This is still a gem of a place. Hidden on a side road, it could really use a better location to get the visuals it needs to keep people coming in. It seems they have more to go orders than they do sit in. 90% of the time I come it's empty inside. Friday is our pizza night and we really like their PB&J and Supreme pizzas. I would rate them a 5 except they want way too much for delivery outside of a 5 mile radius. At any rate their lizard fries are awesome. Their veggie pizza is also great and so is the Supreme. we have not tried any of the desserts and I cannot comment on the ambiance because we always order to go. Instead of spending your money at the big box pizza chains come to this great hidden gem. For less than $15 you get a drink and 6 topping pizza or specialty pizza of your choice. I got a supreme pizza, which was an excellent combination between meat and veggies and a healthy amount of different cheeses. The toppings blended well together the sauce was light, but provided a good taste to the pizza. The crust was thin and delicate, but not flimsy either. A very good pizza indeed. While visiting in the area, I was looking for a good local, privately owned restaurant. When I discovered Texas Royal Pizza, I hit the bull's-eye. Customer service was excellent at the counter. The owner was in the dining room, and I had the opportunity to chat with him. Quality man! Even though I wasn't able to stay in the dining room because of Covid stuff, I was able to take out my order. The pizza was perfect. I couldn't be happier. The pizza is consistently good, however it's over priced. They use to have great salads, recently they've been yellow iceberg lettuce. The biggest issue I have with Royal Pizza is that we're never given an itemized receipt so you really don't know what you're paying for. Heard all the people talk about Texas Royal Pizza, we just moved to town and decided to try it. Walked in the place, a very nice English lady from the UK greeted me. She was very pleasant, she took my order, all was well. I came back 20 minutes later, pizza was ready. I picked it up and headed for home. Now for the verdict: the pizza dough was very tasty, the ingredients were fresh, cheese was good too. My only objection is the style in which the pizza was built. I was trained as a manager in several high volume pizza companies. I was always taught the base options for oven baked pizza, 1) Good dough, 2) add tasty sauce (spread to edges) 3) add cheese (this is important to the cooking of the ingredients. Cheese placed on top of the toppings means the the other toppings don't get cooked properly. 4) add the toppings, the heat of the oven toasts the toppings. I like this place, but I think I will ask for the cook to not put the cheese on top, instead put the toppings on after the cheese. Great owners, I'll be back to Texas Royal Pizza read more

After reading countless positive reviews we decided to try this place out. And boy do we regret it. Not good. And by not good I mean not good. I've had frozen pizza at home that tasted better. It was so bad we ended up throwing it away. The crust has no flavor at all. It was very thin even though we got the regular. And it was expensive. A 14" cost us over $20. Which I would be happy to pay if it was good pizza. I think the only reason this is ranked so high is because there aren't really any other pizza places around.
