I THEN CAME TO FIND THE SERVER MESSED UP THE WHOLE ORDER on 6/3/2026, I drove 13.3 miles to Golden Chicken in Burleson, TX, store 1266, in drive-thru server Sophia, at 6:40 pm chk#5083(SPENT 51.92) I could have gone to any food establishment to feed my Family, The Quality, service for customers, PLUS more.... Spoke with the manager to come to find out the server entered the wrong order after driving back home, a waste of gas in this economy after driving 13.3 miles going all the way back TO NO SATISFACTION -NO REPLACE IF MY ITEMS NO REFUND, SERVER KEYED INCORRECTLY MY ITEMS TOTALY THE WHOLE ORDER. The food was really good but what made it better experience was how nice the staff was.

Love their catfish!! So I'm back again. Ordering was very easy, and the lady was very polite went to the window and was greeted very nicely and now I'm waiting for my order to be brought out to me because they make that catfish fresh !! Staff attitude is terrible. I asked for an extra bun because the smothered my sandwich in sauce and even offered to pay for it and the MANAGER tells me if I didn't want sauce I should've ordered it correctly. I tried to explain to her that I didn't mind the sauce there was just too much on the sandwich as it was dripping off everywhere and making a complete mess. One year later still gave them a 5 stars ! My family and I came in 30 mins before the lobby close Eric greeted us with a smile and was very polite and the cook Shakira made the food so quick and fresh ! Well, I like to be positive,so we'll start off with a good, the person that took my order was very nice friendly. However, the food I got was way below par, I ordered the four piece, tender dinner and 2 of the tenders were nothing but crust. My mashed potatoes with gravy was just gravy. The roll was average but considering the rest of the food quality it was the best thing I ate. Every time I go here it doesn't matter how many people are in line or what I order. I go through the drive through and every time I have to pull over to a parking space. I was the only one in line tonight and I ordered 1 chicken sandwich only. And they said it was going to be awhile before it was done. So far I have waited 22 minutes for a chicken sandwich. Since moving to Burleson almost a year ago, we have tried different places to eat. I had pretty high expectations for Golden Chick, so many options of chicken to choose from. Mom and I had the roasted chicken breasts, hubby had fried chicken. All of the pieces from each box were soaked in grease? It was orangey yellow and gross. Stopped at this location yesterday around 5pm. There were no cars in the drive thru and one customer leaving as we walked in. I have only been to a Golden Chick once before and it was in Forest Hill. That experience was great! I was expecting the same thing or better at this location. However, it was a terrible experience! We walked into an empty restaurant. The person who eventually made his way to the counter to take our order seemed distracted and annoyed that we were there. The whole time he was taking our order he kept looking back and around and never asked us if we wanted dine in or carryout. My husband noticed they were plating our food and we wanted it to go. When we finally got our order they didnt give us any gravy. I'm assuming since they had plated the food already, they missed re-packing up our gravy. We basically had to beg for ketchup and honey that is kept behind the counter at this location, but was out in the open at the Forest Hill one. They also had no DP or ice in their machines. Overall, it was a crappy experience and I will never go back to this one. Now, their empty drive thru and dine in area makes sense! read more

The commercials about the Fletchers Corny Dogs made my mouth water. Sounded so good. Ordered one today. It came out hard as a rock. Typically the real Fletchers corny dogs are fried to a golden brown and the coating is soft and moist. Not this. Also the hot dog tasted like crap. This place is really good, fast food, that does not taste fast has lots of flavor and is not very pricey and if you dining in they have a very nice quiet to normal atmosphere as far as noise and it's fast food it does not taste fast it's like a tossup between Chick-fil-A and babes. read more

The kid gave my food to the wrong car in the drive thru and had to run down the car to switch out the bags...so being in the time of the Coronavirus Pandemic, I asked if the person had touched the food/inside of bags. The kid said he wasn't sure. I was expecting him to offer to remake the food since it was almost $30 worth of food that could have been possibly contaminated by some person I don't know. He didn't offer so I reluctantly took the food. Got it home and the chicken is so dry it seems like it was cooked yesterday. Not to mention the nuggets that they try to pass as tenders. All the employers are teenagers and there was a boy texting instead of working. Had our first bad experience since it is one of our favorite places to get catfish. We ordered catfish dinners through the drive thru. When we got home there were no rolls and the fish was so salty. On the receipt it asked to text happy or sad about food/visit. I typed in sad and had to go through a survey. It asked if I wanted someone to contact me and I responded yes. So the bad experience was with the district manager. He texted me saying how sorry he was and could I call him! Excuse me! I thought it their place to call me. I called and sounded like I was bothering him (noise didn't sound like he was at work}. He asked me what I wanted him to do for me? This used to be my favorite place to eat. However, my last two visits I ordered the 3pc catfish filet combo (prior to the deal advertised on tv). Unfortunately, there's more breading than fish and if there is fish, it's paper thin. As expensive as the food is, you can definitely find better at the same or lower prices!
