    Thai Dye small pizza

I really like Mellow Mushroom. It's one of the few places where the crust is sooo good. The pretzel bites with cheese is a great way to start off the meal. I love a good salad, and they have several to choose from. You can customize them, however you like. I've tried several different types of pizza and I really like the Holy Shiitake. The truffle sauce on top elevates it. The bar frequently offers fun events like trivia. The restaurant is a whole vibe. If you enjoyed the 80s MTV era, this place is for you.

Really a fun place with great pizza at a reasonable price. We went about 4:00 on Sunday with no issue getting a table for six. We had a big booth in the dining area but there is also a large bar area with tables. The decor is bright and fun! They sell some cute T-shirts and hats too. Our waitress was great and the pizza was ready pretty quickly. The pizza has a nice thick crust and the sauce...yum! We will come again when in town.

Mellow Mushroom has been my family's favorite pizza place for a few years. We love the Greek salad. We usually order a regular salad and split it. You can't go wrong with the sausage, pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The crust is always amazing especially when dipped in blue cheese dressing. Every time we visit, we always get seated right away. The service is alway friendly and helpful. The place is always buzzing with patrons. Everyone is always pretty chill.

Advertised as an Italian Hero. A slight squeeze of the bun and what little filling there is disappears.

We took our four grandsons here for a late lunch. They were starving and we had to coax them away from Taco Bell to try something new. Mistake. The only bright spot to this visit was our server "N". She was great. The food was terrible. Three kids Mac and cheese dishes were supposed to come out early. They ended up coming out a full 10 minutes after the other dishes came out. The kids were near passing out when they dove in. Almost simultaneously, they literally spit out the food and declared "it's cold". "no way..." Sure enough I took a bite and it was totally chilled. Like... fresh out of the fridge. Now, I'm not sure what MM does to prepare fresh, steamy hot Mac and cheese, but it doesn't seem to involve fresh steamy hot Mac and cheese. I'm curious how the cooks were trained. I'm now also curious just how "freshly made" the food is. I'd also like to know why it takes longer to serve cold Mac and cheese than it does hot. As for my sammich... The filling for this "sandwich" was about 1/4 " thick. Jimmy Johns #9 is 10x's fatter, tastier, and they're cheaper. I would recommend you steer clear of Magic Mushroom until they can get some people who know how to cook in their kitchens. I wish "N" all the best. She deserves an establishment that can support her hard work with quality food.

Location near the college, mall and the hustle/bustle of Mid Rivers makes this an easy destination. Fun atmosphere, great service and good food make it a go to2ce back for food and fun.

It's been years since I visited MM. Tired of the same old places, we ended up here. The two of us decided to share a couple of dishes. We selected the Stuffed Portobello and a Holy Shiitake pizza. The first dish was surprisingly tasty, warm on fresh greens and drizzled with vinaigrette. The pizza also hit the spot, and it's clear why it's so popular. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. It was a much better experience than when we were here a few years ago. I'm certain we are going to return to try a couple more dishes. We probably won't wait four years this time!

I love Mellow Mushroom! Really cute restaurant with groovy funky vibes and friendly staff. We got a half and half with the Funky Q and the Kosmic Karma and they were both delish! Just as tasty leftover the next day. The food took a while to come out for how empty the restaurant was when we were there (early dinner), but they apologized for being short staffed, so it was understandable. Kept my Diet Coke full and they had one of my favorite wines, so I was a happy camper.

I don't think they take reservations, but during busy times you can use Waitlist on their business page, right in the Yelp app, to get in line before you arrive.

    Is the patio dog-friendly?

Yes! Just don't let them get your pizza!🐶

We arrived early for our reservation but they were able to accommodate us, and we continued to receive excellent service courtesy of Hadley for the duration of our dinner. My boyfriend enjoyed his Negroni, which was very adorably adorned with an "XOXO" stamped ice cube. I had a glass of the Sangiovese which was excellent with our meal. They require you to order your entire meal at once, due to the very small kitchen staff. We started with the citrus salad, which was shockingly the star of the show. Do NOT skip this! Everything on the dish went perfectly together, I hope to continue to see this on the menu in the future. Our salad was followed by the mafaldine bolognese, which was rich and delicious, with impeccably cooked pasta. We also tried the sugo pizza, which was on their seasonal pizza list. This wasn't our favorite, but still very good. The guanciale was amazing, albeit a little salty with the other toppings. The pizza crust is definitely the star of the show, rightfully so! I can't wait to come back to try more. Many friends had recommended Noto to me, and it certainly did not disappoint.

I thought I left a review the first time I tried this place early last year or late 2024 but I…read moreguess I didn't. I have since been back at least four times. The first time was a great impression. My fiancé at the time ordered a margarita pizza which was delicious. I ordered a garganelli pasta with some sort of red sauce and beef. It left a lasting impression that made us want to come back for more! The impression was so lasting that I made a reservation for my bachelorette dinner to be here but the pizza I ordered fell very short. I think I ate once slice and left everyone else eat it. We got about 3 different other pizzas and they were just okay. The arancini was good and the blue crab pasta was really good and I was like okay I'll order that next time. It was also to celebrate my birthday and they brought out this dessert and the clove flavoring was so bold I spit it out. It was actually not good at all. I felt bad because they gave it to me for free so I just said I was way too full to finish. (First two visits food pics were on my previous phone so I do not have those any longer!) The third visit, I ordered the blue crab pasta and for the price there was barely anything in the bowl for one, but there were also these small chunks of lemon in it and I could not see it so I bit into it with the peel and it was so sour that it just ruined it for me. Ordered the arancini again but there wasn't enough sauce. The burrata was good though. I feel like I can't catch a break lol The last time I went (last night) we rock paper scissored between the shrimp toast and burrata. Shrimp toast won and I had really great shrimp toast from Indo so this fell flat and then I ordered the garganelli with kale and sunflower seeds and it really wasn't anything great and I've come to realize that this place is overrated and I really think it's psychological because there only open certain days of the week and they're so booked out so it MUST be fantastic, but it's just.. good. That's probably the last time I'll go. I feel a lot better spending my money at Katie's. It's more of a 2.5 star rating but I can't do halves and 2 seems like I hated the place but I didn't. It just really fell short the last 3 visits when other places are just so consistent with quality, Noto has been consistent with disappointment. Hot take, I know from other reviews, so take what you will. Other notes * it's pretty loud so prepare to speak up * very small waiting area - more like an aisle really and an outdoor four person space deck with a door leading to a ramp * even if you make a reservation, the exact time isn't guaranteed until the party before you leaves and they don't rush customers (good if you're the one dining, not so good if you're waiting -- had to wait the night of my bachelorette * no tiramisu a tragedy really * dim lighting so very romantic / love the aesthetic * though it's listed as classy, I've seen men wearing cargo shorts, people wear sweats... disrespectful in my opinion but no strict dress code

I had been a few times in the past but it was my family's first time. I don't drink alcohol and they have a great mocktail section! I got the NOPE-rol Spritz, it was delicious! My family and I split the white truffle fries and ciabatta as appetizers and they all got pasta dishes that they loved. I got a pizza (the Arugula) and unfortunately I feel as though I ordered wrong (which was my own fault), I didn't really care for it. When you took a bite it was like all the toppings fell off on the first bite. I think they cut the pizza before putting the toppings on which just made it harder to eat. I think the best part of the night was the service. We had Grace as our waitress (she was training another girl, but unfortunately I don't remember her name). They did a fabulous job - Grace did a wonderful job training her! It felt like we were at one of the more elevated Napoli's like Napoli III. They were so attentive and gave us great suggestions. The food will be very familiar from the perspective that everything we had was excellent. We started with calamari, and to our surprise there were also a small group of onion straws on the plate. It was served with 2 sauces (one marinara and one aioli - both were excellent). Don't skip the fried lemons, they are an added treat. We then moved on to the Napoli salad, it is as described on the menu...crisp, and appropriately dressed. Then we had the special pizza of the evening, it was a black garlic base (not strong) with mushrooms and burrata on top - delicious. We also happen to be sitting next to the area with the pizza oven - a must see if you are there. We did sit inside, but outdoor seating was available. What might not be so familiar, but I thought was great, was a more casual atmosphere, and decor, I would classify is as upscale casual. Our server was very pleasant, the only thing that surprised me was the time in between courses seemed a bit longer than expected, but that gave my friends and I a chance to catch up. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and I will be back!
