On 7/12/26 I ordered a Fastaco and reg taco. When I got home I didn't get a Fastaco, It was a regular taco with tomatoes and sour cream added and it had very little meat on it. For Mexican Fast Food, this is pretty good. They have a lot of choices beyond just tacos and burritos. The food tastes fresh. I think the quality is better than Taco Bell and taco bueno. The prices weren't horrible, but they seem like they could be a little cheaper, but that's the case everywhere you go these days. We really enjoyed it. We decided to try some of their most popular items and share them to get a good picture of what they have to offer. If you're looking for fast food Tex-Mex, I highly recommend this. read more

I asked my wife to get tacos and she ordered a 13 pack (these tacos are about 3/4 the size of a normal toco) They were okay for a taco. The taco sauce was excellent. They charged us $30.30 and we did not order anything else. If I was there I would have told them no thanks. The cost for the size of fast food taco's was not worth the food. read more

Fastaco is absolutely amazing. It's actually the only taco my sister will eat. She hated tacos but after she had Fastaco she now always asks for it for dinner. And the 13 pack is great for big families, having friends over, and when you know your going to eat 3+ tacos. read more

Me and my wife visited this Fastaco today (4-26-16) because she's pregnant and wanted a cheesy potato soft taco at whatever cost. I left off three stars for our visit for 3 reasons. 1. The guy in the window didn't smile or even make eye contact. I know a lot of people don't put a lot of emphasis on kindness these days especially in a drive thru but still... 2. When we started drinking our tea, we immediately looked at each other in disgust, It tasted a day old. 3. After we pulled foreword to the trash can I opened my window to throw away the tea and a swarm of bees became very angry that I had thrown tea on them. We had to drive home with all the windows open to keep from getting stung again. It was nice out but that's not the point. Don't think I'll return. read more

Never again. Ordered a tostado with no sauce and it was overflowing where it fell apart and the funniest part was they put about a nickel size amount of cheese on it. They never get orders right there. read more

This is one of those favorite places you have known since you were a kid. This establishment was first located in Burleson and favorite haunt when I was teen, then moving to Joshua. They have some of the best Quesadillas, (not sure I spelled that one right)...to anything with beans. They have by far the best bean burritos around. read more

When I first discovered this local chain, I immediately loved it. Mostly, though, I loved it because it was a local fast-food chain. Much prefer to support locally owned and operated restaurants than these huge franchises. Then I started going there. Got a few good things and thought it was wonderful. Well, they still have great food, but in my opinion they have some rather icky selections as well. I highly recommend that fajita burritos and the taco salad. Both are superb--especially the taco salad. However, a lot of their recipes appear to use that nasty processed pretend cheese like Velveeta. OK, so it appears to be very popular out there. But any restaurant that uses Velveeta or imitations loses stars. Stay away from the nachos and quesadillas if you find Velveeta nasty. If you choose carefully, this is an excellent, highly recommended restaurant. read more

Food is great but for the third time in about a month, we ordered 2 orders of original nachos and when they hand you the bag it literally feels like nothing is in it. Today, I counted 12 chips in 1 order with about a teaspoon of beans and maybe a tablespoon of cheese. The other order had just a few more. For the price you can eat at a regular Mexican restaurant, not fast food. But the food is usually very good. Just not much of it. And if you ask for hot sauce, you better check to see. Surprisingly good crispy beef original tacos! Like Taco Bell but more meat and cheese and lettuce! Not bad for $1.39 or something like that. I'd go back for the 6 tacos for $6 deal! ! I liked it better than the tacos from Tacote next door. Their tacos were more traditional but the flavors were off. My order is never correct and the wait time for my order is ridiculous. When I first moved to Joshua we used to eat here at least once a week. Now, I avoid it unless there are no other options. Unfortunately every time I go, my order is wrong, and I've had to wait 15 minutes in the drive thru line only to have bad customer service from the cashier. Joshua doesn't have a lot of restaurants to chose from and it would be nice if FasTaco would drastically improve. read more

Fastaco has been the love of my Mexican fast food life for more than a few years. I'm literally in love with their cheese. Holy crap, it's the best. I came here all through out high school and now that I've moved away, I crave it like crazy. The service might not be the best but I could care less because I love the food that much! I love their food, but they are ANYTHING but fast. I think the shortest time I've ever waited for food here is probably about 20 minutes. They are also really expensive considering what they are, the food is decent, but the prices are almost restaurant quality, which, sorry, but, the food is not THAT great. But, it's convenient if you want fast Mexican, it's way better than driving all the way to Burleson, so occassionally it's worth it. The Joshua Fastaco has been recommended by many people, but I don't see why. I went here and got a crispy beef taco and asked for no tomatoes. Not only was there tomatoes, but there were a few strands of hair in it. And there was a faint smell of pot outside of the building along with employees talking about the drug. I am disgusted and wouldn't recommend eating here for obvious reasons. read more
