The manager *Tim* is truly exceptional. I never thought I'd leave any sort of review for a cicis, but we were there recently for spirit night for a local school and he was AMAZING at what he does. Making sure everyone got a table asap, while manning the register, checking on kitchen staff etc. while people were lined up and waiting to dine because the place was packed and a success. He was phenomenal in a situation where most would lose their cool and be stressed or even rude, he was so pleasant! Recently we had a small gathering for a basketball team and he was again, beyond great. There was unexpected tornado warnings for our area where the wind and hail was SEVERE. This whole ordeal lasted probably at least an hour maybe longer. Again, he made sure everyone was safe and away from the windows and handled the situation flawlessly and safely. While patrons ate and watched the weather livestreams. People were by the bathrooms ready to take cover and back dining areas I honestly wish we all had a Tim around in any potential tornado or pizza setting from here on out. I was born into and raised in a very well known restaurant in downtown Austin Texas so my judgement of any restaurant staff is very precise. Again I do not typically leave reviews especially for restaurants because of my standards unless I am certain. But this review is well deserved and I hope everyone enjoys. Shout out to cicis manger gentlemen yesterday. Our electricity went out during the winter storm, so my husband and two of my boys decided they wanted to go eat somewhere warm waiting for the electricity to come back on and the manager at cicis was so nice and welcoming and even sent home pizza and cinnamon rolls for them to eat for later. The good - its a pizza buffet. The bad - they do not cycle through their pizza under the heat lamp. I had to take some of the desserts off in order to get them to put some fresh items. Lo and behold, the new item is also old and cold. MAKE FRESH FOOD PEOPLE. the Ugly - the drinks are dispensing black pieces, come on people clean your drink fountains. After our meal my daughter and granddaughter visited the bathroom only to greeted by many many Roaches. My daughter along with another lady reported this to the manager who stated we have an exterminator coming. Stopped in here for a quick bite with my 8 year old son who LOVES CiCi's! Selection on the pizza buffet was limited at best so I asked the guy if he could make a thin crust sausage for us. He then directed me back to the buffet and this is what he said. "There is the sausage pizza. It looks like those are black olives but it just burnt sausage." He said it like it was no big deal. This is just about the nastiest place on earth!!!!! Me and my boyfriend went to eat their yesterday and the pizza was old looking and all dried out I only seen them replaced the cold pizza one time with a new one. And in the far right corner their was a massive cobweb just chillin up their and if their is a cobweb that big how well do you think they clean. They also never came to get our plates until we were standing up to leave he said "are y'all done with those" as we were holding our keys and I said yes we are leaving. This place was disgusting. My youth group felt very uncomfortable in this atmosphere. While dining we were surprised by the leaky sprinkler that dripped on me while eating. We also saw a bug on the wall that made me even more grossed out. The woman's bathroom was utterly disgusting. It looked like it has not been cleaned in a long time. There was also a random glove on the wall we were greeted by. They never got our dirty plates either. The salad tasted a bit off, and the dessert had a weird texture. We checked the reviews for this place and they were what we expected and it looks like this place specifically has always been like this. Overall I do not recommend this place . I have some concerns about this establishment. The first is that the manager was on her phone the entire time my family and I were eating. The second was the fact that half of the food was dried out and looked like it hadn't been touched in a long while. I really like their cinnamon rolls, but these were like grabbing a stone. The third is the fact that the lady making the pizzas didn't wear gloves or wash her hands at all. My mother and I watched her handle a container of cheese, eat a bit of a candy bar, and pull her pants up before handling the cooked pizzas. I honestly think that the health inspector needs to make a surprise visit. This was the worst restaurant I have been to in a long while. read more

The only reason we stopped at Cici's in Cleburne was because we were in the area and we are familiar with the CICIS in Ft. Worth and Burleson. By far, Cleburne CICIS buffet selection are slim pickings and the temperatura of the food is luke warm. The flavors are not true to the other locations I have visited. We have visited this location several times in the past, but it until last week it had been a while since we had gone in. We've never had a bad experience, but our service last week was exceptional & I feel the staff deserves praise for their excellent customer service. We brought my elderly grandma with us. She is on a walker & doesn't get around well, but loves to get out of the house when she's able to. One of the gentlemen working there helped her with the tray when we first arrived & then the same man several times came by our table asking her if she'd like him to get her a drink refill or if she needed extra napkins, etc. My husband, myself & our teen son were all sitting with her & could have gotten her anything she needed, but he made an effort to be sure she had everything she needed so we were able to just sit down, relax & enjoy our special visit with her. Another gentleman stopped by our table a couple times to clear the plates away & even gave the table a quick wash as he took the used plates away. The buffet stayed well stocked while we were there & they had a good selection of options. In the past I have noticed the salad at this location hasn't always been the best quality (either wilted or just a lot of thick, white pieces of lettuce core), but this time the salad & veggies looked fresh. read more

When my friends and I went to this CiCi's, we were given dry food, flat sodas, and also attitude from staff. The cashier boy was very nice while others were rude. If I could give zero stars I would. The floors were dirty, tables were barely wiped down; and when confronted, we were told we were being served old pizzas. We are all disgusted. After being confronted, we were given a very rude manager. I now have a very strong stomach ache from learning the truth. Awful. Truly awful. Never going here again. My sister who was on edge already, went up and confronted them; the cashier was very thoughtful and was nice to us in telling the truth. read more

We hadn't been to this CiCi's in a long time. The food was great. Fresh and very good. Everything was clean, although we didn't use the restrooms. They earned these stars, but they sure do need to invest in a power washer for the sidewalk out front. It was disgusting. That has to be years of grime. I couldn't be more disappointed in this place! Today my family decided to grab lunch at the Cleburne CiCi´s although we normally go to the Burleson location. We walked in and were greeted by an exceptionally nice lady (im guessing the manager). Which was nice! It all went downhill from there. We should have walked out when we couldn't find a decently clean table... Everything seemed sticky and grungy. They had a fair amount of pizza out but it looked like it had been there a bit. IT WAS HORRIBLE! It tasted old and the crust was hard throughout the entire slices. It was cold and awful. My kids wouldn't even finish one piece. I opted for a salad and the mushrooms were complete slime. At this point I was just done. In attempts to fill up my kids somewhat I got them each a brownie (normally thier absolute favorite!) They took one bite and spit it out. I figured they were being dramatic and tried it myself. It tasted chalky and odd. I'm not sure what was going on! My husband ordered a personal pizza in hopes that it would be better. He asked for a supreme without the sausage. Not surprised at all there was sausage on it!!! Lastly the pasta with marinara tasted freezer burned?? In not even sure how that's possible?! We will not be returning to Cleburne location. We were greeted coming in but that is where the good service ended. The pizzas tasted good but nobody who worked there wanted to help with ANYTHING. My nine year old was having a problem getting a slice he wanted and when I asked someone to cut the pizza a little better they looked at me like I was stupid. Couldn't find anyone to help order a custom pizza for our table and we ended up getting the wrong thing. Several employees standing around talking while I was waiting for help at the buffet. And when I asked for a knife to cut the pizza up for my smallest child the girl ROLLED HER EYES at me. Pizza is good but customer service was the worst I've ever had. We love this place ; we eat here at least once a week. All you can eat.; salad, pizza, desserts, drinks all for a low price. You can get a special pizza like you want just by asking for it when you pay. We are over 55 so we eat for $10.00 for me and my husband ; includes drink and all. Just ask for senior citizen discount . And you fill up and its good food. And employees are kind ; courteous to you . Food is fresh daily and made at that time you are there. Fresh salad bar and desserts. Clean environment. It has a small area for kids to play games ; Wish it was bigger but ok. All in all great place to eat. :) read more
