The size of chicken and fish. Also I would a spoon for my potatoes. $12.00 is pricy for the size of the pieces

The food was really good but what made it better experience was how nice the staff was.

This place is consistently bad. Today it was a to go order and my fries were about half full if that. I am done here. The food is not so great such I want to keep spending my money here. I would have gone back but I live 15 minutes away and didn't check my bag. I kept thinking surely the fries spilled in the bag, nope, read more

Golden Chick - Where the hell are the rest of my fries?! - Fast Food Near Me - Burleson, Texas

Ordered the 4 piece tenders with lotta zing. When I got home and there was a tender missing, hardly any fries, and no sauce.

The lady at the front named Glenda who was so rude so disrespectful gave me such attitude and was being so unprofessional on February 20 2026 5:40pm I feel so disrespected never want to go there again read more

Staff attitude is terrible. I asked for an extra bun because the smothered my sandwich in sauce and even offered to pay for it and the MANAGER tells me if I didn't want sauce I should've ordered it correctly. I tried to explain to her that I didn't mind the sauce there was just too much on the sandwich as it was dripping off everywhere and making a complete mess. She was so rude and made me so uncomfortable that I just grabbed my meal and left the restaurant. I finished eating my food in my car. read more

One year later still gave them a 5 stars ! My family and I came in 30 mins before the lobby close Eric greeted us with a smile and was very polite and the cook Shakira made the food so quick and fresh ! Then Brandon was very polite and greeted us with grace. I love that they didn't rush us ! We stay until the lobby closed they made us feel welcomed ! This night crew was all amazing ! i choose this location every time they never disappoint!! Great job guys ! Keep up the amazing work ! Definitely would be telling close friends and family to come to this location!! read more

Well, I like to be positive,so we'll start off with a good, the person that took my order was very nice friendly. However, the food I got was way below par, I ordered the four piece, tender dinner and 2 of the tenders were nothing but crust. My mashed potatoes with gravy was just gravy. The roll was average but considering the rest of the food quality it was the best thing I ate. I haven't eaten here in a while and now I remember why, I don't think I'll ever come back, to many other better choices. read more

I wanna write this review to thank the guy who took my order , it was around 7.30 pm / April 10th 2024 . He was friendly nice and helpful! BOSS give him a RAISE . Also the food was on point and delicious. Keep it up ! read more

OK..its 8:12 PM and this place has ONE PIECE of fried chicken in the entire restaurant!!! ONE PIECE!!! A 15-20 minute wait to fill a $22.71 order. Sorry! That's just ridiculous! Headed to Chicken Express! Won't be back! Ugh! I LOATHE incompetence! read more

Golden Chick - Better chicken for the same money. And they actually have fried chicken without a 15-20 minute wait. - Fast Food Near Me - Burleson, Texas

This place is awful. The food is always old. We never get our rolls. It is not worth it for the amount of money you spend.

Every time I go here it doesn't matter how many people are in line or what I order. I go through the drive through and every time I have to pull over to a parking space. I was the only one in line tonight and I ordered 1 chicken sandwich only. And they said it was going to be awhile before it was done. So far I have waited 22 minutes for a chicken sandwich. No wonder every body goes to Chic-Fila or Popeyes. read more

Since moving to Burleson almost a year ago, we have tried different places to eat. I had pretty high expectations for Golden Chick, so many options of chicken to choose from. Mom and I had the roasted chicken breasts, hubby had fried chicken. All of the pieces from each box were soaked in grease? It was orangey yellow and gross. The coleslaw is horrid, almost had a chemical taste to it. I will say the corn nuggets and rolls were good. Will not return. read more

This is the only golden chick in the metroplex that won't allow you to sub a drink for a side. Very poor customer service!!

This place is really good, fast food, that does not taste fast has lots of flavor and is not very pricey and if you dining in they have a very nice quiet to normal atmosphere as far as noise and it's fast food it does not taste fast it's like a tossup between Chick-fil-A and babes. read more

I frequent Golden Chick all of the time because the food is always amazing and they have great service.

Wow...just WOW! Ate at the Crowley location a few times and stopped because the last few times I went they were out of fried chicken...15-20 minute wait! Been to this brand new location a few times already and it's always been very good...guess what: THEY'RE OUT OF FRIED CHICKEN! 15-20 minute wait for fried chicken at a fried chicken restaurant! Unfortunately, they have the best fried chicken in North Texas but can't seem to get their shit together! I HATE KFC...but I'm going to KFC...on principle! This is ridiculous! read more

Love love love their food. Very fast service only had 2 mess up with my order in the last 2 years weve been going.

Had to ask for my money back at 7pm when they couldn't produce two chicken legs. Unbelievable. Hey Golden Chick, I'll show you how to run a chicken restaurant because y'all have NO CLUE in Burleson. How much money are they losing for y'all every month??? read more

This place is absolutely disgustingly awful I don't recommend anybody come in here the food is very mediocre I think Chick-fil-A taste better than this and that's not very good I mean Chicken Express even taste better than this place in this place is very overpriced the employees can barely understand what you're saying that I'm here sorry to say will not be coming back to any of their locations. read more

The commercials about the Fletchers Corny Dogs made my mouth water. Sounded so good. Ordered one today. It came out hard as a rock. Typically the real Fletchers corny dogs are fried to a golden brown and the coating is soft and moist. Not this. Also the hot dog tasted like crap. Yes, my mouth was watering before, it watered worse when I took a bite. Nausea set in. Nasty. Stay away from that supposedly Fletchers Corn Dog. read more

Stopped at this location yesterday around 5pm. There were no cars in the drive thru and one customer leaving as we walked in. I have only been to a Golden Chick once before and it was in Forest Hill. That experience was great! I was expecting the same thing or better at this location. However, it was a terrible experience! We walked into an empty restaurant. The person who eventually made his way to the counter to take our order seemed distracted and annoyed that we were there. The whole time he was taking our order he kept looking back and around and never asked us if we wanted dine in or carryout. My husband noticed they were plating our food and we wanted it to go. When we finally got our order they didnt give us any gravy. I'm assuming since they had plated the food already, they missed re-packing up our gravy. We basically had to beg for ketchup and honey that is kept behind the counter at this location, but was out in the open at the Forest Hill one. They also had no DP or ice in their machines. Overall, it was a crappy experience and I will never go back to this one. Now, their empty drive thru and dine in area makes sense! read more

The kid gave my food to the wrong car in the drive thru and had to run down the car to switch out the bags...so being in the time of the Coronavirus Pandemic, I asked if the person had touched the food/inside of bags. The kid said he wasn't sure. I was expecting him to offer to remake the food since it was almost $30 worth of food that could have been possibly contaminated by some person I don't know. He didn't offer so I reluctantly took the food. Got it home and the chicken is so dry it seems like it was cooked yesterday. Not to mention the nuggets that they try to pass as tenders. Fries are not hot at all and seem stale. And roll that's burnt and stale as if baked yesterday. Don't think I'll return. read more

We waited in the drive thru for 40 minutes. By the time we got to the window we were told that they had no chicken tenders that we would have to wait another 5 minutes. All the employers are teenagers and there was a boy texting instead of working. Then we watched him walk outside and vape while it looked like the manager (an older woman) walked outside with him had a chat along with him. Unbelievable. The manager needs to take charge here. We waited another 20 minutes for the chicken when she said it would be 5. Never coming back. read more

Had our first bad experience since it is one of our favorite places to get catfish. We ordered catfish dinners through the drive thru. When we got home there were no rolls and the fish was so salty. On the receipt it asked to text happy or sad about food/visit. I typed in sad and had to go through a survey. It asked if I wanted someone to contact me and I responded yes. So the bad experience was with the district manager. He texted me saying how sorry he was and could I call him! Excuse me! I thought it their place to call me. I called and sounded like I was bothering him (noise didn't sound like he was at work}. He asked me what I wanted him to do for me? I would think he would be trying to make a customer happy instead of me telling him what to do. It will be a long time before I go back. read more

We stopped by the burleson location tonight and got the 6 piece strip meal. When we got home and started to eat the tenders they were all still pink on the inside. I mean raw pink. We had to drive all the way back from cleburne which is where we live to get our money back. Do Not go here. read more

Love it! Where else can you get such a great meal, fast, through a drive through? I like the spicy option on the chicken tenders and the rolls are over the top. read more

This used to be my favorite place to eat. However, my last two visits I ordered the 3pc catfish filet combo (prior to the deal advertised on tv). Unfortunately, there's more breading than fish and if there is fish, it's paper thin. As expensive as the food is, you can definitely find better at the same or lower prices! Also... the sides are very small. read more

Such great customer service. I recommend the spicy chicken and the rolls are the bomb! Manager actually cares about making you happy

Pretty good food for a drive thru. The manager I think Teresa was amazing, friendly, fast with a smile on her face. We will go back again. Younger staff but all seem well trained. read more

Young lady taking my order was not familiar with the menu obviously. I questioned several times. I asked if the ranch dressing for the salad was in the bag and was told yes. It was but wrong kind with no fork either. My chicken order was also incorrect. I will not be returning. Way too much money for the wrong order! read more
