This is still a gem of a place. Hidden on a side road, it could really use a better location to get the visuals it needs to keep people coming in. It seems they have more to go orders than they do sit in. 90% of the time I come it's empty inside. Friday is our pizza night and we really like their PB&J and Supreme pizzas. They are a bit more costly than other locations, but the pizzas are wicked good. Definitely a place folks need to frequent. read more

I would rate them a 5 except they want way too much for delivery outside of a 5 mile radius. At any rate their lizard fries are awesome. Their veggie pizza is also great and so is the Supreme. we have not tried any of the desserts and I cannot comment on the ambiance because we always order to go. The food is really good I just wish they didnt want 75.00 for delivery. Or they would allow someone else to deliver for them. read more

Best pizza in town! They have great deals and their pizza is so goo and fresh! We found this little gem a few years ago and if we get pizza it's Texas Royal. read more

My wife and I were camping at nearby Lake Cleburne State Park. After reading all the great reviews of this place, I decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. I had a small pizza and my wife had lasagna. It was great. I will definitely return next time I am in the area. read more

Instead of spending your money at the big box pizza chains come to this great hidden gem. For less than $15 you get a drink and 6 topping pizza or specialty pizza of your choice. I got a supreme pizza, which was an excellent combination between meat and veggies and a healthy amount of different cheeses. The toppings blended well together the sauce was light, but provided a good taste to the pizza. The crust was thin and delicate, but not flimsy either. A very good pizza indeed. This quaint atmosphere was quiet and calming unlike so many places pumping music at full blast. The one sever was attentive and friendly for my entire visit. read more

Great food!! Quick and excellent Calzones! Try it for sure...you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely love that they have dairy free options- the only place in town that does! The staff are great, kind and accommodating! It's definitely pricier than I'm used to but it's probably worth it given the pizza and the options :) read more

Absolutely the very best pizza we've ever had! Have had pizza from Rome Italy to NY. . The hotel we stayed at recommended this place for delivery. So glad they did. Who'd have thought that in small-town Texas we'd have such a delicious pizza. And very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!! read more

Great little pizza place! We got the PB&J and the margherita pizza! Love the sauce and the crust on these!

They will create pretty much anything you want them to attempt AND it will be good no matter what. Love this small town pizza place!

While visiting in the area, I was looking for a good local, privately owned restaurant. When I discovered Texas Royal Pizza, I hit the bull's-eye. Customer service was excellent at the counter. The owner was in the dining room, and I had the opportunity to chat with him. Quality man! Even though I wasn't able to stay in the dining room because of Covid stuff, I was able to take out my order. The pizza was perfect. I couldn't be happier. I just wish this restaurant was in Fort Worth where I live. read more

I'm not a big pizza fan so when I tried this place I was very happy. The crust is unique and pizzas have light sauce that allows you to experience the taste of all the ingredients. Fast service and generous portions. read more

On a stopover in Cleburne we decided after some great reviews to try this place and it was Amazing! The owner couldn't have been friendlier. We had two gluten free pizzas which were delicious. The place was charming and the food excellent. Big recommendation! read more

Horrible pizza. Hand tossed came out thin and under cooked. I even asked if that was hand tossed. Looked at me and balled faced lied. So doughy. Tasteless. Don't waste your hard earned money. Giovannis much better pizza. Never will go back. read more

Really great pizza. If you're looking for a local good pizza this is a good option. Always fresh and fast delivery.

Awesome pizza and wings.Delivery lady is very nice and timely. Highly recommend!!! The Pb&J speciality pizza is excellent.

The pizza is consistently good, however it's over priced. They use to have great salads, recently they've been yellow iceberg lettuce. The biggest issue I have with Royal Pizza is that we're never given an itemized receipt so you really don't know what you're paying for. This evening we ordered a large pizza with two toppings and a small salad - our total was $22 seems like a bit much for that. read more

In town for business and this was one of the best out town pizzas I've had. I will definitely eat there again. Staff was friendly.

Heard all the people talk about Texas Royal Pizza, we just moved to town and decided to try it. Walked in the place, a very nice English lady from the UK greeted me. She was very pleasant, she took my order, all was well. I came back 20 minutes later, pizza was ready. I picked it up and headed for home. Now for the verdict: the pizza dough was very tasty, the ingredients were fresh, cheese was good too. My only objection is the style in which the pizza was built. I was trained as a manager in several high volume pizza companies. I was always taught the base options for oven baked pizza, 1) Good dough, 2) add tasty sauce (spread to edges) 3) add cheese (this is important to the cooking of the ingredients. Cheese placed on top of the toppings means the the other toppings don't get cooked properly. 4) add the toppings, the heat of the oven toasts the toppings. I like this place, but I think I will ask for the cook to not put the cheese on top, instead put the toppings on after the cheese. Great owners, I'll be back to Texas Royal Pizza read more

I had pepperoni rolls, a salad, a chicken Parmesan sandwich, and garlic Parmesan chicken tenders, that was out of this world. After reading countless positive reviews we decided to try this place out. And boy do we regret it. Not good. And by not good I mean not good. I've had frozen pizza at home that tasted better. It was so bad we ended up throwing it away. The crust has no flavor at all. It was very thin even though we got the regular. And it was expensive. A 14" cost us over $20. Which I would be happy to pay if it was good pizza. I think the only reason this is ranked so high is because there aren't really any other pizza places around. Definitely won't be going back. read more

Awesome pizza! The crust has flavor. We had hamburger and we loved it. We will definitely try more items on the menu.

We wanted to support local in our new hometown. We were very disappointed. Over $20 for a large pizza; which is more comparable to a medium sized at other pizza establishments. The crust was flat and chewy; reminiscent of frozen dough; actually we've had better frozen for sure. The toppings were scarce at best, as well as the sauce. The cheese did appear to be of better quality than most but honestly that's the only positive I can give about the pizza here. We won't be ordering again. read more
