Our visit to MOD Pizza was meant to be a fun family outing--a Friday night we'd planned and looked forward to, taking our grandsons to one of Grandpa's favorite places. With six of us together, we were excited for the boys to experience the unique MOD Pizza "build your own" style. They absolutely love pizza. As we moved through the line, Grandpa was at the back (parents at front) but was asked to step forward to start his order. When his pizza was finished, he politely asked for "a little more cheese on top." The pizza maker kindly added it without hesitation. Everything was perfectly normal until another employee--who appeared to be a shift manager--stepped in. She began by saying, "Unlimited toppings does not mean unlimited portions." Grandpa smiled and nodded, a bit surprised but still polite. She continued with several more comments: that too much cheese would slide off, that they were a new franchise and "aren't putting extra toppings on," and even that the health department could shut them down if the pizza didn't cook properly. At that point, Grandpa felt talked down to and embarrassed, especially being corrected repeatedly in front of his grandsons and a growing line of customers. He explained that he'd been coming to MOD for a long time and had never had an issue asking for a bit of extra cheese. She replied that "things have changed." What was supposed to be a fun, memorable night quickly shifted into an uncomfortable experience that left our family feeling unwelcome. To make matters worse, every pizza in our group was served lukewarm. Whether coincidence or not, it added to the disappointment. Grandpa has always loved MOD Pizza and wanted to share that with his family. Instead, he left feeling disrespected. We understand that everyone can have an off night, and we're willing to move forward--but customer service matters. A simple, kind explanation of any new rules would have been enough. We truly want to see MOD Pizza continue to thrive. Our suggestion is to ensure employees--especially those in leadership roles--receive customer service training. How customers are treated is unforgettable, for better or worse. Respect goes a long way, and we hope future visits reflect the welcoming experience MOD has always been known for. read more

Worst location ever it's so unsanitary behind the glass very dirty there's flys on the cheese i explained to the guy working behind the counter that the cheese and other Toppings had flys and he didn't want to remove it or swap it out for new toppings. MOD is the go to place for pizza every single time... Everyone can order what they want and how they want it. Service was helpful and polite. Pizzas had so much flavor and just the right amount of crisp in every bite. We love getting side dipping sauce too... especially ranch & buffalo... pour it on or fold your slice and dunk it. We went to mod Pizza today, it was my first time there. They were short staff but the staff was super friendly and efficient. Even though they had a line they were helpful and gave me recommendations on what type of pizza toppings I should choose. They engaged every customer, apologized for the wait and provided excellent customer service. We will definitely be back, can't wait to eat my pizza. Terrible. The girl with the pig ring in her nose was rude and obviously does not have anything to be happy about. When I asked for extra cheese, she put a very small amount of extra cheese and quickly put the pizza in the oven without asking if that was what I wanted. 90% of the dining area was blocked off so we could not even sit in a booth because they tipped all the tables. My wife and I love MOD pizza as a restraunt. We have been going to them for years since we lived in GA since about 2018. When we moved to Cleburne TX we found the MOD in Burleson TX. This has been the biggest let down since day one. The employees are always rude, non-existent, distracted, and always look like they just rolled out of bed. The trash cans are always over flowing, and the drink machines and counter are dirty. After multiple bad experiences we stopped coming. We decided it had been long enough and maybe it changed but to our suprise....it got worse. Sadly this will probably be out last time going to this location of MOD pizza. Today we got the worst service a guy named "Jesse" was terrible to my wife. The guy asked for her name and he felt offended for spelling her name multiple times. She has a unique name that always gets misspelled. While he was asking over and over. First let me say the service at the counter was pretty good as far as efficiency. No one seemed very happy to be there. They had adequate staffing when the lunch shift started although when the big rush came people were lined up to the door and the line moved slow. The biggest issue I had was the lack of prep in the dining area. I passes by 2 booths that I couldn't / wouldn't sit at because of the crumbs on the seats. The booth I sat down at only had 2 napkins in the holder. Seriously? Did anyone clean up and prep at close or this morning prior to opening. It actually made me concerned about the cleanliness behind the counter. I had heard such good reviews about this place. So after finding out my first choice was closed I decided to place a large online order to have pizza and salads delivered for a meeting. Day of meeting arrives and so does pizza, but no salads. I called the store and spoke to the manager. She was completely unhelpful. She said they arranged DoorDash to deliver my food. She stated once the food left their store it was no longer their responsibility. I would need to call DoorDash. I tried but could not find a working phone # for DoorDash.
