I love coming to mod pizza when I have a pizza craving. Specifically I love that they offer Asiago cheese! chefs kiss! I usually order ahead online to get my pizza and it's usually ready by the time I get there So far I haven't been disappointed. Pizza is delicious and filling. The staff is nice and the place is clean. I never seen it too crowded either but I usually go on random evenings when that craving hits! At this point, I prefer mod pizza over pieology. But you know pizza lovers unite and enjoy! read more

I took my family and it was their first time at MOD so they took a while to decide but everyone was very accommodating. Also, this location is super clean! Like most chains, service is hit and miss, today it was definitely a hit. I was promptly greeted when I arrived, entered the queue and each person was very helpful. With the we make it the way you want it pizza places you have to speak up. I know how I like my pie to be made and I nicely coach the prep folks along. If you like a LOT of toppings and sauce like I do, then you HAVE to add your garden ingredients after the pie bakes otherwise you'll end up with a raw middle - yuck! It also helps if you happen to get there when it's not so busy. Luckily I got my pie during a brief lull in customers and was able to create a pie masterpiece for me! My extra sauce, extra cheese, bacon, pepperoni and salami cooked perfectly. From there, I had them add spinach, arugula, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives & jalapeños. Add a liberal drizzle of pesto and voila it was masterpiece. For the hubbs, he always gets pepperoni and sausage. To make it fun, I got him extra sauce & Cheese with all the meats. For added kicks, I had them toss on 1 jalapeño, 1 spinach leaf, 5 pineapple pieces and a few black olives. Beyond the super clean dining room, friendly and accommodating staff and masterpiece pie, what bumped this location to 5-stars was their amazing music!!! I literally rocked out to Boomtown Rats "I Hate Monday's", Cream's "White Room" and Bowie's "Changes". This is my sorta heaven! Mod Pizza is like pieology where you can select your toppings, cheeses, sauces with a set price. Price is exceptional reasonable. Where can you get a pizza with unlimited selections of toppings for $10. Our pizzas look like the kitchen sink filled with delicious fresh ingredients and they are very generous with their toppings. Everything was fresh and the meat toppings were scrumptious.However, the pizza crust is a bit disappointing, and undercook. That took a 1/2 star away. Nevertheless, is quick and easy meal when after work when you do not want to cook. yes, is my go to place of quick and fast food with delicious fresh toppings. read more

I absolutely love this concept!! Made on demand... pick your size or even pick if you want gluten or gluten free crust for your pizza. Choose your own base sauce and create your own or go with suggested recipes. I do like the Tristan and add arugula to it for extra goodness. My kids enjoy the meaty pizza and add extra sauce. The sauce is not overbearing and the serving of cheese is fair, I usually add Parmesan for extra measure. The salad is also made on demand and the greens are fresh and cold. I like how the greens are tossed with the dressing and the serving sizes are generous. This with a slice or two of the awesome pizza will have me super full. Just how I like it. I have seen people add salad to the pizza as a topping after it comes out of the oven and that looked great. I may try that next time. read more

We came back on a Friday night. What we thought would be busy and crowded, was a smooth visit! We were able to find a table right away and were eating pizza within 15 mins of arrival. Way to hustle MOD pizza crew! They have an efficient team and patrons are in and out within 30 minutes. Tables are vacated often. We'll be back! Great family dinner out. Few things to consider as the manager of this location. There needs to be a clear line for online orders,carry out, or even door dash orders. People just jump in line to ask for their order and overall it just seems unorganized and people are stepping over each other's feet. There needs to be a clearly established line for carry out or online orders. Every time I've come here for DoorDash, people are always cutting the line for help (I walked in before you and clearly waiting at the counter for recognition but you want to skip people there waiting to speak to someone) I suggest a clearly labeled line for people who are picking up to go ..... read more

Writing this review solely due to the fact that one employee was over the top rude to customers, including myself. I understand that it's a Friday night and that it's busy. But that doesn't give her the audacity to be so rude and snobby to paying customers. Every other worker here is doing their best assisting and helping customers out without attitude. It's a Friday night so the lines are out the door. The pizzas are piling up to be cooked. And all the tables are completely full. Anyway the situation that happened was I asked for pesto on my pizza and she seemed frustrated. There was hardly any in the container and she drizzled barely any on my pizza. Then when I asked for ranch she gave the sigh-ugh and the look on her face looked so pissed that she had to grab me a ranch. LIKE REALLY?! THIS IS YOUR JOB HUNNY. YOU SIGNED UP FOR THIS, SO DO WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO. Anyway... I asked her coworker for more pesto sauce and he went to the other side and put pesto in a small container for me. WITHOUT ANY ATTITUDE. There was another girl who came around asking all the tables if everything was alright. Super nice and friendly. && There wasn't any napkins in the napkin holder on the table, no straws by the drinks, and no anchovies but I wasn't bothered by it much. It's busy, understanding. Covid-19 review. As to be expected they are very inexperienced with technology. They created a BOGO offer for teachers and no way on their website to order or understand the offer properly. I ended up calling the order in and luckily this time there was a live person at the actual store vs some call center in FL. I emailed them about this and they immediately updated my account to support the BOGO offer. I like the fact that the pizzas are individually sized and totally customizable. But they always under cook them so the crust is very chewy.. But it is pizza so take them home and pop it in the oven for another 15 mins and its actually done to my liking.. Had the mush/pep this time which was good and satisfying- after I cooked it at home. Ordered a 2nd pie. California pizza kitchen need not worry( are they even in business?) I really didn't want to leave this review but the pizza they gave me was unacceptable! The whole bottom pizza was burnt, I couldn't even finish the pizza because all I tasted was burnt. I usually really like it here but this had to be said. Please make sure the pizzas are not burnt on the bottom. I wish I could get a refund because that was horrible. read more

We ordered a Cesar and I liked that they asked me if I wanted to customize it. I added chicken and pepper. We made our own pizza. We sat outside and started eating our salad. Our pizza was brought out to us by one of the employees which was a first. Usually we have to go pick it up ourselves. He asked us how our food was so far and if we needed anything else. Came here with the family on Sunday July 16th around 2:45p.. this is our second time here in the last month. First time was a different experience. This time, I can say there was no manager here, and the three teenage girls making pizza clearly showed they didn't want to be here. One even said out loud right before taking our order, "I should have not worked today" it's too busy, the black guy putting the pizza in the oven was wearing socks and Sandals..looked upset each time a pizza had to be put in the oven/fire grill. We really liked this place when they first opened, and now they just don't care. For the most part the employees don't say thank you and the pizza has less and less toppings making this less of a value than a frozen pizza from Safeway. Tonight was the final chance. As you can see by my photo you see more sauce than ingredients. The folks making and serving this lack luster pie never once thought "This does not look good" we can do better. Most act like they don't even want to be there. The older the employee the friendlier they are! This place can honestly be 50/50 when it comes to a wonderful meal. Don't order salads for delivery as they only fill the bowl a quarter way vs ordering in person which is not okay.
