Such a fun place with a big pizza oven where you can watch them cook the pizzas. Very casual restaurant that smells so good when you walk in. Our server, Chase, was great and friendly. After reviewing the menu and deciding, we started with a 1/2 Cesar Salad and I forgot to ask for extra dressing, which I typically do but it wasn't needed. Perfectly dressed, tangy salad with crispy croutons and big shaves of parmesan cheese. I also had the Chicken Marsala and wife ordered the Mary Margherita Pizza. Both were so good...the chicken was so tender and their marsala sauce was delicious and rich and so tasty. Served with spaghetti for the perfect dish! The pizza was so good...with their crust being cooked to perfection with bits of char. The crust is light and flavorful although it is a bit soggy at the end but no worries, we loved it all together. And of course, we had the sticky toffee cake for dessert, which is to die for as well. Overall a great meal and we will be back! Sorry no photos this time around!

It was not really spicy, and I didn't like the sausage in the dish. It could have just been my preferences, but my friend ended up taking as leftovers her kids would enjoy. Overall, this place had both comfortable seating and comfort food. Italian is one of my favorite things to dine, and get that dopamine fix from pasta. Definitely not a dull place to get a drink at all. People seemed to be having a good time and enjoying the cozy feel of the bar. I recently went to this location located by arizona Ave and chandler heights in order to support a fundraiser that was going on, and all I have to say is that the service was really fast and easy. Mod allowed our schools jazz band to play by the entrance in order to promote the band program. This brought in a lot of people to the point where every table was taken. Even with all the people arriving left and right service was still pretty fast and I probably waited a max of 10 min. From start, where they take your order and make it right in front of your face to finish where I end up receiving the pizza that was getting baked on the spot. The jazz band added to the mood of that place by playing super groovy tunes and songs that will get anybody on their feet and just start jamming out. At the end of the night Mod thanked the jazz band by giving them free pizza for all the publicity they had. And also gave a percentage of all purchases made to the fundraiser. The pizza was super delicious and with that you can add as many toppings as you want and the type of cheese and sauce you desire at that moment. Its all custom made to your liking and not many pizza locations do this. The pizza was thin crust and the edges were nice and crunchy wich added to the texture of the pizza. The cleanliness of this location was very clean and organized and the employees worked in a very professional manner, treating everyone with respect and coming to the tables to pick up your plates and trash. We've been here several times and always with great experiences. Today we went for lunch, it wasn't busy, so we decided to grab a pizza and a salad. My pizza was on its way in to the oven before I had an opportunity to ask for them to hold the mushrooms or ask for any toppings. I did ask for sun dried tomatoes, and the "nice" girl with short dark hair and black nose ring sighed heavily and put a few tomatoes on my pizza. Again, there was NO LINE, it was not busy.....we've been there when it had been crazy busy and we've ALWAYS had great service with friendly people. When our pizza was ready, we asked for the fig, balsamic glaze.....to be met with the deep sigh "both of them!?" We will go back to MOD but I truly hope the girl who was having such a bad day can figure out how to not make her customers feel like they are intruding on her day. read more

I usually enjoy Mod Pizza, but my recent experience was disappointing. I requested a pesto drizzle to finish my pizza--something I always look forward to--but it was completely missed. I also specifically asked not to have my pizza cut, yet it was sliced anyway. On top of that, I asked for extra onions, and instead, I got extra jalapeños, which really threw off the flavor I was expecting. Mistakes happen, but when multiple requests are overlooked, it makes for a frustrating meal. Hoping for better attention to detail next time. read more
