of the way how to properly make a pizza, they were too zoned out into a mindless repetition to put much care into any step of it anyway. I'm writing this in relation to the other experiences eating pizza from other Mod locations. To be honest this turned me off from the brand overall and am hesitant to ever return again. I can make an artisan pizza much faster and cheaper at home, with higher quality organic/local ingredients. Therefore, other than being cooked in a flame oven I don't notice much difference with Mod's pizzas in taste from other pizza joints. The crust is like good.bread with a tinge of flame char. The tomato sauce is a little sweet. The toppings were tasty. Service was nearly friendly to friendly depending on the employee. The setting is a little loud when diners fill the tables. I used to love going here but after today's experience I will never be back to this location. Submitted an online order that said it would be ready in 16 minutes, got to the store about 20ish minutes later because I know they sometimes run behind. Stood inside waiting for my pizza for almost 45 minutes with my dog in the car because I thought I'd be able to swing right in and pick it up. From my order online to leaving the store it was an hour. If the wait time is that long that's fine but don't have your app saying 16 minutes when it's not even relatively close. Workers avoided eye contact at all costs and did nothing to try to help the situation. I tried to ask for a refund and they refused. The pizzas are just ok, nothing really stands out. I love the idea of personalizing your pizza and so it's really you who will be all responsible to how it tastes. I didn't like the way that the pizza was cut in 4 only compared to a typical 8 slices where you can hold each slice. I know you can always go back and have them cut it into 8 slices but for me it should be the standard way the pizza should be cut. I also didn't see that the toppings were arranged properly, but it's not a deal breaker since literally it will get mixed up in the end. My bf and I visited this location for the past three nights. We normally go to the wentzville location but they had their store closed.l Despite the first order being half wrong(they offered to fix and felt with it in an appropriate manner), and tonight they were slow to deliver one pizza however there was a line so it was understandable- but the manager I assume gave us a free pizza card. We came here weekly when they first opened because the pizza was tasty, the service was quick and friendly and the price was reasonable. We have since seen a major decline!!! We visited last night and ordered at 5:39 through their app with an estimated order ready time of 5:59. At 5:45 we arrived for curbside delivery. I called to note we had arrived and were told the pizzas (3) were going in the oven. I waited twenty minutes and called a second time and was told the same thing. I asked why and they said there was a mixup. I waited ten more minutes then went inside. Inside a girl behind the counter told me they were trying to figure out our order and still working on it. I questioned what they meant and was yelled at that I should wait and will be called when it's ready. I asked how long and was told she didn't know but to wait because they were clearly busy and backed up. I asked to speak to a manager to get some clarity. An assistant manager came up to the counter and I explained what happened and asked what the delay was indicating I understood they busy but it had been nearly an hour for three pizzas that should have taken ten to fifteen minutes tops. She apologized and said they burnt a pizza then lost the order. They had two pizzas and offered those and a refund. I asked for all three. She gave me two cold pizzas and made the third and I left. Seemed like they we're not wanting to open another container. When we went to order drinks, the employees immediately stated the CO2 was out and sodas were not available. I asked about tea as an alternative and he said sure. Went to get our tea and the container was almost empty. Well low and behold, I don't have to travel to the ends of the earth anymore to get my MOD fix. I got the GF Caspian-BBQ chicken pizza with BBQ sauce as the base, mozzarella cheese, red onion, Gorgonzola cheese, chicken (duh), and I topped it with srirancha drizzle and arugula all on a gluten free crust. Priced just a little higher than close by little Cesar's there's no comparison. This is really a gourmet pizza. Located at the end of a strip center it has a nice size outside patio and plenty of room for inside dining. We went on Friday night and it was packed. You can order off the board or totally customize your pizza. At under $8 for a medium pizza is a good buy especially when you consider that they don't charge extra for additional ingredients, you read that right. I love me some roasted garlic and I loaded my pizza up with it. I fear no vampires for at least a week but I bet there's no good night kiss from the Mrs tonight. I'm sorry I really am but it was probably one of the worst pizza I've had. Don't get me wrong the pizza tasted alright to some extent but all 3 pizzas were extremely under cooked, sloopy, falling apart. I had about 3 bites before I decided to throw them away. This is my first day on YELP, what im saying is the only reason i Literally got the app specifically my experience. I'm sorry for saying it but it was that bad and I'm not not a picky person or a complainer but the pizza was that bad. I will admit one of them had extra sauses on it but it should have been evened out in by divying the sauses in smaller sizes giving you the same proportional size as a regular order. The other 2 pizzas were normal pizzas but they were also very uncooked and fell apart. I plan to go back though as they completely refunded me no questions asked and they were also very nice, polite, and respectful. For that I decided to change the 1 star i was going to give them and instead decided 2 stars. The staff is AMAZING 10/10 as far as staff goes but the pizza is definitely a 0 sorry. I don't know who has taken over as the general manager for this store but they are running it into the ground. I worked at this store about 4-5 years ago and the standards that were expected of us absolutely no longer exist. My pizzas are burned every single time my husband suggests we try again. There are huge bubbles in the crust that pop in the oven and get rid of half the toppings and none of the current employees have any sense of urgency. What used to be fast and reliable and affordable is now $4 more expensive for each pizza size than it was when I was working there (a mini used to be $4.29, it's now $8.29 that's crazy) on top of taking much longer to get your food and having no quality control with what they hand out to customers.
