The staff gets busy and previously told me it's best to call in my order. Upon entering I was greeted with a BIG hello from one of the employees and he asked what was the name on the order. He then looked at the ticket and said my order would be ready in a few ... 3 min later order was ready... and couldn't wait till I got home because of the smell... the ingredients were fresh and the pie was HOT fresh out the oven. May very well be the best pizza in Columbia. Ingredients are fresh, service is friendly when you pick it up, and the food is incredible. I'm usually a guy that takes convenience over anything, but Il Bucato is the exception - I will never pass up an opportunity to drive to pick it up (delivery is offered but through a third party so I typically avoid, though they do offer curbside pickup if needed). I've been on a mission to explore the many options of pizza in this city versus just ordering from traditional places. In addition, this place is new and in my neck of the woods so I was excited to try it out! It was about 50 minutes or so before they closed. I ordered online for pick up as soon as possible. Once completed, I received a notification that it was scheduled for the next day at 4 pm. I was a little confused at first. So I immediately called and after the second or third time calling and second guessing if they were open and whether or not their hours were incorrectly listed given the pandemic and all, I finally got an answer. The lady answered and stated that the ordered was received and probably figured it was a mistake. She apologized and said she meant to call. It was no worries because I was calling immediately to get it straightened out. The pick up time was 15 minutes or so, which was fine because my travel time to the place is less than that. Once I arrived, I was preparing to call. As I was preparing to call and get my mask ready, someone appeared with my order. The guy was very nice and masked. It was a few others picking up as well. I ordered the fresh made bread with the EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) sauce to accompany it. The bread was good with a garlic, fresh taste and cut into french bread loaves. The EVOO was light tasting and pretty decent. If I order the fresh bread again I would choose the creamy marinara sauce with hopes of a flavor kick. The pizza was a 16 inch pork trio. Authentic and fresh; that's really all I have to say! It was delicious and pleasing. The slices were a great size. The crust was good. The pizza was made well. The toppings were tasty and fresh. The pizza was cooked very well. Glad to have this place close and curbside! I recommend giving this place a try. Especially, for those that hate the extra grease that most pizzas carry. This is the best pizza in town. Call ahead, it's all to-go. The parking lot is a little tricky on a busy-ish intersection, so be careful. But do visit this place. Great pizza little pizza spot tucked away down the street from the Richland fashion mall. Got the White Pizza and Prosciutto Bianco and both were great! Definitely a step above some what you would consider to be more traditional/greasy pizza that you will find elsewhere around town. The pizza is really good! We've eaten there 3 times now. We've had the cheese pizza, the pork trio pizza, the prosciutto bianco pizza, the pear salad, and the fried mozzarella salad. My favorite thing by far is the prosciutto bianco pizza. It's 5 stars in my book, but white pizzas aren't for everyone. The pizza we have ordered every time is the cheese pizza. It's not a NY slice, but it's still delicious and tastes original. The pork trio was good too, but it was a little salty. The salads were also impressive. The lettuce is very fresh, and the ingredients are unexpected. They're WAY better salads than you would expect from a pizza place. They're also big. Probably 1.5 times the size of what I call an entree salad. The pizzas are a good size too, but my husband, my 3 year old, and I can almost finish a whole cheese pizza when we're really hungry. I used to like this place and have had many good experiences. However, today I placed an order online curbside pickup. I drove up right in front of the window as was the only car there. I waited 15 minutes and no one came out. No other cars came during that 15 minutes. I called inside and they claimed they did not get my order.
