Don't go to the place where the guy running the pizza oven, the general manager according to the cashier, burns your pizza and lets his employees put it in a box for you to discover when you get home. Sure, when a teenager trying to make a buck messes up your order, it happens. This was no kid. I would give 1 star, if I could. read more

MOD Pizza - How about a pizza that we burnt and put in a box so you don't discover it until you get home? - Pizza Near Me - Columbia, South Carolina

Always a go to place. The food is always great, service depends on how many new people they have working and the environment is really cool and convenient. read more

Really love how quick they are, and the ample amount of healthy toppings available. The staff is friendly and the only downside is if you have an uncultured idiot in front of you who has never tried anything other than hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken fingers because they get completely overwhelmed by choice and hold up the line. They offer a Military discount, so that is cool as well. I can only give 5 stars because Nicky's pizza are the best in the area, but this is second. read more

MOD Pizza - The "Dillon James" with pesto and other add ons. - Pizza Near Me - Columbia, South Carolina

Great concept, great pricing, soggy pizza. I read a lot of reviews comparing to Blaze and I've always had a good pizza at Blaze with a nice char to the crust. This pizza was a soggy mess. Picking up the first slice and everything slid right off. The following slices I had to fold the three corners together to create more of a dumpling to hold the ingredients together. The flavors were good, but the dough was chewy and gummy, like undercooked dough should be. I gave them 3 stars for flavor and concept, and the hopes that I just experienced a cook with poor standards. read more

The day we visit it was very early after it opened. I think they were still figuring out the temperature of the oven. Are they just weren't experienced in how to adjust it. But this was months ago and for some reason I'm leaving about you because I'm coming back to eat there my wife decided she wanted to try it after her waxing next week so looking forward to it. And I do promise I will write it again and I'll bet y'all do fantastic now your friend! read more

MOD Pizza - Pizza with red sauce cheese pep onions olives spinach mushrooms....& spicy honey! - Pizza Near Me - Columbia, South Carolina

One of my go to pizza joints in the Columbia area! I love building my own pizza and adding the toppings I want, plus it's brick oven pizza which ALWAYS taste better. The pizza is always hot and they use fresh ingredients. You can choose regular crust or a thicker crust. They also offer vegan cheese if you need it, just ask for it :) Plenty of seating at this location and they also offer beer on tap. Bathrooms are usually clean and stocked with toilet paper and soap. I recommend getting there before 12 or after 1 so you can beat the lunch crowd! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Made an online order for immediate pickup. Arrived 15 min after the promised ready time and order was not ready. Waited 10 min at a dirty table , left and came back and order was still not ready . 45 min after promised time, I asked again about my order and was finally told order had to be re made. No one ever updated me at anytime what was going on with my order. I cancelled and got my money back! First and last experience at this establishment ! read more

This was my first experience at MODs Pizza and I actually prefer their competitor Blaze Pizza. The pizza was good. But they don't put much topping on the pizza you have to request more. Blaze does much better job preparing the pizza, better quality, and taste. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. I was little annoy bc the person helping me spoke soooooo low I was HUH? What? the whole time when trying to go through the line. read more

When we got there, there was a long line to order. We assumed it was good since there was a lot of people. We custom made our pizza and the employees were helpful at explaining the ingredients and toppings they had. Got a table and had to clean it up, there was a bunch of crumbs all over the table. I waited about 10 minutes then used the restroom and waited about 15 more minutes to get my pizza. I asked to see how much longer it's going to be and they said it's been ready. Either they called my name when I was in the restroom or they didn't t call it. Not sure. The pizza was already cold and soggy. The crust seem black and burn on some parts and somehow was still floppy and soggy. The pizza was tasty though. Ultimately it was ok, but just too crowded with trash and crumbs all over the tables and floor. The employees should have some kind of procedure, rule or policy to call the name again after a certain amount of time. read more

Great staff, awesome salads and pizzas made to your preferences--and they'll double or add more of any fave ingredient. We've loved this Mod for years and thought the team and quality warranted a great review. read more

The line was out the door and manager has employees making to go orders. He was very rude and said the to go orders were paying customers. Should have left at that point. Will not go there again!!! read more

Decent pizza, but I've also been to one of the MOD pizza locations in a different state and this one did not compare. It wasn't very clean, the "fresh" drinks they have (ice tea, lemonade, etc.) looked like they had been sitting in the container for days and were almost empty. Despite there being 4 employees and very few customers, service was slow and inefficient. You can watch them prepare your pizza and customize it (like subway), but most of the toppings containers were empty or messy and looked unappetizing. The biggest issue for me was that the measures they are taking for COVID-19 are simply not good enough. They allow customers to come in and customize their pizza and take it to-go, but weren't wiping any surfaces down, had customers touching and leaning over the glass between them and the ingredients, let customers self-serve drinks (no other restaurant I've been to has allowed this), and I didn't see a single employee wash their hands or replace their gloves between taking multiple orders. I've seen better precautions being taken at Food Lion, Costco, Publix, etc., and yet those places aren't preparing people food. I watched a girl box our pizza, ring us up at the register, prepare us condiments, touch money, all without gloves or a pump of hand sanitizer. Will not be back to this location, but it's a shame because MOD can be really tasty sometimes! read more

First time I went there, they got our orders right. We've tried to order from here two more times and everything we've asked to be left off was on there in addition to random toppings such as broccoli ?? Don't bother putting in options because they'll add whatever they want. If you want a pizza full of random selection, this is your spot. read more

Not very good:( We ordered 3 pizzas... Dominic, Jasper, and Dillon James. Really wanted to like this place because it's so close to home. The inside of the restaurant was nice and inviting and appeared clean. The pizzas all looked nice but lacked flavor despite the toppings. We actually couldn't eat the one with white sauce. Just didn't like the flavor. We had to get dinner elsewhere. This time it was a bust... we may try it again later since other people rave about it. May have been an off day. read more

This place is amazing! Pizza is always good no matter what day of week you get It. The staff is friendly and you get all that you ask for when you pay the price. Something that I love is you can get as much of any topping as you would like. Great for groups or by yourself, don't turn It down! Happy Eating! read more

Because I loved Blaze Pizza so much I was really excited when this gem popped up down the street from my work. Same concept, made to order pizzas with any topping you want! They don't charge extra for additional which is great. I also like that they have the mini option, I always end up taking half of the regular size one home! The staff is quick and efficient. They also offer made to order salads which is great, you can get that in mini size as well! Get here early, there is almost always a line at lunch time! read more

Yummy pizza place that you get to pick your own toppings as you go through the line. Add extra meat & cheese for same price if you like. Big pizza oven cooked so we asked for a little extra time in the oven since we enjoy the thin & crispy style. They have the thicker dough for those who like theirs thick & doughy. We joined the Mod app club to earn free pizzas in the process. We will be back. Nice yet busy staff & we appreciated their good attitudes considering how packed they were. read more

This is my new favorite place to eat pizza. Thanks to hurricane Irma my family was sitting at home with no power so we loaded up the car and drove over to Mod. The staff was warm and inviting ... the restaurant was very clean! We got four specialty mini Mod pizzas, garlic sticks and drinks for $35 ... score! The food was great. New favorite! Hurry on in and get great food ... enjoy, we did! read more

The best fast food pizza you'll ever get. The ingredients are always fresh. I love that you can see the whole process of the pizza getting made. It's really great for after a long day because the have taps on site and several in the cooler. Just in case you're in need of a cold one! read more

Just spent 24 minutes in line. The food is great and once it's made it is fast but the tag line "super fast" should not be applied to the restaurant. Thank you Columbia for having #glutenfree options to eat! MOD pizza has a 12" gluten free crust and 3 sizes of regular crust to either top with their signature pizzas or create your own. It took me a minute to decide what to add because there were so many toppings to choose. I ended up with a delicious variety of veggies plus salami and feta. My friend had a super helpful person give great suggestions and she loved her pizza. Definitely will be back if I am ever visiting again! read more

I went to MOD when I lived in CO Springs. What an amazing place. The service, SO good. These people know how to hire and train. I'm always greeted at the door. They make polite conversation in line. I'm thanked after I pay. Gluten Free crust = dope No GF guilt. They respect it. I love the drizzle options and pizza slicing style choices at the end. The pizza options on the menu, really good. I've tried a few different ones. The only downside, they don't feature hormone free or natural ingredients. The chicken is kind of spongey. I would pay extra for them to up the ingredient quality. read more

Never disappoints, great service, great food, great price, great people. Will return often. Makes going to Target even more fun!!

I really like this place. It may be a bit fast-foody, but the pizzas are honestly pretty dang good. I usually get the margherita (can't remember what they call it but it has a trendy name) and it's always good. They are really generous with their cheese amounts which I am grateful for when craving a pizza. The one thing that brings this review down to four stars is I'm pretty sure no one there knows how to cut a freaking pizza. Some pieces are tiny, others are huge. One time they just cut it into four giant pieces. ??? Like, why?! Anyway, besides that, it's a good, fast pizza joint. read more

Amazing amazing amazing food at a great price. We LOVED this place and will absolutely be back. There were so many ingredients to customize your pizza. And the lemonade was fresh squeezed and unlimited refills! We will absolutely come back next time we're in town. read more

Mod Pizza was Yummy! This was my first time eating here and the pizza was a great price, establishment was in a nice location, and had nice staff. I ordered online and it was ready by the time I got there. I love that they don't charge extra for toppings. I really liked the crusts' thinness. However, it was a little crispy for my preference but maybe that's how most people like their crust around here. I only had bacon and onion as toppings but I expected a little more, there were hardly any onions and the bacon bits were tiny, I figured they would cover the whole pizza. Nevertheless, for the price and efficiency the pizza was great. I would definitely recommend this pizza spot to anyone visiting the area. read more

As a celiac, it's nice to go somewhere and be able to get a pretty decent gluten free pizza crust (in the grand scheme of gluten free crusts, there are no great crusts). MODs has always been wonderful, very rarely have I gotten sick from cross-contamination. And I understand that's a risk everywhere I eat out at. However, the four stars is due to the number of eye rolls I've received when ordering gluten free. I understand it slows everyone down, and gluten free became a fad diet, but it's incredibly frustrating to order there. I get nervous to order gluten free, and that shouldn't be a thing. read more

Great pizza. Thin crust. Great selection of topings. Fast. What more could you want? Would stop here again.

I LOVE MOD Pizza. I've been going to MOD in Seattle for well over a year. However this MOD seemed to have some attitude issues with the staff. They were not very friendly, especially when I asked for additional pepperoni and bacon on my pizza. I'm pretty sure that's what I'm paying for, unlimited toppings.
